Abstract:Based on the front moulding platen BT2200V-II of an injection molding machine company in Zhejiang Province,this paper aims to seek the best scheme of material distribution of platens,employing the finite element software ANSYS to optimize the topology.In addition,it is to determine the actual structure size of the front moulding platen by means of parameter optimization.The final objective of this paper is to examine the rationality and usability of the optimized moulding structures by comparing the finite elements of the opitimized front moulding platen with that of the original one.

Abstract:The design process of the injection mould for the Lithium battery heat dissipation device connector bottom cover is described in detail. In the design process, the UG software is used to establish the three-dimensional model of the plastic part, and the mould flow analysis is carried out with the help of the moldflow software to determine the optimal gate position of the plastic part. By determining the injection process parameters of Lithium battery heat dissipation device connector bottom cover material, the design of the cavity layout of the plastic part is completed, and the basic size and mould structure of the mould base are determined. Then, the UG injection mould design guide module was used to carry out the parting design, and the structural design of the mould's gating system, molding parts, lateral parting mechanism, core-pulling mechanism, ejection mechanism, exhaust system and cooling system was completed in turn. The whole design process improved the efficiency of mould design and saved a lot of time and cost.

Abstract:Abstract: The oblique guide column lateral core extraction mechanism and oblique push rod inner core extraction mechanism have been designed to address molding and demolding issues with plastic parts' inner buckles and side wall holes. The aim is to simplify the mold structure as much as possible while maximizing effectiveness and one-time success rate. Injection molding simulation using Moldflow software and DOE experimental design analysis have been utilized to determine the best pouring system and cooling system. Based on simulation and optimization results, the product mold structure has been designed using UG software with a two-cavity layout and latent point gating. The entire design process is based on Moldflow and UG software, thereby reducing design cycle, simplifying mold trial process and cutting costs. This mold design can be used as a reference for other plastic products with similar structures.

Abstract:In order to solve the filling defect problem of an automobile safety buckle part with a steel insert,the material flow in the mould was analyzed.The results showed that some regions of the steel insert would hinder the material flow in the mould cavity.In this paper,a deflector hole was added to the steel insert near the hard-filling zone to decrease the material flow resistance.According to the improvement of the insert structure and opti-mization of the molding process,the difficulty of the coating injection process was reduced and the filling problem was solved.The material utilization of the steel insert and the appearance of the injection part were also improved.

Abstract:The shape of injection molding seat is complex with large size.The traditional mold design method can not meet the producing requirements.In this paper,using modern mold design methods,combined with the principle of ergonomics and Pro/E software proceed seat 3D modeling,further more using CAE software Moldflow/MPI proceeds injection molding simulation analysis on seat model.The results show that the design of seat can meet the requirements of the manufacturer,and the seat produced is simple,comfortable,graceful,aesthetic.The parameters of molding process are optimized.

Abstract:A micro injection mold was designed and manufactured.Micro silicon mold with micro runner and gate were made by using photoetching and ionetching.PP(polypropylene) was used as material in this micro injection molding experiment.Micro-structured parts and micro parts were made by micro injection molding process.The least microstructure is the micro column with 50μm diameter.The least isolated micro parts are the micro disks with 300μm diameter and 300μm thickness.Effect of injection pressure,mold temperature and pressure holding time on micro injection molding were analyzed.Temperature of mold is the most important factor of them,and the injection pressure and pressure holding time take the second place.

Abstract:Aiming at the property of the micro dish-shaped parts ,a combining micro blanking process with micro deep drawing process is studied ,and the corresponding composite mold is designed. The processes of shallow hemisphere drawing ,punching and blanking are accomplished in only one blanking stroke,which can reduce the positioning and installation tolerances,processing time and manufacturing cost of mold with multi-step forming. The method decrease position deviation of micro dish-shaped parts′ feature structure,so as to achieve high quality and high efficiency way to manufacture micro dish-shaped parts ,and easy to ensure the consistency of the part feature size with composite molding process.

Abstract:The moulding process of automobile anterior intraparietal guard plate was analysed,the CAD/ CAE/CAM design ideas and methods of its injection mould were described,and the designs of parting surface,exhaust system,gating system,cooling system and general mould structure were introduced in detail.Then taking the core model as an example,the NC machining process and tool path simulation of the forming surface and parting surface NC machining process and tool path simulation were analysed.The application shows that,the mould structure design is reasonable,the numerical control processing craft of the fixed model core is feasible,and the qualified plastic parts can be obtained by injection moulding.

Abstract:In this work SolidWorks software was used to design the mold structure of model 209 all-open easy open lid. Firstly, the high-speed forming process of basic lid and finished lid in model 209 all-open easy open lid was analyzed. Then the mold design for its auxiliary engraving line and stop-slip point was carried out, and the convex and concave die of the first station was theoretically analyzed. Finally, the 3D mold structure design for the basic cover, finished cover and pull ring was carried out, and 209 type fully open type easy open cover general assembly drawing was designed. Some practical problems such as interference and position relation ware solved in die design. It has certain guiding significance to the design of easy opening lid.
