Abstract:Digital map is getting increasingly popular as an intuitive and interactive platform for data presentation recently. Thus applications integrated with digital map have attracted much attention. But no offtheshelf systems or services could we use if the time span of maps be extended to historical ones. There are a large number of valuable ancient atlases in CADAL digital library. However, they are seldom made use of because the ones which are in image format are not convenient for users to read or search. In this paper, we propose a novel hybrid approach to utilizing these atlases directly and constructing some applications based on ancient maps. We call it CAMAME which means Chinese Ancient Maps Automatic Marking and Extraction. We create a gazetteer to store the geographic information of sites which will be project on the map, then use kernel method to do the regression and correct the estimated results with image processing and local regression methods. The empirical results show that CAMAME is effective and efficient, by which most valuable data in the map images is marked and identified. Some Chinese literary chronicle applications that exhibit ancient literary and related historical information over those digitized atlas resources in CADAL digital library were developed.

Abstract:Abstract. The state attaches great importance to the issue of the right to the use of rural land. At present, China is carrying out a large-scale mapping and confirmation of rural house sites and rural houses. The traditional measurement method mainly adopts total station or RTK manual measurement method, which is characterized by high work intensity, complex operation procedure and labor-consuming. There are hundreds of thousands of villages in China. With the development of science and technology, it is an inevitable trend to use new technologies in rural cadastral surveys to improve their efficiency and quality. LiDAR scanning technology has the advantages of high efficiency, flexibility, reliability, and high accuracy, which meet the requirements of tasks and schedules that are difficult to complete with traditional measurement methods. This paper is based on the AS-300H multi-platform LiDAR system of Huace Navigation, which integrates UAV and vehicle LiDAR for cadastral surveying and mapping. It proves that LiDAR using in rural cadastral mapping has low labor intensity, high efficiency and accuracy. At the same time, the advantages and disadvantages of LiDAR technology for cadastral mapping are also summarized and elaborated, which has a good reference and significance for those who are currently conducting rural housing and cadastral mapping work.

Abstract:With the rapid development of information technology, Internet technology and the progress of rural modernization have gradually become closer. Problems such as rural imbalance and network congestion still exist. Therefore, the empowerment of rural areas with digital network technology is both an objective reality and a future trend. This article combines the advantages of network communication technology, sensor technology, video surveillance technology and digital media 3D, CG, and VR technology in information dissemination to the countryside. At the same time, a method of capturing and identifying rural tourism based on network data is proposed, which is an idea for the innovation and development of digital network technology in rural design, and hopes to provide help for relevant workers.

In order to solve the accuracy and efficiency requirement of 3D model data acquisition, in the process of building digital city, Beijing take a variety of ways to achieve 3D model acquisition. Utilizing the traditional manual 3D modeling to achieve the accuracy of 3D fine model, utilizing 3D laser scanning technology to realize the accuracy of 3D hyperfine model, utilizing tilt photogrammetry semi-automatic modeling method to achieve rapid modeling etc. From the technical point of view, this paper is a comprehensive summary of the specific technical approach and application methods for 3D model in the process of Beijing digital city construction. 3D model data applied in many fields of Beijing Digital City such as historical and cultural protection, education and economic and so on, which lay a solid data base for the construction of Wisdom Beijing.

Abstract:Under the background of digital countryside construction, the rural full-elements landscape digital model can realize the identification,integration and fusion of information, and improve the scientific, precise and efficient of rural landscape protection, planning and control. The fullelements digital model of rural landscape is constructed based on digital twin technology, which is characterized by multi-source heterogeneity and spatial fusion of data, and is also the hard part of the build. This paper expounds the construction method of full-elements digital model of rural landscape from four main links: data collection, data processing,database construction and data fusion. Taking Changkou Village of Jiangle County, Fujian Province as an example, the construction practice of rural landscape digital model was carried out. It realized the spatial integration and dynamic visualization of rural landscape ecological data and morphological data, and solved the problems of rural landscape elements being separated from each other and all kinds of data lacking association in previous digital models. It can not only support the whole life cycle and process information management of rural landscape, but also support rural landscape planning, design, construction, control and other scenarios.

