Abstract:A networked structural laboratories system for seismic simulation of structures is presented. It consists of an independent network based communication platform (NCP) and various applications based on NCP. The NCP was developed based on client/server concept along with a proposed data model and communication protocols. It is capable of transferring control and feedback data among computers connected by Internet that is a hierarchical network with ubiquitous deployment of middleboxes, such as firewalls and network address translators. Communication speed tests were conducted in various network environments. Applications for hybrid dynamic test of bridge and building structures have been developed and remote hybrid tests of structures were carried out among the Hunan University, the Harbin Institute of Technology, and the Tsinghua University.

Abstract:With the rise of the Internet in China and the penetration of mobile phone ports and computer ports to Chinese users, this system has the premise and foundation. In order to solve the current problems of the epidemic, so that students can learn the knowledge normally and even exceed the quality of teaching under the normal mode, this comprehensive online teaching platform is hereby established. The design of the B/S structure makes the platform run perfectly, the application of JSP technology solves the problem of dynamic pages, and the background is the commonly used and mature MYSQL database technology. Breaking the traditional teaching model allows students to learn knowledge at any suitable time and place, and master high-quality resources from the Internet. Students registered on the platform of this system can purchase courses online and view their studies in My Center, and the administrator will perform background management of the member students.

Abstract:Digital campus construction is the key construction project of computer basic colleges, and online examination system is an indispensable part of it. The overall structure of the examination system adopts a browser-based three-tier network application system, which divides the functions of the system into three blocks: representation, function and data. A perfect Web-oriented examination system for computer basic courses with multiple questions is designed and implemented. The modules and database of the examination system are designed in detail, and the development of the computer basic examination system is realized. The network examination system designed in this paper is based on virtual simulation platform, which is a test of teachers’ teaching level and students’ learning situation. The purpose is to make teachers and students get the most timely and effective feedback, so as to give teachers and students the greatest help in future teaching activities.

Abstract:The study set out to develop an online examination system. System design made use of entity relation diagrams (ERDs), case diagrams, site diagrams and object oriented (class) design to model system processes and entities. MYSQL was used to implement the server based database, md5 for encryption. PHP (Hypertext pre-processor) web scripting language was used to enforce interaction with the database. The online examination is an Internet based questionnaire, with questions compiled from different libraries. Its mission is to offer a quick, easy and safe way for students to take the exam. The resulting system was tested and validated. It was able to meet the required specifications and address some limitations of the previous system such as data confidentiality and security.

Abstract:The author integrates data resources of different examinations, and designs a multipul information integrated platform of online exam registration based on B/S and MS SQL Server mode. Firstly, it supports a variety of examination online registration, dynamic construction of basic information database, examinees' photo library, information and photographs collection, and multiple sharing. The required examinees' data and photos are automatically generated by the platform. Secondly, it also has the following functions, such as online registration, uploading photos, photos automatically audit, admission tickets printing, results inquiry and statistics and so on. Thirdly, it has efifcient, stable and convenient features, multipul tests registration in only one platform, basic information of examinees sharing among various exams, reducing the costs of management and photos for repeatedly registration. Finally, it has good openness and expansibility.

Abstract:A computer network teaching management system based on JSP technology is designed to solve the slow response of traditional computer network teaching management system problem. The system hardware mainly designs the hardware interface, which can synchronize the information in the system and reduce the internal data capacity of the system. The long-distance teaching management system is computer network based and realizes anytime, anywhere, strong interaction and the latest content. The system software mainly designs the database, uses JSP technology to describe the conceptual model of the database, and judges the data attributes in the database. On this basis, the same type of data information is stored in the unified curriculum, the curriculum group is created, and the test function is provided. The test results continuously improve the database structure to complete the design of a computer network teaching management system based on JSP technology. The experimental comparison results show that the designed computer network teaching management system based on JSP technology has a faster response time than the traditional system, can meet the needs of users, and has certain practical application significance. The proposed system performance outperforms the existing system by 3 to 28%.

Abstract:With cloud computing's powerful computing power, many end users can create a variety of effective network applications using the cloud's services without having to worry about computing technology or access methods. Based on CC technology's on-demand service characteristics and unlimited dynamic expansion capability, this article designs and implements a shared network examination system. In the Web mode, the functions of receiving and distributing examination data, identity verification, online examination, and examination result collection can be realized using the SaaS deployment structure, MVC three-tier architecture, Java modeling language, XFIE, JSON, web service, DES, and other technologies combined with MySQL database. At the same time, the improved parallel genetic annealing algorithm (IPGAA) is proposed as a CC resource scheduling strategy. The IPGAA has better adaptability in the CC system with various cloud resources because it combines the fast global search ability of the genetic algorithm (GA) with the local search ability of the simulated annealing algorithm. Simulation tests show that the IPGAA is effective.

Abstract:This paper presents the development of a web-based examination system that focuses on automated resolution of faults such as power, network, or component failure that may occur when an e-learning system is used to conduct an examination. This system can withstand various challenges that hinder the adoption of e-learning technologies in developing countries. This is important because it will reduce the time and cost involved in conducting large scale examinations by tertiary institutions without the need to upgrade existing infrastructures. These institutions will not necessarily require uninterrupted power or network connection to conduct web-based examinations as the system can easily resume if such an incident occurs. The architecture of the proposed web-based online examination system provides for integrated management of functions such as question pool creation and update, examination monitoring, failure toleration and recovery, automated grading, and randomization. The system also eliminates the need for manual scheduling of examinations which requires much planning and is error-prone. Different examinations can be scheduled to run simultaneously. The design technology adopted for the implementation is a client/server technology. The incremental software development model in conjunction with prototyping technique was adopted in the development of the web-based examination system due to the iterative nature of the developed software. The system was developed using PHP, JavaScript, Ajax and MySQL. The system has been applied to conduct an examination involving more than 20,000 students per semester at University of Calabar. It has been proved to save efforts of teachers and students.
