Abstract:To increase the efficiency and accuracy of obtaining, storing and analysis of examination data, this paper developed an examination data analysis and evaluation platform based on cloud computing technologies. First of all, the examination data base was constructed based on data OLAP. Then, an examination analysis system was developed according to the application experience from the users. Finally, an education and examination data analysis and evaluation platform was developed based on cloud computing technology. The practical applications from more than 100 cities in 16 provinces showed that this platform can increase the efficiency of the examination data obtaining, storing, analysis, and evaluation for the education management department, school, teacher and student. Currently, this platform has owned more 40 % market share of the education and examination data services in China.

Abstract:A networked structural laboratories system for seismic simulation of structures is presented. It consists of an independent network based communication platform (NCP) and various applications based on NCP. The NCP was developed based on client/server concept along with a proposed data model and communication protocols. It is capable of transferring control and feedback data among computers connected by Internet that is a hierarchical network with ubiquitous deployment of middleboxes, such as firewalls and network address translators. Communication speed tests were conducted in various network environments. Applications for hybrid dynamic test of bridge and building structures have been developed and remote hybrid tests of structures were carried out among the Hunan University, the Harbin Institute of Technology, and the Tsinghua University.

Abstract:With the rapid development of network technology, large enterprises have established their own online learning and examination system respectively. However, as those network examination systems are dispersive, closed and disconnected, so various resources are unable to be utilized in a balanced way, which may cause substantial waste of enterprise resources. To solve such a problem, the emerging cloud computing technology with the characteristics of service on demand and dynamic expansion capability, provides a possibility of a shared network examination system with lower cost, named as cloud exam support service. A feasible solution for the application of the cloud computing technology in the network examination, which combines the theoretical analysis, system design and technical implementation, is put forward in this paper. The design, development, and pilot application of the cloud examination system described in this paper show that this study is highly practical, operable, and worthy of application and popularization.

Abstract:This article discussed the Web-based Examination System of Networking Institute's Demonstration Project in detail, including demand analysis, the implement technology, analysis the subject matter and solution. Users can customize one's own examination question application in the outstanding exam management platform; complete the whole process including building the question library, setting question, application in examination and evaluating the scores. In the course of implement of the Examination System, the author has done certain research to J2EE system architecture. Abstract:For the shortage of experimental resources in multiple schools, this paper develops a virtual experiment platform of information security based on Web services. The system adopts B/S architecture to build a remote laboratory. The whole system is divided into three layers, including field equipment layer, data layer and presentation layer. The database uses Microsoft's development tools and chooses the visual integration platform. The system also realizes user management, information query, online learning, online testing, experimental report upload, message board and virtual experiment project management, using ASP.NET and SQL language to achieve the back-end database data analysis and processing. Finally, based on the modular design idea, the design and implementation process of each functional module are described in detail, and the system is fully tested and verified. After corresponding tests, the remote network experiment management platform is proved to meet the experimental teaching requirements of computer network course and achieve stable remote connection performance.

Abstract:The author integrates data resources of different examinations, and designs a multipul information integrated platform of online exam registration based on B/S and MS SQL Server mode. Firstly, it supports a variety of examination online registration, dynamic construction of basic information database, examinees' photo library, information and photographs collection, and multiple sharing. The required examinees' data and photos are automatically generated by the platform. Secondly, it also has the following functions, such as online registration, uploading photos, photos automatically audit, admission tickets printing, results inquiry and statistics and so on. Thirdly, it has efifcient, stable and convenient features, multipul tests registration in only one platform, basic information of examinees sharing among various exams, reducing the costs of management and photos for repeatedly registration. Finally, it has good openness and expansibility.

Abstract:With the development of Internet and network database, online education has become an important method in knowledge innovation, dissemination and application. So how to achieve the goals of informational and paperless examination better, and make the examination more efficient, convenient and justice become an important topic in modern education field. Developing a stable online examination system can effectively solve this problem.. The system is developed based on J2EE architecture and it mainly includes three modules: user management, test management, and score management. User management is responsible for managing the information of administrators, teachers and students. Test management includes the functions for administrators or teachers to select randomly questions from database to generate test papers. Score management is in charge of the automatic scoring of test papers and giving the corresponding feedbacks to students. The implementation of system efficiently provides teachers and students an interaction platform and improves the management level as well.

Abstract:Purpose-Mock board exam is necessary to identify if the students are ready to take the board exam. However, preparing for the examination is not easy. It takes too much time to release the result, given that the College has limited personnel. Thus, the proponents developed the Dynamic Local Area Network (LAN) Based Mock Board Examination System that makes the preparation and checking easy. Method-The proponents followed the iterative waterfall model to develop the system efficiently. Some criteria of ISO 25010 were adopted in the evaluation instrument. Simultaneously, evaluators are composed of program chairperson, College of Computer Studies (CCS) faculty, board program students, and alumni. Results-The result of 4.91 in Functional Suitability, 4.87 in Performance Efficiency, 4.91 in Usability, 4.90 in Security, and 4.92 in Maintainability shows that the system is fully functional and is usable by any board program. Conclusion The computer-based examination, implemented through LAN, can simplify administering personnel of MinSCAT mock board examination. The development of the "Dynamic LAN Based Mock Board Examination System" is a great help to the MinSCAT and their board program graduates if it is implemented. Recommendations-The system has hidden weaknesses that were only identified in actual operation. Thus, further testing is needed, like beta testing, to identify and correct it for better performance. After beta-testing, the system can be improved through iteration of the Waterfall Model phases. Research Implications-The developed system can improve the mock board examination process and ease preparing this significant examination. Moreover, it immediately provides a result that helps the examinees to identify their weaknesses and do a further review to master it.

Abstract:Currently, an increasing number of organizations tend to adopt paperless online examination system based on B/S system architecture. But for the traditional online examination system, problems will occur when processing the large-scale examination due to the limitations of network quality. Those issues consist of the delay of loading subject pages, no response of committing data, and other problems related to user-experience. AJAX asynchronous technology can solve the above-mentioned problems of B/S system architecture, which use partial refresh technology to improve the user experience. This paper uses the database connection pool and caching mechanism to reduce the overhead and improve the data access efficiency. The partial submission method and differential submission method are also adopted to submit answers with the purpose of reducing network congestion and pressure on the server.

Abstract:An on-line examination and self-test system for circuit course is developed on the basis of ASP (Active Server Page)operational environment and Access database and a method for preparation of examination papers is presented so that the administrator and users can properly choose the scope and difficulty of examination papers according to the actual situation in the examination and self-test mode respectively,while the administrator can make statistics of usersanswers.The actual application shows that this system can not only enable students to make their self-tests without limitation of time and location,but also make it possible to organize on -line circuit examination at the same time and location.It is an effective teaching aid for Theory on Basic Circuitry a state-level fine course.
