Abstract:To advance the reliability of mechanical and electrical equipments which work in high voltage field and ensure the security of workers,a remote monitor system based on PLC and MCU was designed.Meanwhile,by analyzing the radio interference of work environment,effective measures are taken to enable workers to monitor and control HVCR-Ⅱreliably.

Abstract:To meet the requirement of highly real-time, tremendous data transferring and complicated diagnostic causes of remote monitoring and fault diagnosis with power electronic equipment, a novel idea of distributed system with industrial PC (IPC) and PLC controlling field terminal is proposed in this paper. Based on the techniques of power electronics, fault diagnosis and network, a remote monitoring and fault diagnosis system with combination of a three-layer C/S structure and Internet is presented, which achieves with high compatibility between different equipment. Furthermore, the paper focuses on the discussion about the structure of compatible systems, the compatibility design of remote monitoring and the realization of field control equipment, such as the data collection sub-system, the real-time monitoring sub-system, the fault diagnosis sub-system and the data disposal and management sub-system, and the design of the data transferring sub-system and the communication protocol format.This work is supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China (No. 50207008).

Abstract:Remote power-supply technology and its states and foreground in modern application on network communication facilities were introduced.A new surveillant block design strategy with high compatibility and modularized was proposed.The structure of remote power-supply system,the hardware design scheme and software strategy on power-management of the power-distribution manager were presented.Experimental results indicate that the new design improves the efficiency of surveillance on the facilities under control,and realizes power distribution with accuracy and intelligence.

Abstract:In conventional high-voltage live work, operators are required to work near high-voltage cables, which poses risks such as falling and getting an electric shock. To promise the worker's safety, regional breakout of power is one of the common methods that the power sector would deploy. However, with the development of society, a lot of trouble will be brought about due to the economic loss and social impact caused by regional power outages, which pose higher requirements for the power sector. Hence, it is demanding to carry out a safe and effective method for high-voltage live work without power failure. In such a context, we have developed a dual-arm collaborative robotic system for high-voltage live work. The system includes a human-computer interaction interface and a pair of Omega handles, which allow workers to operate remotely at the control center. In laboratory experiments, the system can accurately complete stripping, trimming, and wiring operations. Also, some actions are pre-programmed inside the control system to realize simple operations automatically. This dual-arm robot collaboration system with a teleoperation function can greatly reduce the labor intensity of workers and ensure their safety.

Abstract:This paper proposes the construction mode of a two-level distributed alarming system, in which alarms are coordinately processed by substations and control center. In substation side, we classify alarms into several grades according to the degree of their importance and send the extracted key alarms to control center, thus reduce the amount of alarm passing and ensure the transmission reliability and speed; meanwhile, we carry out alarm verification and pretreatment through information redundancy to validate alarm correctness. In control center side, we integrate the data of ordinary Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and the alarms received directly from substations, and carry out comprehensive fault reasoning and correctness verification. In order to illustrate the feasibility of the substation-control center distributed alarming system, the overall structure, substation smart alarm (SSA), control center smart alarm (CCSA) and cooked data transmission of this construction mode will be discussed in detail.

Abstract:This paper designs and makes up a wireless monitoring and control system based on the wireless communication with several single chips and the nRF905 modules. Transferring data and instructions via wireless interface, the system can control the opening and closing operation of a high voltage circuit breaker and measure the characteristic parameters. The reliability tests on the system under a series of typical interferes in vacuum switch cabinets are carried out. Parallel experiments on the data communication demonstrators without EMI are also conducted for comparison. Furthermore, signal intensity experiments is designed to review the wireless communication effect with different distances. By the tests designed and conducted, it is confirmed that the wireless measure and control system designed to monitor and control the high voltage circuit breaker is feasible.

Abstract:This paper presents a remote automatic monitor and control system of small water power station rubber dam, based on S7-200 series PLC and WinCC HMI tool. The system takes the both advantages of automatic control and remote control and remains the local manual electrical or mechanical control function. It makes the work of rubber dam more robust, stable and safe, facilitates the users more flexible and improves the power generation efficiency.

Abstract:In view of difficult wiring and poor scalability of traditional monitoring system of mine ventilator,a remote monitoring system of mine ventilator was designed applying ZigBee wireless communication technology.Terminal node sensor transmits detected signal to coordinator node through ZigBee wireless communication,and then the signal was sent to PLC and the monitoring center for processing via the serial port.The simulation results show that the system achieves real-time detection of current,voltage,air speed and pressure of ventilator,it avoids a lot of wiring,and has high reliability and good real time performance.

Abstract:PLC was widely used in industrial automation,and it has a large geographical distribution.So it develops a remote wireless monitoring system based on TC35I,whose center unit is SCM.The system is successfully solved the data exchange between SCM and the PLC based on Hostlink protocol and the communication problems between SCM and TC35I module.So the remote wireless monitoring carried on the PLC system is realized.The system has easy to carry,practical,simple,large network coverage,low tariffs and other advantages.So it is practical and worthy of using abroad.

