Abstract:We describe some recent development on the theory of formal Frobenius manifolds via a construction from differential Gerstenhaber-Batalin-Vilkovisk (DGBV) algebras and formulate a version of mirror symmetry conjecture: the extended deformation problems of the complex structure and the Poisson structure are described by two DGBV algebras; mirror symmetry is interpreted in term of the invariance of the formal Frobenius manifold structures under quasi-isomorphism.

Abstract:. One of the methods to obtain Frobenius manifold structures is via differential Gerstenhaber-Batalin-Vilkovisky (DGBV) algebra construction. An important problem, as motivated from mirror symmetry, is how to identify Frobenius manifold structures constructed from two different DGBV algebras. For DGBV algebras with suitable conditions, we show the functorial property of a construction of deformations of the multiplicative structures of their cohomology. In particular, we show that quasi-isomorphic DGBV algebras yield equivalent formal Frobenius manifold structures.

Abstract:We identify two Frobenius manifolds obtained from two different differential Gerstenhaber-Batalin-Vilkovisky algebras on a compact Kahler manifold. One is constructed on the Dolbeault cohomology in Cao-Zhou [6], and the other on the de Rham cohomology in the present paper. This can be considered as a generalization of the identification of the Dolbeault cohomology ring with the complexified de Rham cohomology ring on a Kahler manifold.

Abstract:We give some tautological constructions of formal Frobenius manifold structures on a Frobenius algebra. As a consequence, one can construct a version of "quantum cohomology" for any connected oriented closed manifold, in the sense that it is a deformation given by a function which satisfies the WDVV equations. We compute the potential functions for complex projective spaces.

Algebraic structures in Lagrangian Floer cohomology modelled on differential forms

Abstract:We define a structure of an algebra on the Lagrangian Floer cohomology of a Lagrangian submanifold over the quantum cohomology of the ambient symplectic manifold. The structure is analogous to the one defined by Biran-Cornea, but is constructed in the differential forms model. In the spirit of Ganatra and Hugtenburg, we define another such algebra structure using a closed-open map. We show that the two structures coincide. As an application, we show that the module structure for the 2-dimensional Clifford torus is given by multiplication by a Novikov coefficient, similarly to the Biran-Cornea module structure for this case.

Abstract:Kontsevich suggested that the Landau-Ginzburg model presents a good formalism for homological mirror symmetry. In this paper we propose to investigate the LG theory from the viewpoint of Koopman-von Neumann's construction. New advances are thus provided, namely regarding a conjecture of Kontsevich--Soibelman (on a version of the Strominger-Yau-Zaslow mirror problem). We show that there exists a Monge--Ampere domain Y, generated by a space of probability densities parametrising mirror dual Calabi-Yau manifolds. This provides torus fibrations over Y. The mirror pairs are obtained via the Berglund-Hubsch-Krawitz construction. We also show that the Monge-Ampere manifolds are pre-Frobenius manifolds. Our method allows to recover certain results concerning Lagrangian torus fibrations. We illustrate our construction on a concrete toy model, which allows us, additionally to deduce a relation between von Neumann algebras,, Monge--Ampere manifolds and pre-Frobenius manifolds.

Abstract:Using recent results of Battistella, Nabijou, Ranganathan and the author, we compare candidate mirror algebras associated with certain log Calabi-Yau pairs constructed by Gross-Siebert using log Gromov-Witten theory and Tseng-You using orbifold Gromov- Witten theory of root stacks. Although the structure constants used to defined these mirror algebras do not typically agree, we show that any given structure constant involved in the construction the algebra of Gross and Siebert can be computed in terms of structure constants of the algebra of Tseng and You after a sequence of log blowups. Using this relation, we provide another proof of associativity of the log mirror algebra, and a proof of the weak Frobenius Structure Theorem in full generality. Along the way, we introduce a class of twisted punctured Gromov-Witten invariants of generalized root stacks induced by log étale modifications, and use this to study the behavior of log Gromov-Witten invariants under ramified base change.

Abstract:We describe the construction of Frobenius manifold out of a cyclic (commutative) $BV_\infty$ algebra $(A,\Delta)$ under the assumption of a Hodge-to-de Rham degeneration property and the existence of a compatible homotopy retract of $A$ onto its cohomology. We then apply it to Jacobi manifolds and Hermitian manifolds, generalizing known results in literature.

