Abstract:Ouyang Xiu is a distinguished poet in the evolution of Ci, who carried forward the songs into the future. On the basis of Tang Wudai Dynasty Ci, he brought forth new changes in artistic conception, content as well as format, which hewed a path for Ci development since North and South Song Dynasty. The impact pushed the emergence of a set of songs(GuZi Ci) and Man Ci. Ouyang Xiu manifested his recreational life and genuine emotions by Ci with a varying but natural and passionate style which ranked the top in the songs arena of North Song Dynasty.

Abstract:Huang Cao Uprising in the late of Tang Dynasty and Li Zicheng Uprising in the late of Ming Dynasty are the peasant wars which captured the regime as violent storm with great features in Chinese history.In the wars,the peasant army,taking the roving bandits thinking of long-range raid,looting of property and abducting soldiers as the starting point,and taking leaving some cities non-attacked,leaving some lands non-captured and occupying the Capital City with the concentrating power as the aim,and fully using the inner contradictions of the old Government,overthrowed the old Dynasty depand on the broad masses of peasants.After the establishing of the regime,the corruption of the leaders of the peasant army,the shortage of talents,the misplay of policies,the counterattack of the remnants of the old Dynasty and the invasion of the foreign enemy who peeked Central Plains for a long time led in the quick demise of the new regime.From the similar background,thinking,progress and result,can see the influence of Huang Cao Uprising on Li Zicheng Uprising.

On the Writing of Yuefu Poems by Cao Cao

Abstract:The primary content of this paper is about why and how Cao Chao wrote current affairs with the old Yuefu titles, and this author thinks that the study of Yuefu poems must be carried out in relation to the Yuefu system and its functions. The singing and performance of Yuefu in the royal court and commonality in the Eastern Han Dynasties has a direct influence on the writing pattern of Yuefu by literate writers in the period of Jian’an. The Yuefu poem writing of Cao Chao is relevant to the Yuefu system in title, writing and popularization. Reform made by Cao Chao to write current affairs with old titles is naturally related to the destruction of Yuefu system and the dispersion of musicians in the late period of Han Dynasties, but his writing does not deviate from the Yuefu system. A study of the Yuefu poems of Cao Chao must be based on this knowledge .The background and reasons of the artistic achievements of the literate writer’s Yuefu poems in the Jian’an period can therefore be understood.

Abstract:Generally,the male characters in Cao Yu's plays can be divided into two types: the coward-type son and the authority-type father.The contrast of the strong and the weak makes the conflict between father and son who are antagonistic to each other lack a tension of struggle.Therefore,the " father and son conflict " in Cao Yu's plays fails to take shape all the time.This writing inclination of Cao Yu is related to his individual character,the family environment, his childhood and the national cultural psychology.For Cao Yu,his creation may be unable to surmount his own emotional experience.

Abstract:Song Lian was born in the late Yuan dynasty in the Wu zhou prefecture, which was distinguished by Neo-Confucians as ″Little Zou-Lu ″, referring to the native places of Mencius and Confucius respectively. His te achers, like Huang Jin, Liu Guan and Wu Lai, were all famous Confucian scholars. His failure in the imperial civil examinations, along with the social upheaval and political corruption that characterized his time, caused Song Lian to loose confidence in the Yuan regime. As fate would have it, he united with Zhu Yuanzha ng, expending great effort assisting the latter on the way from the hero of the common people up to the founding emperor of the Ming dynasty. In the early Ming period, Song Lian, receiving a lot of special treatment from Emperor Zhu, wrote quite a few essays in praise of him. No wonder, people today tend to detest him in this regard. However, the other side of the coin is that Song Lian's exceedingly harsh living conditions in the beginning of the Ming dynasty caused a big change in his ment ality and literary creation. Firstly, many of Song's essays prior to the Ming ma de a most telling exposure and scathing criticism of the late Yuan's maladminist ration, malpractice, and ghastly ways of the world. His essays of this nature du ring the early Ming, however, were greatly reduced in number and much less trenc hant. Secondly, Song's essays prior to the Ming were subjective, aggressive, for ceful and unrestrained. But, his essays in the early Ming were chiefly persuasiv e, being solemn and refined in style and mild and reserved in tone. Thirdly, Son g Lian as a minister showed loving concern for those at the bottom of society, a nd he wrote biographies for Li Ge, Du Huan, Li Yi and others, praising their goo d virtue and strong character.

Abstract:Cai Zhengsun was an important poetic commentator of the last stage of the Song Dynasty and the first stage of the Yuan Dynasty, his ShiLin GuangJi was valued. About Cai Zhengsun's life, Guo Shaoyu's Song Shihua Kao told us no more than that he was a student of Xie Fangde. Quan Song Shi includes his two poems only. Cai's poetical theory was only reflected indirectly from the poems and comments of other people elected by him. Few know Tang Song QianJia LianZhu ShiGe 20 volumes edited by Cai Zhengsun, including poems of one thousand poets of the Tang and Song Dynasties, especially the poems of the last stage of the Song Dynasty. On the basis of this book, in the present essay, the author examines and tells Cai Zhengsun's birthday and life, compiles and discusses Cai's 58 poems, researches and comments his poetical theory.
