Empirical Analysis on Impacts of Green Barriers on China's Toy Export

Abstract:This paper chooses the panel data of six major toys trade partners from 1996 to 2010 in China,and uses individual fixed effect variable intercept model to analyze the real impact on China's toy exports.The result shows that the green trade barriers have significantly negative effects on China's toy exports under the control of the trade partners' domestic demand,bilateral real exchange rate,China's domestic product standard,the export tax rebate rate,and other important variables.According to the empirical conclusions,the paper proposes some relevant suggestions to avoid green trade barriers and to maintain and develop the comparative advantage of toy product.
