A New 3D Measurement Method in Reverse Engineering

Abstract:The acquirement of 3D measurement data is key step in Reverse Engineering. Different with laser scanning and phase-shift measurement, a new method based on image recognition and stereovision is discussed. Compare with other methods, the method can have significantly improve the precision and can be widely applied in many fields. The emendation of system parameters, the logic sequence of projection image and correspondence recognized program are given. The effect factor of projected image is found. According to these, the 3D data calculation is discussed for recognized fitted curve, and the problem of sampling and numerical calculation method is solved. The practical experiment verifies the feasibility of the method.
