Abstract:After some restrictions are given on the parameters of iteration,a strong convergence theorem of explicit composite iteration scheme for nonexpansive semi-groups is given by using the properties of non-expansive semigroups and the technique of Banach limit in the framework of Banach spaces.

Abstract:Let C be a nonempty closed convex subset of a real Hilbert space H. Consider a nonexpansive semigroup S = {T(s) : 0 ≤ s < ∞} on C with a common fixed point, a contraction f : C → C with the coefficient 0 < α < 1 and a strongly positive linear bounded self-adjoint operator A : C → C with the coefficient γ > 0. Assume that 0 < γ < γ/α.It is proved that the sequence {x n} generated in the iterative process: for each n ≥ 0 converges strongly to a common fixed point x* ∈ F(S), where P C denotes the metric projection from H onto C and F(S) denotes the common fixed point of the nonexpansive semigroup. The point x* solves the variational inequality 〈(γf - A)x*, x - x*〉 ≤ 0 for all x ∈ F(S).

Abstract:Let X be a uniformly convex Banach space, and S, T be pair of mean nonexpansive mappings.Some necessary and sufficient conditions are given for Ishikawa iterative sequence converge to common fixed points, and we prove that the sequence of Ishikawa iterations associated with S and T converges to the common fixed point of S and T .This generalizes former results proved by Z. Gu and Y. Li [4].

Abstract:We have suggested a new modified iterative scheme for approximating a common fixed point of two $ G $-nonexpansive mappings. Our approach was based on an iterative scheme in the context of Banach spaces via directed graphs. First, we proved a weak convergence theorem using the Opial's property of the underlying space. A weak convergence result without the Opial's property was also given. After this, we established several strong convergence theorems using various mild conditions. We also carried out some numerical simulations to examine the main techniques. Eventually, we obtained an application of our result to solve split feasibility problems (SFP) in the context of $ G $-nonexpansive mappings.

Abstract:In this paper, we first introduced a new class of generalized non-expansive mappings, which was larger than the class satisfying the condition $ B_{\gamma, \mu } $. Also, we proposed a new iterative process to approximate the fixed point of the mapping we introduced in this work, then we prove convergence theorems for these mappings by using our iteration process. Lastly, a numerical example was given to show the efficiency of this new iteration process. Our results were the extension and generalization of many known results in the literature in fixed point theory.

Abstract:We study some convergence of two kinds of implicit iteration processes for approximating common fixed points of a pseudo-contractive semigroup in uniformly convex Banach spaces with uniformly Gateaux differential norms. As special cases, we get some convergence of the implicit iteration processes for approximating common fixed points of a nonexpansive semigroup in uniformly smooth Banach spaces and give a positive answer to an open problem proposed by Xu in Bull. Austral. Math. Soc. (2005). The results presented in this paper generalise some corresponding results from Osilike in Panamer. Math. J. (2004), Suzuki in Proc. Amer. Math. Soc. (2002) and Xu in Bull. Austral. Math. Soc. (2005).

Abstract:In this work, we introduced an iterative algorithm for finding a common element of the set of common fixed points of a one-parameter nonexpansive semigroup, the set of solutions to a variational inclusion and the set of solutions to a generalized equilibrium problem in a real Hilbert space. Furthermore, we proved the convergence theorem of the proposed iterative algorithm under some mild conditions on algorithm parameters. Finally, we gave some numerical examples which support our main theorem at last part. The results presented in this paper generalize the well-known theorems.

Abstract:The aim of the paper is to construct an iterative method for finding the fixed points of nonexpansive mappings. We introduce a general implicit iterative scheme for finding an element of the set of fixed points of a nonexpansive mapping defined on a nonempty closed convex subset of a real Hilbert space. The strong convergence theorem for the proposed iterative scheme is proved under certain assumptions imposed on the sequence of parameters. Our results extend and improve the results given by Ke and Ma [Y. Ke, C. Ma, Fixed Point Theory Appl., 2015 (2015), 21 pages], Xu et al. [H. K. Xu, M. A. Alghamdi, N. Abstract:We study the strong convergence of two kinds of viscosity iteration processes for approximating common fixed points of the pseudocontractive semigroup in uniformly convex Banach spaces with uniformly Gâteaux differential norms. As special cases, we get the strong convergence of the implicit viscosity iteration process for approximating common fixed points of the nonexpansive semigroup in Banach spaces satisfying some conditions. The results presented in this paper extend and generalize some results concerned with the nonexpansive semigroup in (Chen and He, 2007) and the pseudocontractive mapping in (Zegeye et al., 2007) to the pseudocontractive semigroup in Banach spaces under different conditions.

Abstract:This article briefly surveys some recent progress in the investigation of Halpern's iterative algorithm for approximating fixed points of nonexpansive mappings. An implicit iterative method is first discussed, followed by details on strong convergence of Halpern's iteration in various cases, covering averaged mappings, perturbation techniques, common fixed points for finite family of nonexpansive mappings, and the viscosity approximation method. Extensions of Halpern's iteration to nonexpansive semigroups and Hadamard manifolds are discussed. Applications to the split feasibility and the multiple-sets split feasibility problems, and accretive operators are also included.
