Research and Development, Market and Application on Membrane Separation Technology in China

Abstract:is currently Professor from 2000. He received his BS and MS degree at Nanjing University of Chemical Technology in 1983 and 1986, respectively, and his PhD at The University of Tokyo in 1995. He was a research associate at The University of Tokyo from 1995 to 1997, and an associate professor then professor at Nanjing University of Technology from 1997 to 2000. Dr. WANG ’ s present research includes the transport mechanism and evaluation of various membranes applied in pressure-driven or elec-tro-driven processes, the integration and optimization of the membrane processes, the design of the membrane materials and structure, the preparation and modification of the microporous membranes. Dr. WANG published over 200 papers, is an author of 1 book and 5 book chapters, and owns 18 patents. He is the deputy chairman editor of Membrane Science and Technology (Chinese), the standing editor of Water Treatment Technology (Chinese) and the deputy director of Division of Membrane Engineering & Application, Membrane Industry Association of China. Ye TIAN is a research associate at Tsinghua University, China. He received his BS and MS in Chemical Engineering and Technology from Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing, China. Cong – Hui TU is a PhD candidate at Tsinghua University, China. She received her BS and MS in Chemical Engineering from Tsinghua University, China.
