Following a whistle-blower complaint, an investigation indicated extensive reuse of images and data in this paper [A] from previously published [B]https://doi.org/10.1007/s13369-017-2681-1, [C] https://doi.org/10.1007/s42452-019-1587-9, [D] https://doi.org/10.1016/j.jobe.2019.101003, [E] https://doi.org/10.1016/j.jobe.2020.101522; Specifically, Figure 2 of Paper A are identical to Figure 1 of Paper B and Figure 3 of Paper C; Figure 6 of Paper A is identical to Figure 4 of Paper B; Figure 9 of Paper A is identical to Figure 7 of Paper B; Figure 11 of Paper A is identical to Figure 8 of Paper B, Figure 8 of Paper D and Figure 7 of Paper E; Figure 12 of Paper A is identical to Figure 9 of Paper B; Figure 14 and Figure 15 of Paper A are identical to Figure 13 of Paper B. The corresponding author denies any duplication or falsification and maintains that the data is different.
