Abstract:In this paper, a nonperiodic discrete nonlinear equation with Jacobi operators is considered. By using the critical point theory, we establish some new sufficient conditions on the existence and multiplicity of homoclinic solutions. Recent results are generalized and significantly improved. Abstract:The aim of this paper is to study the solvability of a third-order nonlinear neutral delay differential equation of the form {α(t)[β(t)(x(t)+p(t)x(t−τ))′]′}′+f(t,x(σ1(t)),x(σ2(t)),…,x(σn(t)))=0, t≥t0. By using the Krasnoselskii's fixed point theorem and the Schauder's fixed point theorem, we demonstrate the existence of uncountably many bounded nonoscillatory solutions for the above differential equation. Several nontrivial examples are given to illustrate our results.

Abstract:Motivated by nonautonomous difference equations, we study a functional equation with nonautonomous iteration of order n for bounded solutions and unbounded solutions. We give a condition for the existence of bounded solutions in the case that a given function is bounded and a condition for the existence of unbounded solutions in the case that a given function is unbounded. We also discuss the existence of unbounded solutions in the case that a given function is bounded.

Methods According to Schauder fixed points theorem, several continuous self-maps in sets of functions were created. Results and Conclusion The equation's solution exists in [-δ, δ], keeps strict monotony in different areas and the domain can be extended to R.

It is shown that under some conditions on $f$ and byusing symplectic transformations, Floquet theory and some resultsin critical point theory, the existence of single periodicsolution of the differential delay equation $(*)$ is obtained.These results generalize previous results on the cases that theequations are autonomous.
