Abstract:We calculate one-loop R-parity-violating couplings corrections to the processes H → � ¯ �� and H → b¯. We find that the corrections to the H → � ¯ �� decay mode are generally about 0.1%, and can be negligible. But the corrections to the H → b¯ t decay mode can reach a few percent for the favored parameters.

Abstract:In this article, we discuss various phenomenological implications of possible R-parity violating (RPV) supersymmetric scenarios. In this context, the implications of both bilinear and trilinear RPV terms are reviewed from the viewpoint of neutrino physics, anomalous muon magnetic moment, different flavor observables, and collider physics. Apart from discussing the distinctive phenomenological implications of the RPV scenarios, we also survey the updated results from different studies to highlight the present status of the RPV couplings.

Abstract:We study the branching ratios, the direct CP asymmetries in $B\to K^{(*)}\bar{K}^{(*)}$ decays and the polarization fractions of $B\to K^{*}\bar{K}^{*}$ decays by employing the QCD factorization in the minimal supersymmetric standard model with R-parity violation. We derive the new upper bounds on the relevant R-parity violating couplings from the latest experimental data of $B\to K^{(*)}\bar{K}^{(*)}$, and some of these constraints are stronger than the existing bounds. Using the constrained parameter spaces, we predict the R-parity violating effects on the other quantities in $B\to K^{(*)}\bar{K}^{(*)}$ decays which have not been measured yet. We find that the R-parity violating effects on the branching ratios and the direct $CP$ asymmetries could be large, nevertheless their effects on the longitudinal polarizations of $B\to K^{*}\bar{K}^{*}$ decays are small. Near future experiments can test these predictions and shrink the parameter spaces.

Abstract:In this short reappraisal of spontaneous lepton number violation in a supersymmetric scenario implemented through singlet sneutrino vacuum expectation value (VEV), we contribute with two new things in the context where the lepton number symmetry is global: (i) provide explicit expressions of $R$-parity violating couplings in terms of the neutrino Yukawa couplings and the singlet sneutrino VEV, and (ii) estimate the limit on this VEV using the current knowledge of the light neutrino mass and the astrophysical constraint on the Majoron-electron coupling. Besides, we put updated constraints on the VEV and Yukawa coupling of the singlet superfield when lepton number is gauged.

Abstract:We investigate the role of R-parity violating interaction in the non-leptonic decays of B mesons into two light mesons B --> PP. The decay amplitudes are calculated using the QCD improved factorization method. Using the combined data on B decays from BaBar, Belle and CLEO, we obtain strong constraints on the various products of R-parity violating couplings. Many of these new constraints are stronger than the existing bounds.

Abstract:The theoretically clean channel B+ -> tau+ nu shows a close to 3sigma discrepancy between the Standard Model prediction and the data. This in turn puts a strong constraint on the parameter space of a two-Higgs doublet model, including R-parity conserving supersymmetry. The constraint is so strong that it almost smells of fine-tuning. We show how the parameter space opens up with the introduction of suitable R-parity violating interactions, and release the tension between data and theory.

Abstract: We explain the enhancement in semileptonic decays of $\bar B \to D^{(*)} \tau \bar \nu$, the anomalies induced by $b\to s\mu^+\mu^-$ in $\bar B\to (K, K^*, \phi)\mu^+\mu^-)$ and violation of lepton universality in $R_K = Br(\bar B\to K \mu^+\mu^-)/Br(\bar B\to K e^+e^-)$ within the framework of R-parity violating (RPV) MSSM. Exchange of down type right-handed squark coupled to quarks and leptons yield the appropriate interactions. The Yukawa couplings have severe constraints from other rare processes in $B$ and $D$ decays, but a hierarchical structure can be chosen to fit the data. We discuss several future experiments that can help establish the proposed model. The most salient features involves observation of squark at around 1 TeV, a similar enhancement semileptonic decays for $\bar B \to (\rho, \pi)\tau \bar \nu, \bar B\to \tau \nu$ as that for $\bar B \to D^{(*)} \tau \bar \nu$ and lepton universality violation in $\bar B \to K(K^*) \tau^+\tau^-$ and $\bar B \to K(K^*) \tau^\pm \mu^{\mp}$ channels.

Abstract:R-parity violating terms in the minimal supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model are studied within a parametrization characterized by a single vacuum expectation value for the scalar components of the Y = -1/2 superfields. The benefits of this efficient parametrization are that it enables phenomenological analyses of R-parity violation without a priori assumptions (such as setting most R-parity violating terms to zero in an ad hoc way). The tree-level fermionic mass eigenstates are derived and shown to be particularly simple in this scheme, involving only the bilinear mu(i) Pi-parity violating terms. Suprisingly large values of these mu(i) are consistent with the experimantal constraints. This is outlined.

