Abstract:In this short note we prove two projectivity criteria for fibrations between mildly singular compact Kähler spaces. They are the relative versions of the celebrated criteria of Kodaira and Moishezon. As an application we obtain that the MRC fibration always has a model that is a projective morphism.

Abstract:Homological Projective duality (HP-duality) theory, introduced by Kuznetsov [42], is one of the most powerful frameworks in the homological study of algebraic geometry. The main result (HP-duality theorem) of the theory gives complete descriptions of bounded derived categories of coherent sheaves of (dual) linear sections of HP-dual varieties. We show the theorem also holds for more general intersections beyond linear sections. More explicitly, for a given HP-dual pair $(X,Y)$, then analogue of HP-duality theorem holds for their intersections with another HP-dual pair $(S,T)$, provided that they intersect properly. We also prove a relative version of our main result. Taking $(S,T)$ to be dual linear subspaces (resp. subbundles), our method provides a more direct proof of the original (relative) HP-duality theorem.

Abstract:Motivated by a conjecture in [9] we prove that the Kähler cone over a regular complete Sasakian manifold is Ricci-flat and projectively induced if and only if it is flat. We also obtain that, up to $\mathcal D_a$-homothetic transformations, Kähler cones over homogeneous compact Sasakian manifolds are projectively induced. As main tool we provide a relation between the Kähler potentials of the transverse Kähler metric and of the cone metric.

Abstract:In this paper, we first prove that a compact Kähler manifold is projective if it satisfies certain quasi-positive curvature conditions, including quasi-positive $S_2^\perp,\, S_2^+,\,\mbox{Ric}_3^\perp, \,\mbox{Ric}_3^+$ or $2$-quasi-positive $\mbox{Ric}_k$. Subsequently, we prove that a compact Kähler manifold with a restricted holonomy group is both projective and rationally conected if it satisfies some non-negative curvature condition, including non-negative $S_2^\perp,\, S_2^+,\,\mbox{Ric}_3^\perp, \,\mbox{Ric}_3^+$ or $2$-non-negative $\mbox{Ric}_k$.

Abstract:The Kodaira embedding theorem provides an effective characterization of projectivity of a Kahler manifold in terms the second cohomology. X Yang (2018) proved that any compact Kahler manifold with positive holomorphic sectional curvature must be projective. This gives a metric criterion of the projectivity in terms of its curvature. We prove that any compact Kahler manifold with positive 2(nd) scalar curvature (which is the average of holomorphic sectional curvature over 2-dimensional subspaces of the tangent space) must be projective. In view of generic 2-tori being nonabelian, this new curvature characterization is sharp in certain sense.
Conical Kähler–Einstein Metrics Revisited

Abstract:In this paper we introduce the “interpolation–degeneration” strategy to study Kähler–Einstein metrics on a smooth Fano manifold with cone singularities along a smooth divisor that is proportional to the anti-canonical divisor. By “interpolation” we show the angles in (0, 2π] that admit a conical Kähler–Einstein metric form a connected interval, and by “degeneration” we determine the boundary of the interval in some important cases. As a first application, we show that there exists a Kähler–Einstein metric on ${\mathbb{P}^2}$ with cone singularity along a smooth conic (degree 2) curve if and only if the angle is in (π/2, 2π]. When the angle is 2π/3 this proves the existence of a Sasaki–Einstein metric on the link of a three dimensional A 2 singularity, and thus answers a question posed by Gauntlett–Martelli–Sparks–Yau. As a second application we prove a version of Donaldson’s conjecture about conical Kähler–Einstein metrics in the toric case using Song–Wang’s recent existence result of toric invariant conical Kähler–Einstein metrics.

Nemirovski is proved: if $X$ is either a projective or a Stein manifold and $K\subset X$ is a compact sublevel set of a strictly plurisubharmonic function $\varphi$ defined in a neighborhood of $K$, then $X\setminus K$ is a union of positive divisors if and only if $dd^c\varphi$ extends to a Hodge form on $X$. For an arbitrary compact subset $K\subsetneq X$, this gives that $X\setminus K$ is a union of positive divisors if and only if $K$ admits a neighbourhood basis of sublevel sets of strictly plurisubharmonic functions with the $dd^c$-extension property.

