Abstract:In the U.S.higher education system,the management of academic programs generally assumes a style of negotiation between the inside and outside stakeholders of universities and between the government and universities. Although the approval and adjustment of academic programs are free from the restriction of a program catalog,they are subject to the government's supervision and society's participation.The shared governance among the universities, government and society ensures the flexibility,diversity and orderliness of the development of academic programs. This article introduces the management systems and operation mechanisms of program management at the state governments and universities,and analyzes their unique features and experience.

Abstract:Undergraduate education is the basic stage of personnel training.Quantification assessment of undergraduate teaching in internal departments of universities is an effective way to improve the teaching quality and establish long-effect mechanism of teaching quality evaluation.Taking zhejiang university as an example,this paper discusses the construction of undergraduate teaching quality evaluation system in research university.From three levels of input,output,and process,this paper briefly introduces quality evaluation method and analysis methods of the undergraduate teaching quality with the hope of providing referential practice guidelines to undergraduate education evaluation in domestic internal departments of research universities.

Abstract:To improve the quality of its colleges and universities, China has carried out five rounds of government-led evaluation of undergraduate teaching since the 1990s, and has gradually developed a “five-in-one” evaluation system. The evaluation system in China not only draws lessons from the systems of other countries, but also has its own characteristics. Nevertheless, problems persist in terms of the diversity of evaluation subjects, predominance of government management, lack of system standardization, somewhat arbitrary implementation, poor feedback channels for evaluation findings, and difficulty realizing the improvement function. In the future, China must increase the enthusiasm of colleges and universities by enhancing their role as evaluation subjects, while also strengthening evaluation laws, improving evaluation feedback channels, and genuinely allowing evaluation to play its critical role in improving education quality.

Abstract:In recent years, with the popularization of higher education, quality problems have become increasingly prominent, and government documents often propose that the main task of education reform and development is to improve the quality of higher education. As a result, teaching evaluations have appeared one after another. Although various evaluation activities are carried out dynamically, expert evaluation has proven to be one of the most effective methods to ensure professional quality. This will help improve the quality of human resource development, promote regional economic development, improve the quality assurance system of higher education, and promote the formation of professional skills development mechanisms. This article studies the teaching evaluation index system and intelligent evaluation methods of vocational undergraduate pilot colleges, understands the relevant knowledge of the teaching evaluation index system on the basis of literature data, and then, constructs the teaching evaluation system of vocational undergraduate pilot colleges. The constructed system is tested, and the test results show that the error of the results of teacher self-evaluation and student evaluation is controlled within the two, which also verifies that the construction of the teaching ability evaluation index system this time is reasonable and scientific.

Abstract:The curriculum standard is a programmatic document that integrates the content of curriculum objectives, curriculum resource construction, students’ academic performance, and important reference and basis for teachers’ curriculum teaching and curriculum management evaluation. The purpose of this paper is to study how to analyze and study the evaluation of applied undergraduate courses based on the BP neural network and describe the construction of the system. This paper proposes the construction of the course evaluation system, which is based on the BP neural network and then elaborates on its concept and related algorithms and designs and analyzes the construction of the application-oriented undergraduate course evaluation system. The experimental results show that 90.74% of the currently used curriculum standards meet the requirements of applied talents training, 88.89% indicated that the course content was well aligned with professional standards, and 5.19% believed that the design of practical teaching links had a great effect on improving students’ skills. The curriculum is the basic way of education, teachers are the main body of curriculum implementation, and students are the carriers of curriculum effects. Taking teachers, students, and courses as evaluation elements in curriculum evaluation can highlight the core position of curriculum evaluation in curriculum construction.

Abstract:How to assess the recruitment quality for university was described, how to estabish a entire theory basis and effective technical apprpoach was discussed. Based on analysis of examination scores of undergraduate students, and through inverse logic deduction, an assessment system of recruitment quality and study examination scores was designed. The assessment system is composed of four sub-systems, i.e. information enquiring, follow up assessment, data management and system administration. The main characteristics is that it is able to assess the education quality of high schools in different provinces by analyzing the comprehensive performance so the students, and able to assess education quality of a certain high school based on analyzing the examination scores during the period of undergraduate studying. In addition, combined with the software system of recruitment planning of State Education Commission, the coefficient could be determined by scientific and suitable parameters.
