Let {an}, {bn}, {cn} {a'n}, {b'n}, {c'n} be six real sequences in [0; 1] satisfying the following conditions: (i)an + bn + cn = a'n + b'n + c'n = 1, (ii) lim n→∞ bn = lim n→∞ b'n = lim n→∞ c'n = 0, (iii) ∑∞ n=0 bn = ∞, (iv)cn = o(bn). For arbitrary x0 Є E, define the Ishikawa iterative process with errors {xn}∞ n=0 by (ISE): Yn = a'nxn + b'nSxn + c'nvn, xn+1 = anxn + bnSyn + cnun, n ≥ 0. where S: E → E is defined by Sx = f +x – Tx, f Є E, Ax Є E. The existence theorem of a fixed point of a weak generalized φ -pseudocontractive mapping is obtained. Abstract:The purpose of this paper is to investigate the problem of flnding a common flxed point of Lipschitz mappings. We introduce a multistep Ishikawa iteration approximation method which is based upon the Ishikawa iteration method and the Noor iteration method, and we prove some necessary and su-cient conditions for the strong convergence of the it- eration scheme to a common flxed point of a flnite family of quasi-Lipschitz mappings and pseudocontractive mappings, respectively. In particular, we establish a strong convergence theorem of the sequence generated by the multistep Ishikawa scheme to a common flxed point of nonexpansive mappings. As applications, some numerical experiments of the multistep Ishikawa iteration algorithm are given to demonstrate the convergence results.

Abstract:In this paper, a kind of Ishikawa type iterative scheme with errors for approximating a common fixed point of two sequences of uniformly quasi-Lipschitzian mappings is introduced and studied in convex metric spaces. Under some suitable conditions, the convergence theorems concerned with the Ishikawa type iterative scheme with errors to approximate a common fixed point of two sequences of uniformly quasi-Lipschitzian mappings were proved in convex metric spaces.
