Abstract:3D seismic reflection method is rarely utilized in the urban engineering investigation. Especially, application on this aspect is nearly vacant in China. In order to investigate the application effect of 3D seismic method under the complex condition of cities, we selected a subsurface reservoir as exploration goal in Shanghai and carried out 3D seismic data acquisition. The cross observation system was used and shot/receiver interval was lm. The fold is 36. We use a hydraulic impact mechanism as hypocenter. The geophone's natural frequency is 28Hz. The raw show gathers show that the surface wave and correlation noise are so strong that the reflection signal is hard to identify. So we use surface wave zone noise suppressing methods and FX correlation noise suppressing technology to wide off the noises. Moreover, surface consistent amplitude compensation, inverse deconvolution, residual static, velocity analysis, stack processing technologies and so on are used and the stack sections are acquired. The results show that the reflection from bedrock is interrupted, due to the boundary of the reservoir, by which the area coverage of the reservoir is nearly determined. However, because the reservoir is buried very shallow and its structure is so complex, other geophysical methods and drilling data are needed to identify its precise position. Our study lays a foundation for the further research.

Abstract:In recent years, there is an increasing demand for improving the efficiency and reliability of urban planning in China, due to the inclusive changes of concepts and contents of urban planning and management. The integrated utilisation of remote sensing and GIS technology in improving urban planning was therefore approached by the author and his research group. The basic methodology of this work is to make the integrated use of the advantages of remote sensing, GIS and urban planning knowledge/ models to develop new spatial information collection techniques/ procedures and specified spatial analysis tools for supporting the formulation and implementation of urban planning. The study was conducted in three different stages (levels) of urban planning in order to examine the integrated utilization of remote sensing and GISs in the hierarchical urban planning environment. The final objective of this work is to develop a micro-computer based prototype for an Urban Planning Analysis and Management System ( UPAMS).

The popularization of computer technology and GIS technology provides the technical support for urban planning. This paper introduces the concepts of spatial analysis functions of GIS briefly, and analyses the spatial analysis function of the application in urban planning specifically. How to apply the GIS spatial analysis function in the different urban planning field is demonstrated in the paper, which also gives the direction of the future application of GIS science and technology in urban planning.

Abstract:Abstract With the rapid development of information, the development of geographic information system (GIS) is also very rapid, and the development of information has laid a solid foundation for geographic information. In the process of practical application, geographic information system has obvious advantages compared with traditional surveying and mapping technology, which can reduce the influencing factors of external environment and has strong anti-interference ability. Establishing and perfecting the information surveying and mapping system is of great significance to the healthy and orderly development of society. In the surveying and mapping of smart city, as a kind of pre construction scanning positioning system, GIS has high measurement accuracy and data processing ability, so it is paid more and more attention by construction enterprises and construction enterprises in urban construction. In this context, this paper discusses some functions of GIS, analyzes its application in Intelligent City Surveying and mapping, which makes GIS more widely used.

Abstract:With economic development and social progress, geographic information science is playing a more and more important role in tourism development. Many spatial analysis methods have been used in planning and design of scenic development programs. In this paper, the application of geographic information systems is illustratedfrom three perspectives. DEM model, Voronoi diagram and Space syntax are used to help achieve suitable land use, rational scenic spots layout, and traffic systems, with which tourist split-flow may be attainable. This study enriches tourism planning methods, which may make tourism planning more scientific and operable.

Abstract:Urban planning is super vital for cities. Good planning for the city would provide more convenience and benefits to citizens through economic effects, beautiful scenery and so on. This study analyses the application of remote sensing technologies in urban landscaping planning, transportation, and environmental protection. The combination of remote sensing and GIS technologies makes urban landscaping planning more accessible in urban landscaping planning. Usually, remote sensing provides satellite images, while the GIS processes the image and compares the target region for analysis. The combination method could predict urban green spaces. In urban transportation planning, remote sensing technology could combine with Artificial intelligence smart video technology to protect peoples safety in transportation, such as observing traffic violations by capturing videos or images and protecting traffic safety. In environmental protection, remote sensing could monitor the area change of wetlands and solve the natural disasters around the city. Different approaches have their benefits and disadvantages, and thus making urban plans by combining various techniques is essential.

Abstract:The tidal flat inning area of Zhejiang Province was chosen as typical study area and the space attribute database was built based on GIS,and then the land multi-object suitability was appraised integrating grid operation and appraise model.Moreover,according to the priority project of land use plan,the land use space structure of study area was configured from appraise result.Results showed that the land of study area had multi-suitability characteristic and the suitability degree of different land use types existed overlap phenomenon.So when configuring land use space structure from multi-object land suitability appraise result,different land use plan could result in different configure results.

Abstract:Due to different requirements of Global Positioning System (GPS) applications, performances of GPS receiver vary greatly. In order to evaluate a GPS receiver's performances, a simulation platform build on Matlab has been developed by this research. This platform includes four elements: user interface, GPS signal simulator (intermediate frequency, IF), civilian (C/A) software receiver and noise 14 generator. Design and implementation of the platform are discussed in details in this paper. Firstly, a mathematical model of intermediate frequency (IF) GPS signal simulator is introduced. After that, methods of determining visual satellites and computing transmission time by using existing ephemeris are also discussed. Secondly, key algorithms of the software 14 receiver, including acquisition and tracking, are presented. Finally, an experiment is demonstrated to test the validity of this platform. The close correspondence between pre-designed user I trajectories and position results of the software receiver certifies 19 the validity of this platform. Compared with hardware simulation, this platform possesses more effective and flexible. The performances of the receiver can be tested completely by changing different scenes of signal simulator. All key techniques of this platform are modularized and coded with Matlab language. It is easy to understood and used. In this sense, this simulation platform can be an ideal tool for new beginners of this field to master GPS principles.

Abstract:There are a lot of problems in traditional site-situation 3D model building technology,such as high technical threshold,long operation period,heavy workload and limited accuracy.These problems constrain the application of digital city technology in the landscape design field.Along with the continually increase requirement of urban development for landscape design and more complexity of the site condition,there appears new research hotspots in landscape design on how to realize the delicate analysis and create more visual landscape design plan for comparison,so as to improve the accuracy and operability of landscape design.This paper has been setting up based on the technology experience of building digital city.It introduces the technology abouthow to obtain the image informationon the surface using unmanned aerial vehicles and build 3D real-scene models.Thus,it could realize the 3D spatial analysis and fine design specific to the site.The result shows that 3D real-time model has many advantages such as fast,visual and accurate,thus it could come into play in all kinds of phases in planning and design.

Abstract:Developed in the last thirty years, landscape planning is an applied science that combined geography, landscape, architecture, and civil engineering. This study divides related subjects of landscape planning into two categories, theory research and engineering application. With more focus on engineering application side, we will try to discuss the appliances of remote sensing in each stage of landscape planning project. The workflow of the landscape planning project can be divided into five phases which are the proposal, operation and planning, project implementation, final closing and follow-up management. Remote sensing will have different operation function application toward each of the five stages. The research points out that remote sensing not only provides an efficiency way to collect spatial data, but also the data analyzing function can help landscape planners to be more exact on spatial issues in landscape plan and landscape design projects.
