Abstract:An alternative concept of the basic invariants is introduced. The Lewis-Riesenfeld invariant theory is extended to obtain a generalized invariant formulation. The formulation is then used to establish four facts: (i) Any invariant for a quantum system can be constructed in terms of the basic invariants. (ii) It is possible to introduce a solution-generating technique by making use of the basic invariants. (iii) The path integral in the generalized invariant formulation reduces to an ordinary integral. (iv) The study of noncyclic evolution of a quantum system reduces explicitly to the study of the cyclic evolution. Finally, phase factors and general solution for the driven generalized time-dependent harmonic oscillator are studied as an illustrative example.
Infinite Number of Integrals of Motion in Classically Integrable System with Boundary (Ii)

Abstract:In Affine Toda field theory, links among three generating functions for integrals of motion derived from Part (I) are studied, and some classically integrable boundary conditions are obtained. An infinite number of integrals of motion are calculated in ZMS model with quasi-periodic condition. We find the classically integrable boundary conditions and K+/-, matrices of ZMS model with independent boundary conditions on each end. It is identified that an infinite number of integrals of motion does exist and one of them is the Hamiltonian, so this system is completely integrable.

Abstract:Let $X$ be a real prehomogeneous vector space under a reductive group $G$, such that $X$ is an absolutely spherical $G$-variety with affine open orbit. We define local zeta integrals that involve the integration of Schwartz-Bruhat functions on $X$ against generalized matrix coefficients of admissible representations of $G(\mathbb{R})$, twisted by complex powers of relative invariants. We establish the convergence of these integrals in some range, the meromorphic continuation as well as a functional equation in terms of abstract $\gamma$-factors. This subsumes the Archimedean zeta integrals of Godement-Jacquet, those of Sato-Shintani (in the spherical case), and the previous works of Bopp-Rubenthaler. The proof of functional equations is based on Knop's results on Capelli operators.

In contrast to the previous examples, the relevant moduli spaces in our case frequently do not have expected dimensions. It makes the calculation more difficult. Abstract:We derive the geometric quantization program of symplectic manifolds, in the sense of both Kostant-Souriau and Weinstein, from Feynman's path integral formulation on phase space. The state space we use contains states with negative norm and polarized sections determine a Hilbert space. We discuss ambiguities in the definition of path integrals arising from the distinct Riemann sum prescriptions and its consequence on the quantization of symplectomorphisms.

Abstract:A prequantization bundle is a negative circle bundle over a symplectic surface together with a contact form induced by a S1-invariant connection. Given a symplectically aspherical symplectic filling of a prequantization bundle satisfying certain topological conditions, suppose that a version of symplectic capacity of the symplectic filling is finite. Then, we show that the symplectic filling is diffeomorphic to the associated disk bundle.

Abstract:We axiomatize path integral quantization of symplectic manifolds. We prove that this path integral formulation of quantization is equivalent to an abstract operator formulation, ie. abstract coherent state (or Berezin) quantization. We use the corresponding path integral of Poisson manifolds to quantize all complete Riemann surfaces of constant non$\unicode{x2013}$positive curvature and some Poisson structures on the sphere.

ECH spectrum of some prequantization bundles

Abstract:A prequantization bundle is a circle bundle over a symplectic surface with negative Euler class. A connection 1-form induces a natural contact form on it. The purpose of this note is to compute the ECH spectrum of the prequantization bundles of the sphere and the torus. Our proof relies on computations of the ECH cobordism maps induced by the associated line bundles. Using the cobordism maps and some computations on the U maps, we also show that the Gromov width of the unit disk subbundles is bounded by 1.

Abstract:In this addendum we strengthen the results of math-ph/0002010 in the case of polynomial phases. We prove that Cesaro means of the pair correlation functions of certain integrable quantum maps on the 2-sphere at level N tend almost always to the Poisson (uniform limit). The quantum maps are exponentials of Hamiltonians which have the form a p(I) + b I, where I is the action, where p is a polynomial and where a,b are two real numbers. We prove that for any such family and for almost all a,b, the pair correlation tends to Poisson on average in N. The results involve Weyl estimates on exponential sums and new metric results on continued fractions. They were motivated by a comparison of the results of math-ph/0002010 with some independent results on pair correlation of fractional parts of polynomials by Rudnick-Sarnak.

Abstract:The authors study the singular integrals under the Hormander condition and the measure not satisfying the doubling condition. At first, if the corresponding singular integral is bounded from L 2 to itself, it is proved that the maximal singular integral is bounded from L-infinity to RBMO except that it is infinite mu-a.e. on R-d. A sufficient condition and a necessary condition such that the maximal singular integral is bounded from L 2 to itself are also obtained. There is a small gap between the two conditions.

