Abstract:For a finite $\mathbb{Z}$-algebra $R$, i.e., for a ring which is not necessarily associative or unitary, but whose additive group is finitely generated, we construct a decomposition of $R/{\rm Ann}(R)$ into directly indecomposable factors under weak hypotheses. The method is based on constructing and decomposing a ring of scalars $S$, and then lifting the decomposition of $S$ to the bilinear map given by the multiplication of $R$, and finally to $R/{\rm Ann}(R)$. All steps of the construction are given as explicit algorithms and it is shown that the entire procedure has a probabilistic polynomial time complexity in the bit size of the input, except for the possible need to calculate the prime factorization of one integer. In particular, in the case when ${\rm Ann}(R) = 0$, these algorithms compute a direct decomposition of $R$ into directly indecomposable factors.

Abstract:General theory determines the notion of separable MV-algebra (equivalently, of separable unital lattice-ordered Abelian group). We establish the following structure theorem: An MV-algebra is separable if, and only if, it is a finite product of algebras of rational numbers, i.e., of subalgebras of the MV-algebra $[0,1]\cap\mathbb{Q}$. Beyond its intrinsic algebraic interest, this research is motivated by the long-term programme of developing the algebraic geometry of the opposite of the categroy of MV-algebras, in analogy with the classical case of commutative $K$-algebras over a field $K$.

Abstract:Here we announce the construction and properties of a big commutative subalgebra of the Kirillov algebra attached to a finite dimensional irreducible representation of a complex semisimple Lie group. They are commutative finite flat algebras over the cohomology of the classifying space of the group. They are isomorphic with the equivariant intersection cohomology of affine Schubert varieties, endowing them with a new ring structure. Study of the finer aspects of the structure of the big algebras will also furnish the stalks of the intersection cohomology with ring structure, thus ringifying Lusztig's q-weight multiplicity polynomials i.e. affine Kazhdan-Lusztig polynomials.

Abstract:We introduce the concept of a quasiresiduated lattice and prove that every lattice effect algebra can be organized into a commutative quasiresiduated lattice with divisibility. Also conversely, every such a lattice can be converted into a lattice effect algebra and every lattice effct algebra can be reconstructed form its assigned quasiresiduated lattice. We apply this method also for lattice pseudoeffect algebras introduced recently by Dvurecenskij and Vetterlein. We show that every good lattice pseudoeffect algebra can be organized into a (possibly non-commutative) quasiresiduated lattice with divisibility and conversely, every such a lattice can be converted into a lattice pseudoeffect algebra. Moreover, also a good lattice pseudoeffect algebra can be reconstructed from the assigned quasiresiduated lattice.

Abstract:-algebra is a natural generalization of Heyting algebra, unifying many algebraic structures including bounded lattices, Heyting algebras, temporal Heyting algebras and the algebraic presentation of the dynamic topological systems. In a series of two papers, we will systematically study the algebro-topological properties of different varieties of -algebras. In the present paper, we start with investigating the structure of these varieties by characterizing their subdirectly irreducible and simple elements. Then, we prove the closure of these varieties under the Dedekind-MacNeille completion and provide the canonical construction and the Kripke representation for -algebras by which we establish the amalgamation property for some varieties of -algebras. In the sequel of the present paper, we will complete the study by covering the logics of these varieties and their corresponding Priestley-Esakia and spectral duality theories.

Non-commutative factorizations and finite-dimensional representations of free algebras

Abstract:A very first step to develop non-commutative algebraic geometry is the arithmetic of polynomials in non-commuting variables over a commutative field, that is, the study of elements in free associative algebras. This investigation is presented as a natural extension of the classical theory in one variable by using Leavitt algebras, which are localizations of free algebras with respect to the Gabriel topology defined by an ideal of codimension 1. In particular to any polynomial in n non-commuting variables with non-zero constant term we associate a finite-dimensional module over the free algebra of rank n, which turns out to be simple if and only if the polynomial is irreducible. This approach leads to new insights in the study of the factorization of polynomials into irreducible ones and other related topics, such as an algorithm to divide polynomials or to compute the greatest common divisor between them, or a description of similar polynomials. The case of polynomials with zero constant term reduces to an open question whether the intersection of nonunital subalgebras of codimension 1 in a free associative algebra is trivial, that is, 0.

Abstract:First, we prove an algebraization result for rig-smooth algebras over a general noetherian ring; this positively answers the question raised in [Sta24, Tag 0GAX]. Then we prove a general partial algebraization result in non-archimedean geometry. The result says that we can always algebraize a geometrically reduced affinoid rigid-analytic space in "one direction" in an appropriate sense. As an application of this result, we show the remaining cases of the Artin-Grothendieck Vanishing for affinoid algebras, which were previously conjectured in [BM21, §7]. This allows us to deduce a stronger version of the rigid-analytic Artin-Grothendieck Vanishing Conjecture (see [Han20, Conj. 1.2]) over a field of characteristic 0. Using a completely different set of ideas, we also obtain a weaker version of this conjecture over a field of characteristic p>0.

