Abstract:Excellent traditional culture plays a fundamental role in the strategy for building a cultural powerful nation.Harmony is the supreme value of the traditional culture of China.It is the thinking of the theory of classic systems and universe pattern running through all aspects such as nature,society,life,etc.It involves rich contents and value criteria of supreme harmony,mental harmony,family harmony,support of the people,administration harmony,and harmonization in the international community.It is an important cultural mystery that has never discontinued while the Chinese civilization has experienced tortuous developments over several thousand years.We consider that at the current stage,the socialist harmonious cultural construction of China should be built on the basis of the creative transfer and modern annotation of traditional harmonious spirit.The creative revealing and elucidation of profound details and ideological value should be embodied in three respects.The first is the trend of ′general harmony′,the second is the value criterion of ′harmony with difference′,and the third is the value law of keeping to the golden mean with the most brilliant aspiration in mind.
