Abstract:The description of space-time in a quantum theoretical framework must be considered as a fundamental problem in physics. Most attempts start with an already given classical space-time - then the quantization is done. In contrast to this the central assumption in this paper is not to start with space-time, but to derive it from some more abstract presuppositions like this is done in von Weizsaecker's "quantum theory of ur-alternatives". Mathematically the transition from a manifold with spin structure to a manifold with four real space-time coordinates has to be considered. The suggestion is made that this transition can be well described by using a tetradial formalism which appears to be the most natural connection between ur-spinors and real four-vectors.

Abstract:We want to correct the misunderstandings on the tetrad (or veilbeins in general) appeared in many text books or review articles. The tetrad should be defined without any condition. $e_{\mu a}=\partial_\mu X_a$ with local Lorentz coordinates $X_a$ ia wrong in many sences: it gives the condition $\partial_\mu e_{\nu a}=\partial_\nu e_{\mu a}$, which leads us to the trivial result that the cyclic coefficients vanish identically and to the null Riemannian tensor. Also $e_{\mu a}e_\nu^a=g_{\mu\nu}$ is not scalar under the local Lorentz transformation etc. We show how these deficits are remedied by the correct definition, $e_{\mu a}=D_\mu Z_a$ with local (Anti) de Sitter coordinates $Z_A$.

Geometrisation of Fermions in Flat Spacetimes

Abstract:Requiring physical consistency in a classical flat spacetime geometrisation of fermions is shown to suggest the introduction of torsion. A resulting simple model for that torsion produces a localised quantum-like particle as a solution of a spinor identity that closely resembles the Dirac equation of quantum electrodynamics. All relevant integrals involving solutions of the spinor identity converge and require that the spin, which is no longer intrinsic but arises from circulating currents, be 1/2 whilst the magnetic moment takes the quantum value of 1 magneton, characteristic of an isolated Dirac particle. The underlying torsion associates the otherwise strictly localised particle with an extended spacetime structure that may be relevant to wider quantum phenomena.

Abstract:The question is considered as to whether complete rotational symmetry in isotopic spin space is necessary. In particular, the classification of elementary particles on the basis of the representations of a finite group is attempted. It is found that for the particles whose reactions are known, the law of conservation of charge results in a scheme essentially equivalent with ones previously proposed. However, some additional freedom is found which would accommodate particles with rather unusual properties if such are ever observed.

Abstract:We considered Weinberg-like equations in the article (Dvoeglazov Rev. Mex. Fis. 65 , 612 2019) in order to construct the Feynman-Dyson propagator for the spin-1 particles. This construction is based on the concept of the Weinberg field as a system of four field functions differing by parity and by dual transformations. We also analyzed the recent controversy in the definitions of the Feynman-Dyson propagator for the field operator containing the self/anti-self charge conjugate states in the papers by Ahluwalia and Ernst (Int. J. Mod. Phys. E 2 , 397 1993), Ahluwalia et al. (Phys. Lett. B 687 , 248 2010), Ahluwalia (Phys. Rev. D 83 , 065017 2011) and by Rodrigues Jr et al. (Phys. Rev. D 86 , 128501 2012), Rodrigues Jr (2013), Rodrigues Jr (2012), Rodrigues Jr et al. (2014). The solution to this mathematical controversy is obvious. I proposed the necessary doubling of the Fock Space (as in the Barut and Ziino works), thus extending the corresponding Clifford Algebra. However, the logical interrelations of different mathematical foundations with physical interpretations are not so obvious. In this work we present some insights with respect to this for spin 1/2 and 1. Meanwhile, the N. Debergh et al article considered our old ideas of doubling the Dirac equation, and other forms of T- and PT-conjugation (Debergh et al. 2018). Both algebraic equation and for and 4-spinors have solutions with . The same is true for higher-spin equations (or they may even have more complicated dispersion relations). Meanwhile, every book considers the equality for both and spinors of the representation only, thus applying the Dirac-Feynman-Stueckelberg procedure for elimination of negative-energy solutions. The Fock space can be doubled on the quantum-field (QFT) level. In this article we give additional bases for the development of the correct theory of higher spin particles in QFT. It seems, that it is imposible to consider the relativistic quantum mechanics appropriately without negative energies, tachyons and appropriate forms of the discrete symmetries, and their actions on the corresponding physical states.

Abstract:A certain two-dimensional supersymmetric gauge theory is argued to satisfy a relation that promotes the Zamolodchikov tetrahedron equation to an infrared duality between two quantum field theories. Solutions of the tetrahedron equation with continuous spin variables are obtained from partition functions of this theory and its variants.

Abstract:This note supplements a recent article in which it was pointed out that the observed spectrum of quarks and leptons can arise as quasi-particle excitations in a discrete internal space. The paper concentrated on internal vibrational modes and it was only noted in the end that internal spin waves ('mignons') might do the same job. Here it will be shown how the mignon-mechanism works in detail. In particular the Shubnikov group $A_4 + S (S_4 - A_4)$ will be used to describe the spectrum, and the mignetic ground state is explicitly given.

