Abstract:Notice of Retraction After careful and considered review of the content of this paper by a duly constituted expert committee, this paper has been found to be in violation of IEEE's Publication Principles. A heterogeneous electrocatalytic oxidation method was developed for the treatment of papermaking wastewater. The modified electrode, supported catalyst particles, aeration, current density and so on were investigated. The removal rate of CODCr and color were introduced to evalulate the treating effect. The results showed that The organic pollutants might be degraded or removed efficiently by the heterogeneous electrocatalytic oxidation, Ti/SnO2-Sb2O3-MnO2/PbO2 electrode had excellent electrochemical performance comparing exchanging current density(i0) and oxidative reaction transfer coefficient (β), the best catalysts for the particles was transition metal oxide, aeration made the reaction system in a fluid state, improved the mass transfer rate, and change the corrosion potential of the system. It would imply that the heterogeneous electrocatalytic oxidation process was a promising method for paper-making wastewater.
