Abstract:In the current note, we study Lorentzian para-Kenmotsu (in brief, $LP$-Kenmotsu) manifolds admitting Ricci-Yamabe solitons (RYS) and gradient Ricci-Yamabe soliton (gradient RYS). At last by constructing a 5-dimensional non-trivial example we illustrate our result.

Abstract:In this paper, we consider the solitons to the fully nonlinear type Yamabe flows. We prove that any k-Yamabe soliton with positive k-curvature must have constant σk-curvature on closed locally conformally flat manifolds. We also prove that any quotient Yamabe soliton with positive k and l curvatures must have constantσkσl-curvature on closed locally conformally flat manifolds. Similar results are also proved on compact locally conformally flat manifolds with totally geodesic boundary.

Abstract:In this paper, we aim to investigate the properties of an almost $*$-Ricci-Bourguignon soliton (almost $*-$R-B-S for short) on a Kenmotsu manifold (K-M). We start by proving that if a Kenmotsu manifold (K-M) obeys an almost $*-$R-B-S, then the manifold is $\eta$-Einstein. Furthermore, we establish that if a $(\kappa, -2)'$-nullity distribution, where $\kappa<-1$, has an almost $*$-Ricci-Bourguignon soliton (almost $*-$R-B-S), then the manifold is Ricci flat. Moreover, we establish that if a K-M has almost $*$-Ricci-Bourguignon soliton gradient and the vector field $\xi$ preserves the scalar curvature $r$, then the manifold is an Einstein manifold with a constant scalar curvature given by $r=-n(2n-1)$. Finaly, we have given en example of a almost $*-$R-B-S gradient on the Kenmotsu manifold.

Abstract:In the present paper we study $\eta$-Ricci solitons on Kenmotsu 3-manifolds. Moreover, we consider $\eta$-Ricci solitons on Kenmotsu 3-manifolds with Codazzi type of Ricci tensor and cyclic parallel Ricci tensor. Beside these, we study $\phi$-Ricci symmetric $\eta$-Ricci soliton on Kenmotsu 3-manifolds. Also Kenmotsu 3-manifolds satisfying the curvature condition $R.R=Q(S,R)$ is considered. Finally, an example is constructed to prove the existence of a proper $\eta$-Ricci soliton on a Kenmotsu 3-manifold.

Abstract:This article aims to investigate the characteristics of (alpha, beta) Ricci Yamabe soliton (briefly (alpha, beta) (RYS)) and its spacetime. The inclusion of killing vector field and the Lorentzian metrics make the Ricci-Yamabe soliton richer and interesting. We study the cosmological and dust fluid model on (RYS) equipped with Lorentzian para Sasakian (LPS) spacetime. The cases of eta-parallel Ricci tensor and the Poisson structure have been studied on (RYS) equipped with (LPS) manifold. Gradient (RYS) equipped with (LPS) manifold also reveal. Finally, we establish an example of four-dimensional LP Sasakian manifold (LPS) that satisfy (alpha, beta) (RYS) and some results.

Abstract:In this article, we investigate Ricci solitons occurring on spacelike hypersurfaces of Einstein Lorentzian manifolds. We give the necessary and sufficient conditions for a spacelike hypersurface of a Lorentzian manifold, equipped with a closed conformal timelike vector field ξ ̄, to be a gradient Ricci soliton having its potential function as the inner product of ξ ̄ and the timelike unit normal vector field to the hypersurface. Moreover, when the ambient manifold is Einstein and the hypersurface is compact, we establish that, under certain straightforward conditions, the hypersurface is an extrinsic sphere, that is, a totally umbilical hypersurface with a non-zero constant mean curvature. In particular, if the ambient Lorentzian manifold has a constant sectional curvature, we show that the compact spacelike hypersurface is essentially a round sphere.

Abstract:This paper investigates Ricci solitons on Riemannian hypersurfaces in both Riemannian and Lorentzian manifolds. We provide conditions under which a Riemannian hypersurface, exhibiting specific properties related to a closed conformal vector field of the ambiant manifold, forms a Ricci soliton structure. The characterization involves a delicate balance between geometric quantities and the behavior of the conformal vector field, particularly its tangential component. We extend the analysis to ambient manifolds with constant sectional curvature and establish that, under a simple condition, the hypersurface becomes totally umbilical, implying constant mean curvature and sectional curvature. For compact hypersurfaces, we further characterize the nature of the Ricci soliton.