Abstract:The radiation monitoring system equipment of a nuclear power plant in Guangdong has repeatedly experienced communication failures and the standard RS485 interface communication is used inside. The RS485 communication mode is simple in hardware, convenient in control, low in cost, and high in communication rate. But the RS485 bus also has problems such as anti-jamming, self-adaptation, insufficient communication efficiency, etc. So incorrect handling of any details can lead to communication failure. Based on the practical application of the radiation monitoring system in the power plant, this paper analyzes the causes of the failure, investigates the factors that affect the communication failure, and implements anti-interference measures according to specific conditions, which solves the communication problems in the radiation monitoring system of the power plant. The improved method provided by this work can not only solve the communication problem of the system, but also solve the problem of nuclear power and the electrical industry to carry out anti-interference design and increase anti-interference measures to avoid repeated occurrence of the same problem.

Abstract:Nuclear radiation produced by radioactive source is harmful to the health of human body,and the lost and theft of radioactive source will cause environmental pollution and social panic.In order to solve the abnormal leaks,accidental loss,theft and other problems of the radioactive source,a radioactive source monitoring system based on RFID,GPS,GPRS and GSM technology is put forward.Radiation dose detector and GPS wireless location module are used to obtain the information of radiation dose and location respectively,RFID reader reads the status of a tag fixed on the bottom of the radioactive source.All information is transmitted to the remote monitoring center via GPRS wireless transmission.There will be an audible and visual alarm when radiation dose is out of limits or the state of radioactive source is abnormal,and the monitoring center will send alarming text messages to the managers through GSM Modem at the same time.Thus,the functions of monitoring and alarming are achieved.The system has already been put into operation and is being kept in functional order.It can provide stable statistics as well as accurate alarm,improving the supervision of radioactive source effectively.

Abstract:The paper focused on design and implementation of remote monitoring system for die casting units, which realized information management of die casting units. The Ethernet network architecture of the system was designed in consideration of the communication distance, communication quality and electromagnetic compatibility. The monitoring terminal used the OPC interface and the Ethernet technique to exchange data with the software PLC in industrial site. Due to the advantages of perfect function and friendly user interface, the industrial configuration software was used as a development tool for the human-computer interface design. The function and the arrangement of the human machine interface were designed according to the requirement of the company. The system realized production process monitoring and production information management through data collecting and processing. Machine status, operating parameters, injection data and production information could be found in HMI.

Abstract:There are some problems in the traditional warehousing monitoring systems, such as complex wiring and high power consumption. Sometimes the warehousing is so remote that it is not quite convenient to supply the alternating current with cable. This paper introduces a new warehousing environment monitor system based on wireless sensor network (WSN), which can acquire real-time warehousing environment parameters and reduce the unnecessary loss caused by emergency such as fire. We adopt the CC2530 as a wireless data transceiver, SHT11 temperature and humidity sensors to realize the gathering of warehousing environment parameter, and voice module to realize audio acquisition. The communication system run the corresponding program for the coordinator nodes and terminal nodes under the IAR system, and realize data transmission between the nodes in a star network. The experimental results show that the system can realize the acquisition and processing of environmental temperature and humidity in a wide area.

Abstract:For the deficiency of the passive warning manner of safety warning sign around the high voltage power system and a lot of electric power equipments are stole, we developed a on-line active safety warning monitoring system of power equipment by microwave induction, the device adopts microwave sensor technology to monitor the room around power equipment. When there is some objects are moving to it, the safety and warning system will capture signal of the object, and start alarm to warn who is near the high voltage danger zone. Two kinds of alarm have been certain by the operator in advance. The first grade will turn on when some people have been in dangerous areas which have been set by the managers. The second grade will be much more useful than the first, especially when some one wants to thieve electric power equipments, it will send short message to the monitor center. Thus the center can call the duty men who take charge of the thieving electric power equipments in time. In this way we can manage all the electric power equipments more successfully. This paper discusses the operating principles, design methods. Through a lot of field tests, the device could be effectively to warn people who are within 8 meters from the high voltage danger zone.

Abstract:In the complex electromagnetic environment of the transmission line, a large number of electromagnetic sensitive components in the control system of the live working robot cannot work stably and reliably. Therefore, aiming at this problem, this paper takes the 110kV transmission line live working robot as the research object, and conducts electromagnetic analysis and protection design for it. According to the three elements of electromagnetic interference, a solution to the electromagnetic protection of live-line working robots is proposed. In order to realize the live working of the robot, the equipotential mode is selected as the working mode of the robot, and the feasibility of the equipotential mode is verified through experiments.

Abstract:Automated monitoring of high voltage circuit breaker (HVCB) is preference for cost saving in power utilities. In this paper, real-time data acquisition and remote transmission system is designed and implemented. LabView is used for the management software in IPC, has powerful data processing capability, interface support and beautiful interface. The system has all the functions of sampling, measurement and communication. It can not only monitor on-line temperature, insulation, electric and mechanical parameters of HVCB, but communicate with other data acquisition devices and IPC. It is proved that the system has excellent ability of real-timing and high reliability by analyzing the results of field tests.
