Abstract:We show Poincaré Duality for $\mathbf{F}_p$-étale cohomology of a smooth proper rigid-analytic space over a non-archimedean field $K$ of mixed characteristic $(0, p)$. It positively answers the question raised by P. Scholze in [Sch13a]. We prove duality via constructing Faltings' trace map relating Poincaré Duality on the generic fiber to (almost) Grothendieck Duality on the mod-$p$ fiber of a formal model. We also formally deduce Poincaré Duality for $\mathbf{Z}/p^n\mathbf{Z}$, $\mathbf{Z}_p$, and $\mathbf{Q}_p$-coefficients.

Abstract:We introduce a notion of quadratic duality for chiral algebras. This can be viewed as a chiral version of the usual quadratic duality for quadratic associative algebras. We study the relationship between this duality notion and the Maurer-Cartan equations for chiral algebras, which turns out to be parallel to the associative algebra case. We also present some explicit examples.

Abstract:We discover an Ising-type duality in the general $N$-state chiral Potts model, which is the Kramers-Wannier duality of planar Ising model when N=2. This duality relates the spectrum and eigenvectors of one chiral Potts model at a low temperature (of small $k'$) to those of another chiral Potts model at a high temperature (of $k'^{-1}$). The $\tau^{(2)}$-model and chiral Potts model on the dual lattice are established alongside the dual chiral Potts models. With the aid of this duality relation, we exact a precise relationship between the Onsager-algebra symmetry of a homogeneous superintegrable chiral Potts model and the $sl_2$-loop-algebra symmetry of its associated spin-$\frac{N-1}{2}$ XXZ chain through the identification of their eigenstates.

Abstract:We prove a conjecture of Bhatt-Hansen that derived pushforwards along proper morphisms of rigid-analytic spaces commute with Verdier duality on Zariski-constructible complexes. In particular, this yields duality statements for the intersection cohomology of proper rigid-analytic spaces. In our argument, we construct cycle classes in analytic geometry as well as trace maps for morphisms that are either smooth or proper or finite flat, with appropriate coefficients. As an application of our methods, we obtain new, significantly simplified proofs of $p$-adic Poincaré duality and the preservation of $\mathbf{F}_p$-local systems under smooth proper higher direct images.

Abstract:We show how the Landau-Ginzburg/Calabi-Yau correspondence for the quintic three-fold can be cast into a global mirror symmetry framework. Then we draw inspiration from Berglund-H\"ubsch mirror duality construction to provide an analogue conjectural picture featuring all Calabi-Yau hypersurfaces within weighted projective spaces and certain quotients by finite abelian group actions.

Abstract:Given a smooth proper morphism $f\colon X\rightarrow S$, we introduce a certain derived category where morphisms are permitted to be $\mathcal{O}_S$-linear differential operators. We then prove a generalisation of Serre duality that applies to two-term complexes of this type. We apply this to give a new proof of Poincaré duality for relative algebraic de Rham cohomology.

Abstract:A version of the twisted Poincaré duality is proved between the Poisson homology and cohomology of a polynomial Poisson algebra with values in an arbitrary Poisson module. The duality is achieved by twisting the Poisson module structure in a canonical way, which is constructed from the modular derivation. In the case that the Poisson structure is unimodular, the twisted Poincaré duality reduces to the Poincaré duality in usual sense. The main result generalizes the work of Launois and Richard [8] for the quadratic Poisson structures and Zhu [25] for the linear Poisson structures.

Abstract:We calculate the tropical Dolbeault cohomology for the analytifications of the projective line and Mumford curves over non-archimedean fields. We show that the cohomology satisfies Poincaré duality and behaves analogously to the cohomology of curves over the complex numbers. Further, we give a complete calculation of the dimension of the cohomology on a basis of the topology.

Abstract:The goal of this papers is to extending to the complex analytic framework the relative Kleiman duality for quasi coherent sheaves. Precisely, he show that for any flat,locally projectivea and finitely presented morphism of schemes $\pi:X\rightarrow S$ whose fibers are of pure dimension $n$, the functor ${\rm I}\!{\rm R}^{n}\pi_{*}:{\rm Q}coh(X) \rightarrow {\rm Q}coh(S)$ admits a right adjoint covariant functor (noted $\pi^{!}_{\mathcal K}$) inducing, for any quasi-coherent sheaves ${\mathcal F}$ and ${\mathcal G}$ on $X$ and $S$ respectively, a relative duality isomorphism ${\rm I}\!{\rm H}om(X; {\mathcal F},\pi^{!}_{\mathcal K}({\mathcal G}))\simeq {\rm I}\!{\rm H}om(S; {\rm I}\!{\rm R}^{n}\pi_{*}{\mathcal F}, {\mathcal G})$ bifunctorial in ${\mathcal F}$, ${\mathcal G}$ satisfying many nice functorial properties. Furthermore, he shows that full duality is achieved if and only if $\pi$ is Cohen Macaulay morphism. We show in the first part which concerns proper morphism of complex spaces with constant fibers dimension that we have a similar duality in this context with the same conclusion for the full duality. In the secod part, the morphism are not necessarly proper but equidimensional or open with constant fibers dimension. The situation is much more complicated because we must use a specific analytic geometry tools. Infinite dimensional cohomology groups considered as locally convex vectorial topological spaces are generally not Hausdorff, the higher direct image with propre support ${\rm I}\!{\rm R}^{n}\pi_{!}$ are generally never coherent. Despite all this problems, we are able to give a semi-relative duality theorem as mentioned above and in a certain sense.