Abstract:We show that the relative Farrell-Jones assembly map from the family of finite subgroups to the family of virtually cyclic subgroups for algebraic K-theory is split injective in the setting where the coefficients are additive categories with group action. This generalizes a result of Bartels for rings as coefficients. We give an explicit description of the relative term. This enables us to show that it vanishes rationally if we take coefficients in a regular ring. Moreover, it is, considered as a Z[Z/2]-module by the involution coming from taking dual modules, an extended module and in particular all its Tate cohomology groups vanish, provided that the infinite virtually cyclic subgroups of type I of G are orientable. The latter condition is for instance satisfied for torsionfree hyperbolic groups.

Abstract:We introduce a property weaker than congruence-permutability and show that every d -algebra has this property. We also show that in general d -algebras are not congruence-permutable, and that a sufficient condition for a d -algebra to be congruence-permutable is being directed. However this condition is not necessary.

Equivalence of $v$-decomposition matrices for blocks of Ariki-Koike algebras

Abstract:We consider the representation theory of the Ariki-Koike algebra, a $q$-deformation of the group algebra of the complex reflection group $C_r \wr \mathfrak{S}_n$. We examine blocks of the Ariki-Koike algebra. In particular, we prove a sufficient condition such that restriction of modules leads to a natural correspondence between the multipartitions of $n$ whose Specht modules belong to a block $B$ and those of $n-\delta_i(B)$ whose Specht modules belong to the block $B'$, obtained from $B$ applying a Scopes' equivalence. This bijection gives us an equivalence for the $v$-decomposition numbers of the Ariki-Koike algebras.

Abstract:We introduce the notion of an anti-dendriform algebra as a new approach of splitting the associativity. It is characterized as the algebra with two multiplications giving their left and right multiplication operators, respectively, such that the opposites of these operators define a bimodule structure on the sum of these two multiplications, which is associative. This justifies the terminology due to a closely analogous characterization of a dendriform algebra. The notions of anti- -operators and anti-Rota–Baxter operators on associative algebras are introduced to interpret anti-dendriform algebras. In particular, there are compatible anti-dendriform algebra structures on associative algebras with nondegenerate commutative Connes cocycles. There is an important observation that there are correspondences between certain subclasses of dendriform and anti-dendriform algebras in terms of q -algebras. As a direct consequence, we give the notion of Novikov-type dendriform algebras as an analogue of Novikov algebras for dendriform algebras, whose relationship with Novikov algebras is consistent with the one between dendriform and pre-Lie algebras. Finally, we extend to provide a general framework of introducing the notions of analogues of anti-dendriform algebras, which interprets a new splitting of operations.

Abstract:We study the concept of extended derivations of algebras which expands diverse definitions of generalized derivations given in the literature. We concentrate on the family of the anti-commutative algebras and classify such spaces of derivations by considering a suitable notion of equivalence when we restrict attention to such algebras. Afterwards, we investigate a link between the well-known $(\alpha,\beta,\gamma)$-derivations and some new extended derivations obtained in the above-mentioned classification. Finally, we present applications of extended derivations to study degenerations of algebras.

Abstract:We study Lie-Rinehart algebra structures in the framework provided by a duality pairing of modules over a unital commutative associative algebra. Thus, we construct examples of Lie brackets corresponding to a fixed anchor map whose image is a cyclic submodule of the derivation module, and therefore we call them cyclic Lie-Rinehart algebras. In a very special case of our construction, these brackets turn out to be related to certain differential operators that occur in mathematical physics.

On the cancellation problem for L-algebras

Abstract:In this paper, we consider the cancellation problem for the cartesian product of L-algebras. Firstly, we show that L-algebras with prime element 0 and L-algebras satisfying the condition (C) are cancellable. Furthermore, we also prove that the wedge-sum of cancellable L-algebras is cancellable and each L-algebra can be embedded into a cancellable L-algebra. Finally, we give a class of L-algebras satisfying the cancellation law which is different from the above L-algebras.

Abstract:In this paper, we first define the pre-Lie family algebra associated to a dendriform family algebra in the case of a commutative semigroup. Then we construct a pre-Lie family algebra via typed decorated rooted trees, and we prove the freeness of this pre-Lie family algebra. We also construct pre-Lie family operad in terms of typed labeled rooted trees, and we obtain that the operad of pre-Lie family algebras is isomorphic to the operad of typed labeled rooted trees, which generalizes the result of F. Chapoton and M. Livernet. In the end, we construct Zinbiel and pre-Poisson family algebras and generalize results of M. Aguiar.
