Abstract:A new method is presented to solve the open architecture problem and to improve the reliability of CNC system by using software reuse and component technology in this paper. At first,the feasibility of developing CNC system with software component is discussed, and the conception of CNC software components and the integrated and normative description of the component are also offered. Under this condition, this paper introduces a method for the analysis of reuse and the common principles that should be followed in the process for developing CNC systems with software component technology. Then the steps for developing software CNC system is described from the points of view of a developer and a consumer respectively. In the end,an example demonstrating the specific implement of this kind of thought is shown. This method is proved to be effective by developing a prototype example.

Abstract:Recently, the government pays much attention to the development of CNC system. However the CNC system still develops very slowly and the high-end system doesn't have corresponding high performance, which is caused by three facts. The complex interaction between CNC system modules makes it difficult to improve its structure and function. Due to the low degree of open source, the available resources can't be reached in the design and development process, making the whole project inefficient. Furthermore, it's hard for a small team to make full use of all resources in the society to develop CNC systems, and this prevents making many function blocks such as processing block better. Briefly, CNC system develops very slowly because 1) it is always developed as an entirety in the past; 2) it is not open source enough; 3) manufacture technology don't fully benefit the system. Now the development of computer and information science makes it possible to take advantage of component technology to establish soft CNC system. What's more, the experience of massive skilled workers can be quantified and collected using the internet. The development of CNC industry and technology is analyzed and CNC application (CNC APP) is proposed to break the bottleneck of CNC development and facilitate its development.

Computer Integrated Manufacturing Systems

Abstract:The reconfigurable CNC system plays an important role for the Reconfigurable Manufacturing Systems. The relationship between Reconfigurable Manufacturing Systems, Reconfigurable CNC system and open CNC system was analyzed to synthesize CNC system by the hardware and software mode. The focus is on a new application of Field Programmable Gates Array(FPGA) in Reconfiguralbe CNC system, which integrated Programmable Logical Device and Reconfigurable Hardware Technology. After the investigation of its possibility and economic feasibility, the future development of this system is predicted, so that CNC systems can be reconfigurated with this innovative method. An example of economical reconfigurable CNC system is provided to test its feasibility and availability.

Abstract:In the industrial era, production equipment serves as an essential mother machine. In the global manufacturing industry, components such as laptop computers, mobile phones, and automotive parts all strive for aesthetic appearance. Taiwan's machine tool industry plays a significant role globally. Faced with the constantly changing market environment, the development and competitive advantage of CNC machines are crucial topics for manufacturers. Domestic manufacturers of computer numerical control machines should move towards the integration of automated equipment to accommodate various advanced parts processing procedures. Smart manufacturing will become the trend of the industry in the future. This study invited experts from academia, industry, and research institutions to conduct expert interviews. Their opinions were compiled and analyzed, supplemented by fuzzy Delphi analysis to establish the development trends of various modules. The feasibility and demand of the product's functional technology for industrial development were analyzed under three research dimensions and eight technical items. A total of 26 key sub-technical items were identified, achieving an expert consensus level of over 80. Furthermore, the importance ranking was analyzed using the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process, and the consistency tests were passed with C.I. < 0.1 and C.R. < 0.1. Finally, the obtained importance ranking of the hierarchical structure was used to predict the future development of computer numerical control machines through a technology roadmap, helping manufacturers use it as a reference model for future development trends to enhance market competitiveness.

Abstract:To realize the interoperation and integration in CNC, a CNC programming model is illustrated. According to CNC function, CNC system data structures are studied and function models based on XML Schema are established. The CNC network programming technology is studied, and the CNC software system includes three layers: Web Services requester, Web Services provider and Web Services monitor, thus a CNC programming model based on XML Web Services is established. Web Services in CNC application and equipments are studied. By experiments, the programming model based on XML Web Services is proved to be effective in trans-platform and trans-regional seamless integration and collaborative operation of numerical control equipments.

Abstract:Abstract Accuracy is a key quality characteristic of CNC machine tools, reflecting the pros and cons of machine tool performance. Accuracy is affected by performance failures of CNC machine tools, such as vibration, friction, and heat transfer. Therefore, it is difficult to accurately model and comprehensively analyse the accuracy of the machine tool by studying the influence of certain factors on the accuracy of the CNC machine tool in isolation, which makes it difficult to find out the problems in the design or manufacturing process. The article analyses the current status and research significance of domestic CNC machine tool accuracy, expounds the domestic and foreign research status of CNC machine tool accuracy modelling method and CNC machine tool accuracy comprehensive analysis, summarizes the existing problems and development trends of CNC machine tool accuracy research, and compares it based on the meta-action. The theoretical systematic modelling of the accuracy of CNC machine tools and the key issues of comprehensive evaluation of the accuracy of CNC machine tools combined with the meta-action chain provide insights and provide analytical methods for the design and manufacture of CNC machine tools.

Abstract:The application of intelligent computer numerical control(CNC) technology enjoys a key strategic position in various countries, and countries that attach importance to the development of CNC machine tools and their fields of innovation branches generally have a solid foundation of intelligent manufacturing and strong production capacity. Combined with big data and artificial intelligence, CNC technology has become an important cornerstone of smart manufacturing. In order to achieve the goal of sustainable development, the machinery manufacturing industry should not only improve product accuracy and enrich product types, but also shorten the production cycle as much as possible and avoid the impact of human errors on product quality. Based on this, this paper mainly analyzes in detail the actual development of machinery manufacturing based on intelligent robot numerical control technology in order to provide some help for the long-term development of the industry. This paper is dedicated to the visualization of relevant data and finally provides a reliable basis for the corresponding decision-making based on the current actual development of intelligent CNC technology. After this paper analyzes the current situation of the industry, we find that intelligent numerical control technology has a vital role in the intelligent transformation of China's industry, high-tech innovation, and rationalization of AI applications, and we hope that this paper can provide a reference for China's industrial production industry.
