Abstract:The vending machine is an automated device that dispenses a variety of products to customers when cash or a credit card is placed, including food, beverages, newspapers, tickets, and more. Contrary to traditional purchase methods, vending machines are more convenient and available. Today, the market for vending machines generates enormous annual revenues for developed countries like the United States, Japan, China, and some other Asian nations, including India. The goal of the paper is to create a vending machine that can dispense three different items at varying costs with the added functionality of "return change" when a coin of a higher denomination is input and "return money" when a request is cancelled. Coins of the values of five and ten are accepted by the machine. The design of vending machines uses the finite state machine (FSM) methodology. The design is accomplished by using behavioural modelling to create the Verilog code for the FSM-based machine and the Xilinx ISE tool to simulate the test-bench for three items.

Abstract:This paper represents the design and implementation of FPGA based vending machine. The whole vending machine design Verilog code verified using the VIVADO HLX 2019.1 simulator and it’s implemented on FPGA Zed board xc7z020clg484-1. Simulation result is shown in this paper for three different cases- First, when user put sufficient amount in the given slot and machine delivered the product to the user, second when user put insufficient amount in money slot and cancel the transaction in between, third vending machine doesn’t have selected product, due to this user select other product. The synthesis results i.e., percent utilization of LUT, I/O port is also shown in this paper.

Abstract:The vending machine is a kind of cash driven machine that automatically distributes snacks, drinks and other consumer products automatically. Consumer pay coin into a slot, once a choice is made by pressing the push button, the machine dispenses the item purchased. Money, card or coin-based product vending machine by using embedded microcontrollers; Arduino and Raspberry Pi are currently used in systems. By using these microcontrollers, it is complicated when there was a technical error. In this review paper, we have created a multi-product coin type vending machine by using Mitsubishi PLC. The Programming Logic Controller (PLC) used automatically to monitor and control with high speed, efficiency, and reliability. Switch ON the power supply. Put the coin in the coin acceptor, and then select the product by pressing push button. The motor starts rotating along with the spring and moves the selected item until it released from the spring. The Hall Effect sensor used to count the rotation with the help of the magnet to sense. When the product released from the spring the motor stop rotating and the released product is ready to dispense. [1],[ 3],[5]

Abstract:now days the Plastic is one of the most versatile material. These days the waste generated by humans. In this paper we develop the VM and RVM . A VM is an automated machine that provides three different types of items such as coca cola, sprite and thumbs-up etc. the money is inserted to consumers in to the machine. The reverse vending machine is the machine that accepts empty plastic bottles and credits discount offer. The collected empty plastic bottles are sent for further recycling which is environment friendly. Operation of the machine exhibited accuracy in recognizing barcode data, distinguishing between vend plastic bottle and other plastic bottles, storage update. The machine is able to run on commercial power. All the mentioned process will be controlled by a PIC microcontroller. Throughout the process barcode sensor is responsible to Identify vend plastic bottles. The developed project is environment friendly and cost effective

Abstract:This paper proposes the design and construction of a didactic vending machine, students pretend to be immersed in a work with delivery date as many companies that work for projects do. The project of vending machine to be developed will have as parameters that dispatch four different products, with a control panel, a 16 x 2 LCD screen which shows the cost of the chosen product or product, will have to give change and its data processing is via Arduino, a 3D simulation is carried out to ensure the compatibility of all components, an innovation presented by the prototype to be developed is that it sends a text message when a product is about to run out, with the product description, the number of machine and its location, this provides the supplier with better control over their large-scale machines. A comprehensive financial investment analysis is performed to ensure the viability of the project.

In this paper, a control system of vending machine based on PLC is introduced,this system mainly has three slots,it can automatically sell three drinks.it can automatically sell according to the total amount of coin and drinks price,it can realize some basic functions,such as judge true and false coin,data communication,automatically change,the display of the total amount of coin,alarm,system reset and so on. Through actual vending machine program debugging and running test,this design can realize the function of vending,the effect is good.

Abstract:Using Verilog HDL language to research a subway automatic ticket booking system. The design of this subway ticketing system takes convenience, quickness and simplicity as the core, and takes saving time for passengers. It completes the main process of buying subway tickets for passengers. Firstly, this project studies the development of subway ticketing system at home and abroad, and then studies the basic components of subway ticketing system. The paper also simulates the ticket selection module, change processing module and display interface module on Xilinx Vivado. In the Verilog design, finite state machines (FSMs) are employed to model the various states of the ticket booking process. These FSMs ensure smooth transitions between states, enabling the system to handle scenarios such as ticket availability checks, payment processing, and generating tickets. Additionally, the communication interface is responsible for securely transmitting booking information to the subway network, ensuring seamless integration with the overall subway infrastructure.

