Abstract:With the development of society, embedded products have been applied in all walks of life. According to the investigation of most embedded Windows CE data acquisition system, data transmission and storage management are not very good. In this paper we show how the USB interface and SQLite can be used to solve these problems. Using USB bus for data transfer, we can realize HID devices loaded dynamically and avoid writing redundant complicated USB drive. Using embedded database SQLite for data storage, the storage structure is more clear and easier to be managed. But Nandflash is limited to the number of reading and writing, so we put forward "two levels storage" concept of data storage structure based on the WinCE file system. Practice has shown that the USB and SQLite technology can be better to solve the data transfer and storage management issues.

Abstract:Aiming at the problem of the currently popular embedded operating system WinCE.NET,that is not fully supporting USB floppy driver,an implementing strategy for USB floppy based on WinCE.NET is put forward.By adopting stream interface driver model,the USB floppy driving program is developed;The control of USB floppy is implemented with UFI technology.The method and whole procedures for formatting USB floppy are given;the program has been applied successfully in ARM9-based multi-functional computerized embroidery machine.The program is simple and easy to use;it is good reference for developing driving program for similar USB devices.

Abstract:Taking advantages of the modular nature of Linux, a set of Linux modules were improved to make Linux run on various SoC. The module improvement was including: developing a target-specific bootloader, designing a memory management module for the MMU-less processor, real-time improvement in scheduling module and organizing a small footprint file system for the flash memory. These modules can be reassembled on demands, catering for different boards and applications. Moreover, methods for developing embedded Linux are concluded, including tool chains and debug techniques. Case studies on two hardware platforms, based on ARM720T and M68K respectively, shown that the work satisfies application requirements.

Abstract:Speed and accuracy of information access are essential in modern logistics operations. In this paper, the RFID technology is applied to logistics containers for keeping information dynamically, and the concept of information containers as opposed to logistics containersis put forward. In order to improve the efficiency of data access on tag, a set of RFID middleware named tag operation system (TOS) is proposed. Firstly, the tag memory is paged according to the length of the electronic product code (EPC). Secondly, a bitmap is built up in the tag memory to index the free memory space. Thirdly, the data storage format identifier (DSFID) is designed to make memory paging more flexible. Finally, real-time memory database is set up in the host computer to improve efficiency of tag data query. The experimental results show that TOS can greatly enhance the efficiency of the reader operations on tag. TOS can be widely applied to the applications of lifecycle management of articles. © Institute of Software Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Abstract:Aiming at issues of the modern embedded turbine supervisory instruments such as simplistic function, weak process power, low efficiency and so on, the technique of double CPUs with the cores of Intel PXA270 and Cyclone II EP2C20 microprocessors is employed in the present design. With embedded linux operating system and the developing platform of Qt software implemented, important functions such as data acquisition, data transfer based on TCP/IP protocols, display of data waveform, local storage of data, data analysis, elementary fault diagnosis and so forth can be achieved all together in a single facility. After tested on the Rotor Kit 4 of Bently Nevada and applied on 300MW turbine of the Power System Dynamic Simulation Laboratory in North China Electric Power University, the newly designed embedded turbine supervisory instruments show that the technique of double CPUs is effective, and the portable system can overcome the deficiencies of the modern embedded turbine supervisory instruments as mentioned above.

Abstract:The paper designs a module of data storage with U-Disk based on index file. It meets the fast storing requirement of a great deal of original data gained in the on-line profile measurement system of spiral weld steel pipe with large diameter. The module consists of DSP control system and extended USB host chip named CH375. It realizes the function of data storage in the U-Disk, using the program that embedded in DSP. A format of data storage based on index file is applied to improve the speed of file storage, and it leaves out the searching work of FAT area and root area on the U-Disk. Experiments show that the module is stable and has excellent transplantation. The module can be used in many other systems that need the function of fast data storage.

Abstract:To enhance flexibility of embed system,USB floppy driver is developed under WinCE.NET,based on the structure of stream interface driver,the characteristics of load mechanism of stream interface driver,UFI technology is used to control USB floppy,USB floppy format method and detailed process are presented finally.The driver has been successfully applied in the regional water monitoring and measuring instrument based on ARM9,and it extended the functionality of the instrument,a good reference value is provided for similar device.

Abstract:Compared with the traditional databases,embedded databases have smaller size,faster speed,and better portability.With the basic characteristics of embedded databases,the SQLite,written in the C programming language,is totally open-source.Based on the detailed research of the architecture and key components of SQLite,the design and implementation of the cellphone address book,which is based on Linux 2.6 and SQLite,is proposed in this article.And the system with s3c2440A,a LCD touch panel,Linux 2.6,and Matchbox as its desktop system,is used in the implementation.As the experiment indicates,this design and implementation consumes little resource,and has a good robustness,which can have some spreading value.

Abstract:An embedded system with complex embedded microprocessor inner resources and plentiful peripheral devices cannot work efficiently without the management of operating system. How to develop Boot Loader on the basis of the specific hardware platform is a key point and difficulty without question. The concept and function of embedded operating system booting program-Boot Loader which has multiple communication ports is introduced. Abstract:It's necessary to store a mass of data with high-speed in many cases when using embedded systems,for example,high-resolution inspection system for oil gas transmission pipelines.Normal data bus and flash memory is difficult to meet the requirements.To solve the problem,this article introduces a design of data store system based on SATA connection,controlled by high speed DSP and using FlashDisk as store medium.The storage speed can reach 32 Mbit / s and storage capacity is up to 120 GByte.This design solves the problem of a large number of data fast storage in embedded systems very well.

Abstract:A new sensor data recording system applied in the industrial field is designed.The hardware uses the high resolution,wide dynamic range 16 bit ∑-Δ chip AD7705 to acquire the sensor data,AD7705 links the microcontroller S3C2440A by SPI bus.Its software uses Linux as embedded operating system,and graphical programming language QT is chosen to design the application.The system is applied to the auto spring elastic testing system,acquiring directly the elastic sensor data,real-time displaying and controlling through the touch screen,meeting completely the high precision demands in the industrial field,having high engineering value in the other fields such as environmental monitoring.