Abstract:In this paper, we consider mixed curvature $\mathcal{C}_{a,b}$, which is a convex combination of Ricci curvature and holomorphic sectional curvature introduced by Chu-Lee-Tam. We prove that if a compact complex manifold M admits a Kähler metric with quasi-positive mixed curvature and $3a+2b\geq0$, then it is projective. If $a,b\geq0$, then M is rationally connected. As a corollary, the same result holds for k-Ricci curvature. We also show that any compact Kähler manifold with quasi-positive 2-scalar curvature is projective. Lastly, we generalize the result to the Hermitian case. In particular, any compact Hermitian threefold with quasi-positive real bisectional curvature have vanishing Hodge number $h^{2,0}$. Furthermore, if it is Kählerian, it is projective.

Abstract:We compare several different methods involving Hodge-theoretic spectra of singularities which produce constraints on the number and type of isolated singularities on projective hypersurfaces of fixed degree. In particular, we introduce a method based on the spectrum of the nonisolated singularity at the origin of the affine cone on such a hypersurface, and relate the resulting explicit formula to Varchenko's bound.

More precisely, we establish the cone and contraction theorem of normal pairs for projective morphisms between complex analytic spaces. This result is a starting point of the minimal model program for complex analytic log canonical pairs. Abstract:We show that the standard definitions of Sasaki structures have elegant and simplifying interpretations in terms of projective differential geometry. For Sasaki-Einstein structures we use projective geometry to provide a resolution of such structures into geometrically less rigid components; the latter elemental components are separately, complex, orthogonal, and symplectic holonomy reductions of the canonical projective tractor/Cartan connection. This leads to a characterisation of Sasaki-Einstein structures as projective structures with certain unitary holonomy reductions. As an immediate application, this is used to describe the projective compactification of indefinite (suitably) complete non-compact Sasaki-Einstein structures and to prove that the boundary at infinity is a Fefferman conformal manifold that thus fibres over a nondegenerate CR manifold (of hypersurface type). We prove that this CR manifold coincides with the boundary at infinity for the c-projective compactification of the Kähler-Einstein manifold that arises, in the usual way, as a leaf space for the defining Killing field of the given Sasaki-Einstein manifold. A procedure for constructing examples is given. The discussion of symplectic holonomy reductions of projective structures leads us moreover to a new and simplifying approach to contact projective geometry. This is of independent interest and is treated in some detail.

Abstract:Let X⊂Pn+1 be a smooth Fano hypersurface of dimension n and degree d . The derived category of coherent sheaves on X contains an interesting subcategory called the Kuznetsov component AX . We show that this subcategory, together with a certain autoequivalence called the rotation functor, determines X uniquely if d>3 or if d=3 and n>3 . This generalizes a result by Huybrechts and Rennemo, who proved the same statement under the additional assumption that d divides n+2 .

ku-theoretic spectral decompositions for spheres and projective spaces

Abstract:Ben-Zvi--Sakellaridis--Venkatesh described a conjectural extension of the geometric Satake equivalence to spherical varieties, whose spectral decomposition is described by Hamiltonian varieties. The goal of this article is to study their conjecture, especially in the case of spherical varieties of relative rank 1, using tools from homotopy theory. Our discussion relates their conjecture to classical topics in homotopy theory such as the EHP sequence and Hopf fibrations, as well as more modern topics such as Hochschild (co)homology. We will also study an analogue of the derived geometric Satake equivalence and of the Ben-Zvi--Sakellaridis--Venkatesh conjecture with coefficients in connective complex K-theory. In this generalized setting, the dual group (a la Langlands, Gaitsgory--Nadler, Sakellaridis--Venkatesh, Knop--Schalke) remains unchanged, but the specific dual "representation" of the dual group changes. On the spectral/Langlands dual side, we expect that the appropriate replacement of Hamiltonian varieties are given by what we term "ku-Hamiltonian varieties"; this is a notion interpolating between Hamiltonian and quasi-Hamiltonian varieties (a la Alekseev--Malkin--Meinrenken). Finally, we suggest possible generalizations to more exotic cohomology theories such as complex cobordism.
