Abstract:With the increasing awareness of global protection, green trade barriers have gradually become a factor that cannot be ignored in international trade. This paper aims to discuss the impact of green trade barriers on China's exports, and put forward corresponding countermeasures. The paper first summarizes the definition, development process and main characteristics of green trade barriers, then analyzes their impact on China's export, and finally puts forward countermeasures from the two levels of government and enterprises.

Abstract:With the development of world economic globalization, China has been deeply integrated into the global economy. At the same time, with the increasing improvement of China's world economic level, the environmental problems caused by economic development are becoming more and more serious, followed by a new type of non-tariff trade barriers, that is, the formation of green trade barriers. At this stage, the serious impact of green trade barriers on China's foreign trade has greatly restricted the development of China's foreign trade. This paper briefly introduces the rise, performance and causes of green trade barriers, mainly introduces the impact of green trade barriers on China's foreign trade, and expounds the countermeasures to actively deal with green trade barriers.

Abstract:Green barrier is a combined result of trade protectionism and environment protectionism. Compared with other trade barriers,green barrier is characterized by concealment,correlation and effectiveness. Green barrier has significant impacts on China's sustainable development strategies,coordinated development of economy and environment,improvement of products quality and safety. However,most impacts of green barriers on China's agricultural product export trade are negative,involving almost every field of China's foreign trade. In this competitive age emphasizing environmental protection,China should take the issue serious,handle the difficulties,improve people's awareness of environmental protection,improve product standards,develop export-oriented agricultural economy,to narrow the gap between China and the developed countries. Meanwhile,China should cooperate with the developed countries to reach common understanding and decrease conflictions to find a feasible way for the coordinated development of China's trade and environment. Green barrier should be used to realize the sustainable development strategies of China's economy.

Abstract:Economic globalization and trade liberalization call for an elimination of tariff wall. With an increasing awareness of environment protection, one new non-tariff trade barrier, green barrier, emerged. In the paper, the development of green-barrier to trade and its influences on the export of farm produce of China are introduced and deep institutional reasons for green-barriers inflicted on farm produce in China are analyzed. Finally, it is held that a series of institutional policies should be improved to develop China’s green-agriculture and overcome the green barriers.

Abstract:This paper has used the data of Chinese agricultural exports from Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, the United States, Canada and Mexico from 2002 to 2016. These countries represented as the three major free trade zones to conduct empirical research. I am using the gravity model to carry out the regression analysis of variables. And then I test to examine the impact of green trade barriers on Chinese agricultural exports. The empirical results showed that green trade barriers do hinder agricultural exports in the short run, but green trade barriers have a positive effect on exports in the long run. Finally I based on the analysis of this paper to propose a series of countermeasures to deal with green trade barriers.

Abstract:This paper focuses on discussing the influences that green trade barriers played on the aquatic exports.At the beginning,the paper illustrates the causes,manifestations,features of green barriers,expecting to have an overall and systematic understanding of the dual influences and the forming mechanism on exports from the green trade barriers.Then,the paper,based on the analysis of specific data and cases,analyzes the distinct influences that green trade barriers have brought to the aquatic exports in Zhejiang Province.The paper,using the qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis,general analysis and case analysis,specifically discusses the green barrier's short term inhibitory effects played in the export increases and export advantage of aquatic trade.The gravitation model and the specific data have been used to carry on the quantitative analysis.While proving the negative influences of green barrier,the paper emphasizes its promoter actions,which are the medium and long term promotion effects.The suggestions,which is standardization,industrialization,greenization,are devoted to take advantages of the long-term promotions to further promote the exports of aquatic products

Abstract:Agriculture is an important part of economic development. At present, China is deeply affected by green trade barriers, which seriously hinders the development of agriculture. Hebei Province has a huge grain output. Taking Hebei Province as an example, this paper discusses the impact of green trade barriers on the export of agricultural products, and finds solutions. Based on data analysis technology, this paper makes an empirical analysis. It is found that the symbol of the strictness of implementing green trade barriers is consistent with the anticipated symbol, which is passive in the brief term and optimistic in the extended term. Therefore, in the brief term, the implementation of green trade barriers will lessen the export quantity of farming products and raise the sell abroad price. In the extended run, the implementation of green trade obstacle will promote scientific and technological progress, increase the sell abroad quantity of agricultural products and expand diversified markets. Finally, the countermeasures of agricultural products export against green trade barriers are put forward from both government and enterprises.

Abstract:As an agricultural country, the export of China's agricultural products are often suffered the restrictions from the green barriers. The positive green barriers can regulate the agricultural production in China, and promote the agricultural development and international trade; on the other hand, the negative green barriers would increase the cost of trade, trade friction, and prevent the development of international trade. So the research of influence of green barriers on China’s agricultural products is very realistic. According to the influence of green barriers on China’s agricultural exports, the corresponding countermeasures can be made to deal with the green barriers and improvement of China’s competitiveness in the international competition. This study examines the causes, influences and methods of green barriers on China’s agricultural products export based on the questionnaires of 200 staffs of agricultural trade companies in Xi’an of Shaanxi province in China. To address this issue, Partial Least Square method is applied and the empirical result shows that there is a positive and significant effect from causes, influences, and methods towards the China’s agricultural products export.

Abstract:With the increasingly active global economic and trade activities, some international trade issues are gradually emerging. At the same time, some countries led by the United States vigorously promote unilateral trade, which has led to the emergence of traditional trade protectionism. Some developed countries, citing the protection of their own trade, set high standards and thresholds for imported products, Furthermore, green trade barriers have emerged in the process of international trade. This article explores the example of Heilongjiang exporting pork, explains and analyzes the connotation and characteristics of green trade barriers, and proposes some suggestions and countermeasures to deal with green trade barriers based on the current status of green trade barriers.

Abstract:With the increasing agricultural trade disputes with the developed countries, China's exports have more constrained by Green-trade barriers. The vegetables are the most effected agricultural products by the technical standards of residue (Chlorpyrifos MRL). The study estimated the impact levels of Green-trade barriers to China's vegetable export by using a gravity model panel data to be assessed through targeted 18 major countries and regions of China vegetable export in regression analyses. The results showed that the technical standards imposed by importing countries had both negative and positive effect on China's Vegetable export. It should decrease the quantities of export. It could also increase the export price and increase the export amount. Finally, gave conclusion and out forward policy implications.

As emerging non-tariff barriers, green barriers have become a new stumbling block to agricultural product export and maritime transport in China. In this thesis, the SPS (Agreementon the Application of Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures) notified numbers are selected as a measurement index of green barriers to study its trade effect on China's agricultural product export. Research finds that in the current period and the third year, green barriers have a positive effect on the agricultural product export in China and that in the third year, they have a positive market diversion effect on the agricultural product export in China, which enables China's agricultural products to increase their market shares in other countries. Due to the fact that the period from notification to implementation of SPS takes seven to eight months, and that at the same time, the cycle of production adjustment of agricultural products is relatively long, green barriers do not take positive effect until the third year arrives on agricultural product export and maritime transport.

Empirical Analysis on Impacts of Green Barriers on China's Toy Export

Abstract:This paper chooses the panel data of six major toys trade partners from 1996 to 2010 in China,and uses individual fixed effect variable intercept model to analyze the real impact on China's toy exports.The result shows that the green trade barriers have significantly negative effects on China's toy exports under the control of the trade partners' domestic demand,bilateral real exchange rate,China's domestic product standard,the export tax rebate rate,and other important variables.According to the empirical conclusions,the paper proposes some relevant suggestions to avoid green trade barriers and to maintain and develop the comparative advantage of toy product.