Abstract:We construct a functor from the derived category of homotopy Gerstenhaber algebras with finite-dimensional cohomology to the purely geometric category of so-called $F_{\infty}$-manifolds. The latter contains Frobenius manifolds as a subcategory (so that a pointed Frobenius manifold is itself a homotopy Gerstenhaber algebra). If a homotopy Gerstenhaber algebra happens to be formal as a $L_{\infty}$-algebra, then its $F_{\infty}$-manifold comes equipped with the Gauss-Manin connection. Mirror Symmetry implications are discussed.

Abstract:In this paper, we study the algebraic properties of the higher analogues of Courant algebroid structures on the direct sum bundle TM ⊕ ∧ n T*M for an m-dimensional manifold. As an application, we revisit Nambu-Poisson structures and multisymplectic structures. We prove that the graph of an (n+1)-vector field π is closed under the higher-order Dorfman bracket iff π is a Nambu-Poisson structure. Consequently, there is an induced Leibniz algebroid structure on ∧ n T*M. The graph of an (n+1)-form ω is closed under the higher-order Dorfman bracket iff ω is a premultisymplectic structure of order n, i.e., dω = 0. Furthermore, there is a Lie algebroid structure on the admissible bundle A ⊂ ∧ n T*M. In particular, for a 2-plectic structure, it induces the Lie 2-algebra structure given in (Baez, Hoffnung and Rogers, 2010).

Abstract:The semi-classical data attached to stacks of algebroids in the sense of Kashiwara and Kontsevich are Maurer-Cartan elements on complex manifolds, which we call extended Poisson structures as they generalize holomorphic Poisson structures. A canonical Lie algebroid is associated to each Maurer-Cartan element. We study the geometry underlying these Maurer-Cartan elements in the light of Lie algebroid theory. In particular, we extend Lichnerowicz-Poisson cohomology and Koszul-Brylinski homology to the realm of extended Poisson manifolds; we establish a sufficient criterion for these to be finite dimensional; we describe how homology and cohomology are related through the Evens-Lu-Weinstein duality module; and we describe a duality on Koszul-Brylinski homology, which generalizes the Serre duality of Dolbeault cohomology.

Abstract:Holomorphic Poisson structures arise naturally in the realm of generalized geometry. A holomorphic Poisson structure induces a deformation of the complex structure in a generalized sense, whose cohomology is obtained by twisting the Dolbeault @-operator by the holomorphic Poisson bivector field. Therefore, the cohomology space naturally appears as the limit of a spectral sequence of a double complex. The first sheet of this spectral sequence is simply the Dolbeault cohomology with coefficients in the exterior algebra of the holomorphic tangent bundle. We identify various necessary conditions on compact complex manifolds on which this spectral sequence degenerates on the level of the second sheet. The manifolds to our concern include all compact complex surfaces, Kähler manifolds, and nilmanifolds with abelian complex structures or parallelizable complex structures.

Abstract:In the first part of this paper, we introduce the notion of "cyclic stratum" of a Frobenius manifold $M$. This is the set of points of the extended manifold $\mathbb C^*\times M$ at which the unit vector field is a cyclic vector for the isomonodromic system defined by the flatness condition of the extended deformed connection. The study of the geometry of the complement of the cyclic stratum is addressed. We show that at points of the cyclic stratum, the isomonodromic system attached to $M$ can be reduced to a scalar differential equation, called the "master differential equation" of $M$. In the case of Frobenius manifolds coming from Gromov-Witten theory, namely quantum cohomologies of smooth projective varieties, such a construction reproduces the notion of quantum differential equation. In the second part of the paper, we introduce two multilinear transforms, called "Borel-Laplace $(\boldsymbol \alpha,\boldsymbol\beta)$-multitransforms", on spaces of Ribenboim formal power series with exponents and coefficients in an arbitrary finite dimensional $\mathbb C$-algebra $A$. When $A$ is specialized to the cohomology of smooth projective varieties, the integral forms of the Borel-Laplace $(\boldsymbol \alpha,\boldsymbol\beta)$-multitransforms are used in order to rephrase the Quantum Lefschetz Theorem. This leads to explicit Mellin-Barnes integral representations of solutions of the quantum differential equations for a wide class of smooth projective varieties, including Fano complete intersections in projective spaces. In the third and final part of the paper, as an application, we show how to use the new analytic tools, introduced in the previous parts, in order to study the quantum differential equations of Hirzebruch surfaces. This finally leads to the proof of Dubrovin Conjecture for all Hirzebruch surfaces.