Ricci--Bourguignon Almost Solitons with Special Potential on Sasaki-like Almost Contact Complex Riemannian Manifolds

Abstract:Almost contact complex Riemannian manifolds, also known as almost contact B-metric manifolds, are equipped with a pair of pseudo-Riemannian metrics that are mutually associated with each other using the tensor structure. Here we consider a special class of these manifolds, those of the Sasaki-like type. They have an interesting geometric interpretation: the complex cone of such a manifold is a holomorphic complex Riemannian manifold (also called a Kähler-Norden manifold). The basic metric on the considered manifold is specialized here as a soliton, i.e. has an additional curvature property such that the metric is a self-similar solution of an intrinsic geometric flow. Almost solitons are more general objects than solitons because they use functions rather than constants as coefficients in the defining condition. A $\beta$-Ricci-Bourguignon-like almost soliton ($\beta$ is a real constant) is defined using the pair of metrics. The introduced soliton is a generalization of some well-known (almost) solitons (such as those of Ricci, Schouten, and Einstein), which in principle arise from a single metric rather than a pair of metrics. The soliton potential is chosen to be pointwise collinear to the Reeb vector field, or the Lie derivative of any B-metric along the potential to be the same metric multiplied by a function. The resulting manifolds equipped with the introduced almost solitons are characterized geometrically. Appropriate examples for two types of almost solitons are constructed and the properties obtained in the theoretical part are confirmed.

Abstract:In the current article, we examine Lorentzian para-Kenmotsu (shortly, LP-Kenmotsu) manifolds with regard to the generalized symmetric metric connection ∇G of type (α,β). First, we obtain the expressions for curvature tensor, Ricci tensor and scalar curvature of an LP-Kenmotsu manifold with regard to the connection ∇G. Next, we analyze LP-Kenmotsu manifolds equipped with the connection ∇G that are locally symmetric, Ricci semi-symmetric, and φ-Ricci symmetric and also demonstrated that in all these situations the manifold is an Einstein one with regard to the connection ∇G. Moreover, we obtain some conclusions about projectively flat, projectively semi-symmetric and φ-projectively flat LP-Kenmotsu manifolds concerning the connection ∇G along with several consequences through corollaries. Ultimately, we provide a 5-dimensional LP-Kenmotsu manifold example to validate the derived expressions.

Abstract:We construct gradient Kähler-Ricci solitons on Ricci-flat Kähler conemanifolds and on line bundles over toric Fano manifolds. Certain shrinking andexpanding solitons are pasted together to form eternal solutions of the Ricciflow. The method we employ is the Calabi ansatz over Sasaki-Einstein manifolds,and the results generalize constructions of Cao and Feldman-Ilmanen-Knopf.

Abstract:Reviews in Mathematical Physics, Ahead of Print. The main purpose of the paper is to study an almost gradient Ricci–Bourguignon soliton (RB soliton) within the framework of [math]-contact manifolds and [math]-contact manifolds. First, we prove that if complete [math]-contact manifold endows a gradient RB soliton, then the manifold is compact Sasakian and isometric to unit sphere [math]. Next, we show that if a complete contact metric satisfies an almost RB soliton with a non-zero potential vector field is collinear with the Reeb vector field [math] and the Reeb vector field [math] acting as an eigenvector of the Ricci operator, then it is compact Einstein Sasakian and the potential vector field is a constant multiple of the Reeb vector field [math]. Lastly, we prove that if the metric of a non-Sasakian [math]-contact manifold is an almost gradient RB soliton, then it is flat in dimension 3 and in higher dimensions it is locally isometric to [math].

Ricci Flows with Nilpotent Symmetry and Zero Bundle Curvature

Abstract:We use Lott's functional and construct a new functional to derive rigidity results for invariant Ricci flow blowdown limits on nilpotent principal bundles with zero associated curvature. Consequently, we prove that the blowdown limit is locally an expanding Ricci soliton when the structure group is the three dimensional Heisenberg group. In addition, we classify this soliton when the base manifold is one dimensional. This, together with Lott's work in the abelian setting, yields a complete local classification of invariant Ricci flow blowdown limits on four dimensional, nilpotent principal bundles.