Complexified spinor fields in operator form

Abstract:The formalism of quantum field theory in operator form, based on the anti self-adjoint operators of the imaginary coordinate and momentum and the self-adjoint operators of the real coordinate, momentum, energy and time, is used in considerations of the spinor fields and related topics. The unitary representation of the Lorentz boosts in the spin-orbital space is given. The operators that mirror-reflect the spin are introduced and then used in discussion of the spin parity. The conclusion that the spin is odd is used in the analyze of the parity violation in the cobalt-60 beta decay and it is found that the parity is not broken. The explanation why there are only right-handed antineutrinos and left-handed neutrinos is offered on the basis of appropriate treatment of the influence of spin on momentum. The inversion of time is treated within the framework of the operators of time and energy and this symmetry is represented in a way that respects the Schrödinger equation and this is done by the Wick rotations of involved operators and vectors of the complexified formalism.

Abstract:In physics, spin is often seen exclusively through the lens of its phenomenological character: as an intrinsic form of angular momentum. However, there is mounting evidence that spin fundamentally originates as a quality of geometry, not of dynamics, and recent work further suggests that the structure of non-relativistic Euclidean three-space is sufficient to define it. In this paper, we directly explicate this fundamentally non-relativistic, geometric nature of spin by constructing non-commutative algebras of position operators which subsume the structure of an arbitrary spin system. These "Spin- s Position Algebras" are defined by elementary means and from the properties of Euclidean three-space alone, and constitute a fundamentally new model for quantum mechanical systems with non-zero spin, within which neither position and spin degrees of freedom, nor position degrees of freedom within themselves, commute. This reveals that the observables of a system with spin can be described completely geometrically as tensors of oriented planar elements, and that the presence of non-zero spin in a system naturally generates a non-commutative geometry within it. We will also discuss the potential for the Spin- s Position Algebras to form the foundation for a generalisation to arbitrary spin of the Clifford and Duffin–Kemmer–Petiau algebras.

Abstract:To incorporate quantum nonlocality into general relativity, we propose that the preparation and measurement of a quantum system are simultaneous events. To make progress in realizing this proposal, we introduce a spacetime geometry that is endowed with particles which have no distinct points in their worldlines; we call these particles 'pointons'. This new geometry recently arose in nonnoetherian algebraic geometry. We show that on such a spacetime, metrics are degenerate and tangent spaces have variable dimension. This variability then implies that pointons are spin-$\tfrac 12$ fermions that satisfy the Born rule, where a projective measurement of spin corresponds to an actual projection of tangent spaces of different dimensions. Furthermore, the $4$-velocities of pointons are necessarily replaced by their Hodge duals, and this transfer from vector to pseudo-tensor introduces a free choice of orientation that we identify with electric charge. Finally, a simple composite model of electrons and photons results from the metric degeneracy, and from this we obtain a new ontological model of photon polarization.

Abstract:Linac-ring analogues of the LHC and VLHC based standard type ep collider proposals are discussed. It is shown that sufficiently high luminosities can be obtained with TESLA-like linacs, whereas essential modifications are required for CLIC technology. The physics search potential of proposed ep colliders is demonstrated using pair production of heavy quarks as an example.

Abstract:A novel approach is introduced for obtaining precise solutions of the pairing Hamiltonian for tetraquarks, which utilizes an algebraic technique in infinite dimensions. The parameters involved in the transition phase are calibrated based on potential tetraquark candidates derived from phenomenology. Our investigation shows that the rotation and vibration transitional theory delivers a more accurate explanation for heavy tetraquarks compared to other methods utilizing the same formalism. To illustrate the concept, we compute the spectra of several tetraquarks, namely charm, bottom, bottom-charm and open charm and bottom systems, and contrast them with those of other particles.

Abstract:In this study, we present a model for the behavior of Dirac particles under the tensor effect in the spherical core/shell regime. We examine the change of energy levels corresponding to the particles localized in a space of approximately 1.0 fm in the core region of the quantum sphere, with the well width. It also occurs from the analytical solutions that the two different levels accompany particle states of the same mass. Additionally, the solutions exhibiting anomalous behavior, giving rise to antiparticle-type states, occur at heavier mass.

Abstract:The standard Bloch sphere representation was recently generalized to the 'extended Bloch representation' describing not only systems of arbitrary dimension, but also their measurements. This model solves the measurement problem and is based on the 'hidden-measurement interpretation', according to which the Born rule results from our lack of knowledge about the interaction between measuring apparatus and the measured entity. We present here the extended Bloch model and use it to investigate the nature of quantum spin and its relation to our Euclidean space. We show that spin eigenstates cannot generally be associated with directions in the Euclidean space, but only with generalized directions in the Blochean space, which generally is a space of higher dimension. Hence, spin entities have to be considered as genuine non-spatial entities. We also show, however, that specific vectors can be identified in the Blochean theater that are isomorphic to the Euclidean space directions, and therefore representative of them, and that spin eigenstates always have a predetermined orientation with respect to them. We use the details of our results to put forward a new view of realism, that we call 'multiplex realism', providing a specific framework with which to interpret the human observations and understanding of the component parts of the world. Elements of reality can be represented in different theaters, one being our customary Euclidean space, and another one the quantum realm, revealed to us through our sophisticated experiments, whose elements of reality, in the quantum jargon, are the eigenvalues and eigenstates. Our understanding of the component parts of the world can then be guided by looking for the possible connections, in the form of partial morphisms, between the different representations, which is precisely what we do in this article with regard to spin entities.
