Abstract:The library in the institutions of higher learning is the special stack room to collect literature of its own.It is of great significance to show the result of running school,to keep up complete data and to form a characteristic collection.By taking University of Zhejiang Science and Technology(ZUST)as an example,we analyze the existing problems in the library construction of the newly-built institutions of higher learning and define the scope of the library collection.Thus several methods are advanced to strengthen both its direction and initiative to turn the data base resources into the school's special collection resources as well as to grasp the timing node to collect library materials.

Abstract:Abstract To solve the problems in the construction of the internal quality assurance system in some colleges and universities, such as the difficulty in forming the quality culture, the imperfection of the system construction, and the insufficiency of the information platform construction, etc. By analyzing the five stages of the DMAIC model, the process of diagnosis and improvement is proposed, and from the definition stage, measurement stage, analysis stage, improvement stage, control stage, the improvement strategy of diagnosis, and improvement of internal quality assurance system is described. Through the application of the DMAIC model in actual cases, it can provide ide reference for the construction of internal quality assurance systems in colleges and universities. According to the BCC model in the DEA model, the author studies the relative effectiveness of the input and output of 12 university libraries in China. The results show that university libraries with effective technology accounted for 66.67%, while those without effective technology accounted for 33.33%, it also analyzes the investment changes of non-technical effective university libraries. This has an important reference and inspiration to improve the management of university libraries.

Abstract:According to Five Laws of Library Science, library is a growing organism. Its innovation, therefore, becomes a perennial topic of library. However, how to discern the true innovation is a problem to address. In this paper, the innovation is discussed in three aspects as follows:"gaining new knowledge by review" "keeping diversity and blending five colors in harmony" "creating somethingness from nothingness", which are interpreted by the author as innovative transfer, innovative integration, and innovative development respectively. The above three ideas constitute all meanings of innovation. Innovation is not only consciousness, but methods. Consciousness is interpreted as tao, and method be done as qi. Both of them are inseparable, generating innovation incessantly. Library is a symbol of civilization and humanity, with a close tie to which it is regarded as a divine place. Thus, how to cultivate the humanistic spirit of librarian is key to the development of library career. Above all, this paper gives us a further discussion about the meanings of humanistic spirit from following five perspectives, including orientation of civilization, orientation of goodness,orientation of morality, orientation of fulfilling obligations for human beings, orientation of sparing no effort to realize the following four aspirations, including the aspiration to ordain conscience for Heaven and Earth, to secure life and fortune for the people, to continue lost teachings of past sages, and to establish peace for all future generations. Accordingly, Nanjing Library carries on all works in the spirit of innovation and humanity.

Abstract:The Reference Library of the Chinese Academy of Arts (RLCAA) has identified the maintenance and development of its rich collections as its primary objective, which it pursues not merely by acquiring published materials but also, for example, by making recordings of musical and dramatic performances. But also, the RLCAA is committed to promoting and facilitating the use of its collections, and is consciously moving away from a passive custodial role to the active provision of services to users. In order to serve their users better, libraries must end their isolation and join together in networks; a new building at the Chinese Academy of Arts is to become the national centre for art information and library services, and this development also challenges the Academy to co-ordinate its several resource centres more effectively. Staff at the RLCAA have already created an art thesaurus, and are currently working on a bibliography of Chinese artists which it is hoped will be the first of several online databases covering different branches of the arts in China.

Abstract:In this article, we report an encouragement strategy in the field of design education. Based on the literature review, an analysis framework for encouragement is initially constructed. Secondly, based on the natural observation of the design classroom and the feedback from the administrators, using the tripartite model of encouragement (TEM), according to the principle of open coding in the grounded theory, the encouragement in the design classroom was coded and classified, and the analysis framework was further revised. Explore the key characteristics of encouragement that can best promote the development of creativity in the design classroom, how teachers can promote the development of creative thinking of design students by creating an innovative environment, and develop a set of strategies for design teachers to reflect and grow. Teachers reflect on what they notice at a specific time Regarding the encouragement in the classroom and making corresponding countermeasures in time to ensure the design of the encouragement in the classroom.

Abstract:The background of this research is the declining interest in reading by students and lecturers in the UNILA library, which is still low as they are reluctant to read in the campus library. One of the causes of low interest in reading in the library is inadequate services, such as a lack of librarians to assist students in selecting the books, limited availability, and lack of a variety of books can also affect students' reading interest and uncomfortable library conditions, such as seating. Ergonomics, poor lighting, and poor ventilation can make students feel uncomfortable in the library. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method. Qualitative research is data collection in a natural setting to interpret phenomena that occur where the researcher is a key instrument, sampling of data sources is carried out purposively, collection techniques are triangulation (combined), data analysis is inductive or qualitative, and the results of qualitative research are more emphasize the meaning of generalizations. The subjects of this study used the library and students of UNILA. The data collection technique used in this research is using interview data collection techniques, observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicated that the implementation of library services in UNILA was according to library operational standards. The implementation of library services carried out to increase students' reading interest includes using the Elip application, digitizing books into e-books, interesting book titles to read, and desk arrangements that must be tidy to encourage reading interest. Despite of the shortage in facilities and amenities, the implementation of library management is still being carried out properly with accomplished policies and procedures. Obstacles faced by the head and library staff in library services in increasing student interest in reading includes less of facilities available and lack of fiction reading books.