Abstract:We investigate integral conditions involving the mean curvature vector $\vec{H}$ or mixed higher-order mean curvatures, to determine when a codimension-two submanifold $\Sigma$ lies on a shear-free (umbilical) null hypersurface in a spacetime. We generalize the Alexandrov-type theorems in spacetime introduced in \cite{wang2017Minkowski} by relaxing the curvature conditions on $\Sigma$ in several aspects. Specifically, we provide a necessary and sufficient condition, in terms of a mean curvature integral inequality, for $\Sigma$ to lie in a shear-free null hypersurface. A key component of our approach is the use of Minkowski formulas with arbitrary weight, which enables us to derive rigidity results for submanifolds with significantly weaker integral curvature conditions.

Abstract:Classical integrable Hamiltonian systems generated by elements of the Poisson commuting ring of spectral invariants on rational coadjoint orbits of the loop algebra$$\widetilde{\mathfrak{g}\mathfrak{l}}^{ + *} (2,\mathbb{R})$$ are integrated by separation of variables in the Hamilton-Jacobi equation in hyperellipsoidal coordinates. The canonically quantized systems are then shown to also be completely integrable and separable within the same coordinates. Pairs of second class constraints defining reduced phase spaces are implemented in the quantized systems by choosing one constraint as an invariant, and interpreting the other as determining a quotient (i.e. by treating one as a first class constraint and the other as a gauge condition). Completely integrable, separable systems on spheres and ellipsoids result, but those on ellipsoids require a further modification of order$$\mathcal{O}(\hbar ^2 )$$ in the commuting invariants in order to assure self-adjointness and to recover the Laplacian for the case of free motion. for each case — in the ambient space ℝn, the sphere and the ellipsoid — the Schrödinger equations are completely separated in hyperellipsoidal coordinates, giving equations of generalized Lamé type.

Abstract:We give a sufficient condition for Hölder continuity at a boundary point for quasiminima of double-phase functionals of $p,q$-Laplace type, in the setting of metric measure spaces equipped with a doubling measure and supporting a Poincaré inequality. We use a variational approach based on De Giorgi-type conditions to give a pointwise estimate near a boundary point. The proofs are based on a careful phase analysis and estimates in the intrinsic geometries.

Abstract:We investigate the quantum analogue of the classical Sobolev inequalities in the phase space, with the quantum Sobolev norms defined in terms of Schatten norms of commutators. These inequalities provide an uncertainty principle for the Wigner-Yanase skew information, and also lead to new bounds on the Schatten norms of the Weyl quantization in terms of its symbol. As an intermediate tool, we obtain the analogue of Hardy-Littlewood-Sobolev's inequalities for a semiclassical analogue of the convolution, and introduce quantum Besov spaces. Explicit estimates are obtained on the optimal constants.

Quantum geometric bound and ideal condition for Euler band topology

Abstract:Understanding the relationship between quantum geometry and topological invariants is a central problem in the study of topological states. In this work, we establish the relationship between the quantum metric and the Euler curvature in two-dimensional systems with space-time inversion $I_{ST}$ symmetry satisfying $I^2_{ST}=+1$. As $I_{ST}$ symmetry imposes the reality of the wave function with vanishing Berry curvature, the well-known inequality between the quantum metric and the Berry curvature is not meaningful in this class of systems. We find that the non-abelian quantum geometric tensor of two real bands exhibits an intriguing inequality between the off-diagonal Berry curvature and the quantum metric, which in turn gives the inequality between the quantum volume and the Euler invariant. Moreover, we show that the saturation condition of the inequality is deeply related to the ideal condition for Euler bands, which provides a criterion for the stability of fractional topological phases in interacting Euler bands. Our findings demonstrate the potential of the quantum geometry as a powerful tool for characterizing symmetry-protected topological states and their interaction effect.

Quantum Harmonic Analysis on locally compact abelian groups

Abstract:We extend the notions of quantum harmonic analysis, as introduced in [48], to abelian phase spaces, by which we mean a locally compact abelian group endowed with a Heisenberg multiplier. In this way, we obtain a joint harmonic analysis of functions and operators for each such phase space. For all this, we spend significant extra effort to include also phase spaces which are not second countable. We obtain most results from [48] for these general phase spaces, up to Wiener's approximation theorem for operators. As an addition, we extend certain of those results (most notably Wiener's approximation theorem) to operators acting on certain coorbit spaces affiliated with the phase space.

Symmetries of quantization of finite groupoids

Abstract:This paper proves certain facts concerning the equivariance of quantization of pi-finite spaces. We argue that these facts establish an analogy between this quantization procedure and the geometric quantization of a symplectic vector space. Specifically, we observe that symmetries of a given polarization/Lagrangian always induce coherent symmetries of the quantization. On the other hand, symmetries of the entire phase space a priori only induce projective symmetries. For certain three-dimensional theories, this projectivity appears via a twice-categorified analogue of Blattner-Kostant-Sternberg kernels in geometric quantization and the associated integral transforms.