Abstract:In this paper, we apply the idea of T-duality to projective spaces. From a connection on a line bundle on $\mathbb P^n$, a Lagrangian in the mirror Landau-Ginzburg model is constructed. Under this correspondence, the full strong exceptional collection $\mathcal O_{\mathbb P^n}(-n-1),...,\mathcal O_{\mathbb P^n}(-1)$ is mapped to standard Lagrangians in the sense of \cite{nz}. Passing to constructible sheaves, we explicitly compute the quiver structure of these Lagrangians, and find that they match the quiver structure of this exceptional collection of $\mathbb P^n$. In this way, T-duality provides quasi-equivalence of the Fukaya category generated by these Lagrangians and the category of coherent sheaves on $\mathbb P^n$, which is a kind of homological mirror symmetry.

Abstract:We study chiral algebra in the reduction of 3D $\mathcal{N} = 2 $ supersymmetric gauge theories on an interval with the $\mathcal{N}=(0,2)$ Dirichlet boundary conditions on both ends. By invoking the 3D ``twisted formalism'' and the 2D $\beta\gamma$-description we explicitly find the perturbative $\overline{Q}_+$ cohomology of the reduced theory. It is shown that the vertex algebras of boundary operators are enhanced by the line operators. A full non-perturbative result is found in the abelian case, where the chiral algebra is given by the rank two Narain lattice VOA, and two more equivalent descriptions are provided. Conjectures and speculations on the nonperturbative answer in the non-abelian case are also given.

Abstract:We give a proof of the parabolic/singular Koszul duality for the category O of affine Kac-Moody algebras. The main new tool is a relation between moment graphs and finite codimensional affine Schubert varieties. We apply this duality to q-Schur algebras and to cyclotomic rational double affine Hecke algebras. This yields a proof of a conjecture of Chuang-Miyachi relating the level-rank duality with the Ringel-Koszul duality of cyclotomic rational double affine Hecke algebras.
Motivic mirror symmetry and $χ$-independence for Higgs bundles in arbitrary characteristic

Abstract:We prove that the (twisted orbifold) motives of the moduli spaces of $\mathrm{SL}_n$ and $\mathrm{PGL}_n$-Higgs bundles of coprime rank and degree on a smooth projective curve over an algebraically closed field in which the rank is invertible are isomorphic in Voevodsky's triangulated category of motives. The equality of twisted orbifold Hodge numbers of these moduli spaces was conjectured by Hausel and Thaddeus and recently proven by Groechenig, Ziegler and Wyss via $p$-adic integration and then by Maulik and Shen using the decomposition theorem, an analysis of the supports of $D$-twisted Hitchin fibrations and vanishing cycles. Our proof in characteristic zero combines the geometric ideas of Maulik and Shen with the conservativity of the Betti realisation on abelian motives; to apply the latter, we prove that the relevant motives are abelian. In particular, we prove that the motive of the $\mathrm{SL}_n$-Higgs moduli space is abelian, building on our previous work in the $\mathrm{GL}_n$-case. We then use motivic nearby cycles to deduce the result in positive characteristic from that in characteristic zero. Using the same ideas, we prove motivic $\chi$-independence for $\mathrm{GL}_n$-Higgs bundles.

Abstract:We initiate the study of how the insertion of magnetically charged states in 4d self-dual gauge theories impacts the 2d chiral algebras supported on the celestial sphere at asymptotic null infinity, from the point of view of the 4d/2d twistorial correspondence introduced by Costello and the second author. By reducing the 6d twistorial theory to a 3d holomorphic-topological theory with suitable boundary conditions, we can motivate certain non-perturbative enhancements of the celestial chiral algebra corresponding to extensions by modules arising from 3d boundary monopole operators. We also identify the insertion of 4d (non-abelian) monopoles with families of spectral flow automorphisms of the celestial chiral algebra.

Abstract:Using a homotopy introduced by de Wilde and Lecomte and homological perturbation theory for $A_\infty$-algebras, we give an explicit proof that the universal enveloping algebra $UL$ of a differential graded Lie algebra $L$ is Koszul, via an explicit contracting homotopy from the cobar construction $\Omega CL$ of the Chevalley-Eilenberg chain coalgebra $CL$ of $L$ to $UL$.
