Abstract:In this paper, we investigate the behavior of the bounds of the composition for rough singular integral operators on the weighted space. More precisely, we obtain the quantitative weighted bounds of the composite operator for two singular integral operators with rough homogeneous kernels on $L^p(\mathbb{R}^d,\,w)$, $p\in (1,\,\infty)$, which is smaller than the product of the quantitative weighted bounds for these two rough singular integral operators. Moreover, at the endpoint $p=1$, the $L\log L$ weighted weak type bound is also obtained, which has interests of its own in the theory of rough singular integral even in the unweighted case.

Abstract:The authors study the singular integral operator T_Ω ,α f(x) = p.v.∫_R^n b(| y |)Ω (y')| y |^ - n - α f(x - y)dy, defined on all test functions f , where b is a bounded function, a >0, Θ ( y ′) is an integrable function on the unit sphere S n −1 satisfying certain cancellation conditions. It is proved that, for n /( n+a )< p <∞, T Ω,α is a bounded operator from the Hardy-Sobolev space H a p to the Hardy space H p . The results and its applications improve some theorems in a previous paper of the author and they are extensions of the main theorems in Wheeden’s paper (1969). The proof is based on a new atomic decomposition of the space H a p by Han, Paluszynski and Weiss(1995). By using the same proof, the singular integral operators with variable kernels are also studied.

Abstract:We consider the quasilinear degenerate elliptic equation with rough and singular coefficients of the form div( A(x,u,∇ u)) = B(x,u,∇ u) in an open set Ω⊂ℝ^n, where the quadratic form associated with the principle part of this equation allows vanishing and the coefficients in structural conditions on A(x,u,∇ u) and B(x,u,∇ u) require no smoothness but belong to some Stummel–Kato class. We prove a Fefferman–Phong type inequality related to the Stummel–Kato class and then an embedding inequality. Based on these inequalities, the local boundedness and Harnack’s inequality of the weak solutions are derived. As applications, the continuity and Hölder continuity for the nonnegative weak solutions are given.

Abstract:In this paper, we establish a weak-type (1,1) boundedness criterion for vector-valued singular integral operators with rough kernels. As applications, we obtain weak-type (1,1) bounds for the convolution singular integral operator taking value in the Banach space Y with a rough kernel, the maximal operator taking vector value in Y with a rough kernel and several square functions with rough kernels. Here, Y=[H,X]theta$Y=[H,X]_\theta$ is a complex interpolation space between a Hilbert space H and a UMD space X.

Abstract:Let Ω be a function of homogeneous of degree zero and vanish on the unit sphere Sn−1. In this paper, we investigate the limiting weak-type behavior for singular integral operator TΩ associated with rough kernel Ω. We show that, if Ω ∈ L logL(Sn−1), then lim λ→0+ λ|{x ∈ R : |TΩ(f)(x)| > λ}| = n‖Ω‖L1(Sn−1)‖f‖L1(Rn), 0 ≤ f ∈ L(R). Moreover, n‖Ω‖L1(Sn−1) is a lower bound of weak-type norm of TΩ when Ω ∈ L logL(Sn−1). Corresponding results for rough bilinear singular integral operators defined in the form T~ Ω(f1, f2) = TΩ1(f1) · TΩ2(f2) have also been established.