Abstract:We calculate contributions to ${B}_{s}\mathrm{\text{\ensuremath{-}}}{\overline{B}}_{s}$ mixing through tree-level sneutrino exchange in the framework of the minimal supersymmetric standard model with $R$-parity violation, including the next-to-leading-order QCD corrections. We compare our results with the updated bounds on the ${B}_{s}\mathrm{\text{\ensuremath{-}}}{\overline{B}}_{s}$ mass difference reported by CDF collaborations and present new constraints on the relevant combinations of parameters of the minimal supersymmetric standard model with $R$-parity violation. Our results show that upper bound on the relevant combination of couplings of ${B}_{s}\mathrm{\text{\ensuremath{-}}}{\overline{B}}_{s}$ mixing is of the order ${10}^{\ensuremath{-}9}$. We also calculate the ${B}_{d}^{0}\mathrm{\text{\ensuremath{-}}}{\overline{B}}_{d}^{0}$ and ${K}^{0}\mathrm{\text{\ensuremath{-}}}{\overline{K}}^{0}$ mass differences and show that the upper bounds on the relevant combinations of couplings are 2 and 4 orders of magnitude stronger than ones reported in the literatures, respectively. We also discuss the case of complex couplings and show that how the relevant combinations of couplings are constrained by the updated experiment data of ${B}_{s}\mathrm{\text{\ensuremath{-}}}{\overline{B}}_{s}$, ${B}_{d}\mathrm{\text{\ensuremath{-}}}{\overline{B}}_{d}$ mixing and time-dependent $CP$ asymmetry ${S}_{J/\ensuremath{\psi}{K}_{s}}$, and future possible observations of ${S}_{J/\ensuremath{\psi}\ensuremath{\phi}}$ at the Large Hadron Collider beauty experiment (LHCb), respectively.
The ABC of RPV: Classification of R-Parity Violating Signatures at the LHC for Small Couplings

Abstract:We perform a classification of all potential supersymmetric $R$-parity violating signatures at the LHC to address the question: are existing bounds on supersymmetric models robust, or are there still signatures not covered by existing searches, allowing LHC-scale supersymmetry to be hiding? We analyze all possible scenarios with one dominant RPV trilinear coupling at a time, allowing for arbitrary LSPs and mass spectra. We consider direct production of the LSP, as well as production via gauge-cascades, and find 6 different experimental signatures for the $LL\bar E$-case, 6 for the $LQ\bar D$-case, and 5 for the $\bar U\bar D\bar D$-case; together these provide complete coverage of the RPV-MSSM landscape. This set of signatures is confronted with the existing searches by \texttt{ATLAS} and \texttt{CMS}. We find all signatures have been covered at the LHC, although not at the sensitivity level needed to probe the direct production of all LSP types. For the case of a dominant $LL\bar E$-operator, we use \texttt{CheckMATE} to quantify the current lower bounds on the supersymmetric masses and find the limits to be comparable to or better than the $R$-parity conserving case. Our treatment can be easily extended to scenarios with more than one non-zero RPV coupling.

Abstract:Here we give a broad overview of the more natural spectra allowed by the LHC when $UDD$ $R$-parity violation is allowed. Because $R$-parity violation removes the missing energy signals in colliders, the experimental constraints on the gluino, stops, sbottoms, and Higgsinos are relatively mild. We also show that $UDD$ $R$-parity violation and lepton number conservation can be made consistent with grand unification. This feat is achieved through the product unification, $SU(5)\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}U(3)$. In this model, mixing of the standard model quarks with additional quarklike particles charged under the $U(3)$ generate a $UDD$ $R$-parity violating operator. Furthermore, these models are also capable of generating a ``natural'' spectra. The emergence of these more natural low-scale spectra relies heavily on the fact that the gaugino masses are nonuniversal, a natural consequence of product unification.

We obtain improved results from (a) lepton flavour violating (LFV) meson decays, (b) LFV deep-inelastic scattering and (c) a combination of the two.

Abstract:R-parity conservation is an nd hoc assumption in the most popular version of the supersymmetric standard model. Most studies of models which do allow for R-parity violation have been restricted to various limiting scenarios. The single-VEV parametrization used in this paper provides a workable framework to analyze phenomenology of the most general theory of SUSY without R parity. We perform a comprehensive study of leptonic phenomenology at the tree level. Experimental constraints on various processes are studied individually and then combined to yield regions of admissible parameter space. In particular we show that large R-parity violating bilinear couplings are not ruled out, especially for large tan beta.

Abstract:We investigate in detail the effects of R-parity lepton number violation in the minimal supersymmetric standard model (MSSM) on top-quark pair production via both e(-)-e(+) and gamma-gamma collision modes at the linear colliders. We find that with the present experimental constrained R parameters, the effect of R interactions on the processes e(+)e(-)-->t (t) over bar and e(+)e(-)-->gammagamma-->t (t) over bar could be significant and may reach -30% and several percent, respectively. Our results show that the R effects are sensitive to the c.m. system energy and the relevant R parameters. However, they are not sensitive to squark and slepton masses when m(q)greater than or equal to400 GeV (or m(l)greater than or equal to300 GeV) and are almost independent of tan beta.