Abstract:In this research article, we concentrate on the exploration of submanifolds in an (LCS)m-manifold B ̃. We examine these submanifolds in the context of two distinct vector fields, namely, the characteristic vector field and the concurrent vector field. Initially, we consider some classifications of η-Ricci–Bourguignon (in short, η-RB) solitons on both invariant and anti-invariant submanifolds of B ̃ employing the characteristic vector field. We establish several significant findings through this process. Furthermore, we investigate additional results by using η-RB solitons on invariant submanifolds of B ̃ with concurrent vector fields, and discuss a supporting example.

Abstract:We consider almost $\eta$-Ricci solitons in $(\varepsilon)$-para Sasakian manifolds satisfying certain curvature conditions. In the gradient case we give an estimation of the Ricci curvature tensor's norm and express the scalar curvature of the manifold in terms of the functions that define the soliton. We also prove that if the Ricci operator is Codazzi, then the gradient $\eta$-Ricci soliton is expanding if $M$ is spacelike or shrinking if $M$ is timelike.

Abstract:We provide conditions for a compact gradient hyperbolic Ricci and a compact gradient hyperbolic Yamabe soliton to be trivial, hence, the manifold to be an Einstein manifold in the first case, and a manifold of constant scalar curvature, in the second case. In particular, we prove that for a compact gradient hyperbolic Yamabe soliton of dimension $>2$, if the second Lie derivative of the metric in the direction of the potential vector field is trace-free and divergence-free, then the above conclusion is reached.

Abstract:In this paper, we study Riemannian maps whose base manifolds admit a Ricci soliton and give a non-trivial example of such a Riemannian map. First, we find Riemannian curvature tensor for the base manifolds of Riemannian map $F$. Further, we obtain the Ricci tensor and calculate the scalar curvature of the base manifold. Moreover, we obtain necessary conditions for the leaves of $rangeF_\ast$ to be Ricci soliton, almost Ricci soliton, and Einstein. We also obtain necessary conditions for the leaves of $(rangeF_\ast)^\bot$ to be Ricci soliton and Einstein. Also, we calculate the scalar curvatures of $rangeF_\ast$ and $(rangeF_\ast)^\bot$ by using Ricci soliton. Finally, we study the harmonicity and biharmonicity of such a Riemannian map. We obtain a necessary and sufficient condition for such a Riemannian map between Riemannian manifolds to be harmonic. We also obtain necessary and sufficient conditions for a Riemannian map from a Riemannian manifold to a space form that admits Ricci soliton to be harmonic and biharmonic.

Stability and moduli space of generalized Ricci solitons

Abstract:The generalized Einstein Hilbert action is an extension of the classic scalar curvature energy and Perelman F functional which incorporates a closed three-form. The critical points are known as generalized Ricci solitons, which arise naturally in mathematical physics, complex geometry, and generalized geometry. Through a delicate analysis of the group of generalized gauge transformations, and implementing a novel connection, we give a simple formula for the second variation of this energy which generalizes the Lichnerowicz operator in the Einstein case. As an application, we show that all Bismut flat manifolds are linearly stable critical points, and admit nontrivial deformations arising from Lie theory. Furthermore, this leads to extensions of classic results of Koiso and Podesta, Spiro, Kröncke to the moduli space of generalized Ricci solitons. To finish we classify deformations of the Bismut-flat structure on S3 and show that some are integrable while others are not.

Abstract:The aim of the present article is to characterize (almost) coKähler manifolds admitting η ‐Ricci‐Bourguignon solitons. Among others, it is proved that if a three‐dimensional compact almost coKähler manifold admits η ‐Ricci‐Bourguignon soliton and the potential vector field is pointwise collinear with the Reeb vector field, then the manifold is K‐almost coKähler and η ‐Einstein. Gradient η ‐Ricci‐Bourguignon solitons on such manifolds are also considered. Finally, we construct an example of almost coKähler manifold to verify a result.
