Abstract:With the construction and building market continuously deepening of reform the management system, the aim of this thesis is that improve the project quality, shorten the construction period, reduce the project cost and realize a safe and civilized construction, it must use scientific methods to optimize the design of construction organization to co-ordinate the whole construction process. I used to work in Savoniallina PR-Urakointi Oy. It is a construction company which focus on house and bridge construction. The construction organization design and project cost what I have been introduced in this thesis is based on my working experience. This thesis is mainly introduced four parts including Construction Design, Organization Design and Project Cost, The very first key is controlling the construction cost, if the enterprises ignore this work, they will lose long-term profits and cannot adapt to the demands of development. The success construction enterprises which are gradually bigger and stronger are a good exam to show the importance of choosing a right management system in a project. Improving construction methods, controlling cost effectively, allocating resources equitably and aiming at maximum profit are vital to enterprises development. .

Abstract:At the early age, the microstructure formation of concrete is very sensitive to the environmental conditions. A slight variation of temperature and humidity at early age will have significant influence on the macro properties of mature concrete. So the long-term service performance of concrete structure is highly related with the environmental conditions during construction. And at the same time, for concrete, the whole construction procedure, such as casting, form removal, and curing, can be also taken as a series of changes of environmental conditions and loads. As environmental conditions and construction procedure are all time dependent, so the construction will influence the service performance of concrete structure dynamically. Although the environmental conditions during construction can not be changed, while the construction procedure can be optimized accordingly to adapt to the varying environmental conditions to improve the service performance of concrete structure. As a result, a quantitative analysis and optimization on concrete structure construction will have extensive impact on civil engineering. In this research, a new method was proposed to design and optimize the construction procedure of concrete structure. Through a monitoring system, the early-age temperature and humidity during the construction process, inside and outside the concrete structure, were recorded. In considering the influence of construction procedure on the service performance of concrete structure, the casting, form removal, and curing were all quantified as the time-dependant environmental parameters applied on concrete structure. Based on the hydration theory of cementitous materials, the long-term service performance of concrete structure was evaluated and predicted. Then the influence of construction program on the service performance of concrete structure was analyzed utilizing this evaluation system, and fed back to optimize the construction procedure. And an engineering project was also provided to verify the application value of the method.

Abstract:The optimal design of agent capability requirement and the distribution of coordination and decision center (CDC) in CDC-based supply chain management are discussed. The problem of agent capability requirement design is explored from two different aspects: process efficiency and task performance. A PERT network diagram model and a nonlinear programming model are established.The Modified Feasible Method(MFM) is adopted to reduce computational complexity of the nonlinear programming model. On the CDC design, the index of coordination is proposed, the optimal model is built, and a modified hierarchical clustering algorithm is proposed to address the imperfection of classification and the complexity of computation. Its superiority of performance over hierarchical clustering algorithm is illustrated by a stochastic simulation experiment.

Abstract:This article explores the integration of Operations Research (OR) principles in the design and management of on-site construction organizations. The first section introduces Operations Research as a multidisciplinary field that employs mathematical modelling, statistical analysis, and optimization techniques to enhance decision-making processes across various sectors. Key aspects such as mathematical modelling, optimization, decision analysis, simulation, queueing theory, linear programming, and game theory are highlighted. The second section focuses on the design of on-site construction organizations, emphasizing the structure and organization of resources, personnel, and processes essential for efficient project execution. Various key elements, including project management, site personnel, project support teams, engineering and design teams, health and safety personnel, procurement and supply chain, communication and coordination, equipment and maintenance, and environmental compliance, are discussed. The third section delves into the application of Operations Research techniques in the design and management of on-site construction organizations. It outlines how OR principles can be employed for resource allocation and optimization, project scheduling and planning, inventory management, equipment utilization, project costing and budgeting, risk management, supply chain management, human resource management, facility layout and design, and the development of decision support systems. The conclusion highlights that the strategic application of Operations Research methodologies contributes to enhanced efficiency, optimized resources, and improved decision-making throughout the construction project lifecycle. The integration of OR principles not only enhance the overall effectiveness of on-site construction organizations but also leads to cost savings, timely project completion, and improved project outcomes. As construction projects continue to grow in scale and complexity, the systematic and analytical approach provided by Operations Research becomes increasingly valuable in addressing the intricate challenges faced by construction stakeholders.

Abstract:To achieve the consistency of interaction semantics between customer and designer, and good mapping form function domain to design domain in mass-customized product configuration design, a from of product requirement meta-information is introduced using tabular layouts of article characteristics to keep consistent presentation of product information in different applications through standardizing the product data format. Abstract:With the rapid advancement of the informatization process of China's construction industry, the requirements for the integration of engineering design and construction are getting higher and higher. The quality of engineering design and the level of design management directly affect the quality of construction. The emergence of the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) model overcomes the shortcomings of the traditional contracting model, but it is still not ideal in terms of work integration and information transmission. BIM (building information modeling) is a collaborative process of creating, managing and exchanging information throughout the construction project. BIM has revolutionized the construction, engineering and construction (AEC) industry. This paper examines the problems related to current project design management in China and their causes. On the basis of summarizing the existing research on design management, it introduces a form of BIM integrating design BIM and construction BIM, so as to better depict the leading role of design in the construction process. By analyzing the changes in organizational management and communication methods brought about by BIM, this paper optimizes and innovates upon the traditional project design process in view of the problems in project practice. It advances BIM design work, increases detailed BIM design work and enables the downstream participants to intervene in the design stage, so as to develop a more smooth and efficient design workflow, which provides operable work detail guidance for BIM-based design management in the future.

Abstract:Aimming at characters of the command architecture under the information circumstances,an algorithm is proposed to optimize command structure based on complex networks.The order degree of organization was viewed as objective function.The criticality of edge was considered as moderator.Then the optimization model and algorithm were built and used in the case.And indicators of command system about average path length、clustering coefficient、degree distribution and invulnerability of network etc were compared before and after optimization.And then the optimization command network was gotten.The algorithm was a certain reference value and guiding significance about the optimization of command process.

Abstract:In order to improve the efficiency of design and construction for bridge works,BIM(Building Information Modeling) is proposed for application.Through the analysis of the characteristics of bridge works and relevant problems,the BIM-based solutions for design optimization and construction optimization are developed,including conceptual design optimization,detailed design optimization,the optimization of construction sequences,construction scheduling,and construction management.A practical case is also presented to demonstrate the feasibility and validity of the solutions.It is shown that BIM has the potential to improve the design and construction of bridge works.The research will benefit mega-complex bridge projects which adopt BIM to aid in design and construction in the future.