Abstract:As the consumer enters his/her height and weight the BMI of the person is calculated. If the BMI indicates that the person is fit, then the machine makes an ideal health drink with all nutrient content. If the BMI of the person indicates he/she is skinny or obese the combinations of the drink mixes vary accordingly. Once the BMI is calculated, a pump connected to a water sump is activated and it allows some amount of water to the mixing container. The mixes are allowed to fall through a screw conveyor to maintain constant discharge irrespective of the amount of the mix in the container. The amount of mix to be discharged is controlled by a PLC which is already programmed using Ladder Logics. Timers are used in the program for exact measurement. Then the motors attached to the screw conveyors start working for a certain period of time as programmed and allow the mixes to fall into the mixing container. As soon as the motors complete its rotation, a motor attached to the mixer starts rotating for some time to blend all the ingredients. A solenoid valve that connects the mixing container and the dispensing cup is opened when the mixer completes it's mixing. Then the user can collect the drink. The whole process takes a maximum time of 3 minutes approximately.

Abstract:In recent years, there have been several breakthroughs in the theoretical research of servo control algorithms. However most of these control algorithms remain in the simulation stage. They are difficult to be applied directly to practical platforms or complex industrial sites because of the lack of an experimental system suitable for the verification of their effectiveness. To address this problem, we designed a multi-function servo control algorithm verification experiment system (MVES) within the MATLAB/Simulink theoretical simulation model directly to communicate with the TwinCAT 3 PLC master program to perform different servo control experiments. The MVES supports various Simulink models. However, its and the operation is simple and convenient, which greatly reduces the workload of the algorithm test and has important practical value. Two sets of comparative experiments were used to verify the versatility and superiority of MVES.

This project presents a machine designed with android app to provide such healthcare at areas where having a medical store. It allows the user to select a medicine, pay the required amount after which it verifies the amount received and dispenses the medicine. By relieving small symptoms at work, it can eliminate both present and absent in the workplace. It can also reduce the current cost of open medicine cabinets. By being at the counter vending machine in the workplace, those working without clinics or pharmacies can benefit from increased work efficiency and avoid underperforming sick employees. It allows the user to select a medicine, pay the required amount via online transactions and dispenses the medicine according to the symptoms which is already stored in the database of the machine. This prevents wasting hours in clinics for trivial problems like colds and headaches. This condition is particularly aggravated when a place suffers from a localized epidemic or epidemic.

Abstract:Electronic circuits design is extremely important in information processing or communication systems. Classical design method of electronic circuit is manual programming. The cost of design and test is usually expensive, especially for large scale or complicated circuits. In this paper, hardware circuit is designed by formal method. Behavior of the circuit is described by multiple extended hierarchical finite automata(EHFA) that execute in parallel. The correctness of the system can be verified by simulation. Then, the formal model is converted into VHDL automatically. Finally get the real circuit. The advantages of the method make it easier to simulate functional design and verify critical performance. As a practical application, the Multifunction Vehicle Bus (MVB) circuit is codesigned, which illustrate the practicality of this method.

Abstract:Abstract: This paper describes the design of any time medicine vending machine as a health device for the purpose of person who in need of medicines and its assistance. This device mainly consists of a card reader and the dispenser which comprises the automatic medicine vending machine through the dispenser as per the doctor’s e-prescription updated into smart card. This vending machine is controlled by the Arduino board which is a single board computer and it can be aspect from online portal for the need person to check his e-prescription and the doctor to generate or update the prescription. When the patient swipes his smart card into the card reader, this device dispenses out the prescribed medicine for the need person only when the user credentials of the patient is validated from the e-prescription. The online portal is made on a telegram and connected to the same user credentials, and even though the patient can view his details and the prescription by logging in with are credentials into the same web page

Abstract:Abstract: This paper presents a pioneering approach to enhance the efficiency of automated coffee and tea brewing systems through the integration of an ASIC-GDSII and FPGA validation. Leveraging the power of 45nm CMOS Technology, the design achieves substantial reductions in area, power consumption, and delay. The Verilog HDL code undergoes meticulous verification using Cadence tools like Genus and Innovus, ensuring optimal design performance. Innovus validates timing constraints, ensuring adherence to acceptable delay parameters. The resulting compact design not only minimizes power consumption but also effectively addresses leakage issues. These comprehensive optimizations meet stringent performance, area, and power requirements, elevating the operational efficiency of automated brewing systems. Furthermore, the control algorithm is synthesized and implemented using Xilinx's ISE Design Suite, followed by validation on SPARTAN 6 FPGA, providing invaluable insights for future synthesis and implementation endeavors.