Abstract:In our country,an enormous amount of village constructive land is widely distributed in the market towns and large rural areas with dispersed and complex spatial land.It will pay a lot of manpower,financial and material resources that the analytical methods have used for obtain the large-scale of spatial data of collective building land across the country. With this situation,the new technique methods very conducive,more suitable for our nation,to the collective building land spatial data for inspection,storage,using,management and update have been put forward in this paper,apart from the analytical method.First of all,we will collect the spatial data of land building to have the boundary point coordinates, boundary line length,and cadastral parcel area by using the high-resolution images.Secondly,the spatial land data will be checked and corrected by the cadastral inventory and tape measurement in the field;the attribute data of building land will be collected as a unit of the village administrative.Finally,the spatial data will be linked to the attribute data within one village administrative in order to set up the collective construction land database.This technique has been successfully applied at the test area with good results.

Abstract:In the digital mapping environment,when people want to acquire geographic information,the traditional paper maps according to its "fixed" mode of information still own irreplaceable advantages.Particularly there is great demand for paper topographic maps applied in regional construction and overall planning.This paper presents the difference of GIS spatial data and publishing pre-press data,including the conversion process of the two types data.In the current surveying and mapping production background of GIS spatial data pre-production,it describes a technical of topographic maps published program based on topographic spatial data and focuses on the key technologies in application process.Finally the effectiveness of the technology route is analyzed and evaluated.

Abstract:The village with historical and cultural accumulation not only is the witness of the interaction between human activities and natural environment but also contains a lot of intangible cultural heritage. It is an important research object in the history of human social development and has great reference value for the construction of modern Humayun settlements. With the continuous change of modern rural landscape, the traditional engineering drawing cannot meet the needs of people for spatial information measurement. There are some problems such as slow drawing, low precision, and poor benefit, so computer drawing must be used. Therefore, this paper puts forward the research on rural landscape spatial information recording and protection based on 3D point cloud technology under the background of Internet of Things and realizes the recording of rural landscape spatial information through the construction of 3D point cloud spatial information recording model. The experimental results show that the improved unit point cloud spatial information recording model has better feature extraction effect and feature point extraction efficiency, and can classify the point cloud more carefully. At the same time, the scene 3D point cloud classification method based on conditional random field can better deal with the interference factors in the outdoor landscape and show a better classification effect.

Abstract:Absence of reliable and accurate surveying of Tibetan architectural heritage has long been a major constraint for architects, architectural historians and archeologists working in that region. Due to distinctive geographical environment and architectural typology, unique surveying technologies are required in Tibet. In the last three years, integrated digital surveying technologies are applied to architectural heritage in Gyantse, a Tibetan city. The aim of the surveying is to document and analyze local architectural heritage for potential technical intervention such as consolidation, restoration and renovation. Key technical issues ranging from reliability of consumer-level UAV to BIM-based platform are presented in the article. The conclusions are that digital technologies greatly improve architectural heritage surveying in Tibet in terms of accuracy, efficiency and versatility. Future works will be addressed in more robust algorithms for points cloud semantic segmentation, change detection of large-scale architectural heritage based on remotely sensed imagery over time, and data exchange and coordination between BIM and GIS, etc.

Abstract:On the utilization of the underground space with major projects,digital mapping based on the secondary development of MAPGIS by C++ Build connected with automatic drawing of histograms and profiles has important significance.By combined with the development of underground environmental information system of Water Supply Reconstruction Project from Dongjiang to Shenzhen in China’s Guangdong Province,China,the function design of automatic digital mapping module and data searching methods as well as automatic drawing methods of histograms and profiles are emphatically introduced.Data searching is emphasized on data organization form and synergistically searching way on multi-database;histogram drawing is developed two ways i.e.fixed table drawing and dynamic data filling;profile drawing is focused on another two ways i.e.elastic-liked realization method of profile lines and data calculation methods of profile data etc.In the application of digital mapping methods to a major project,Water Supply Reconstruction Project from Dongjiang to Shenzhen,the results show that the methods have some advantages such as high automatic extent,large efficiency and high accuracy and also has a better correcting capability.The research has a great value for the development of design and realization of digital mapping in engineering fields.

Abstract:Abstract. Digitalization of urban roads is an important part of smart city construction. In addition to having a basic understanding of the structure of the transportation network, we need to have a preliminary understanding of the information around the road, the current status of the road, and the impact that municipal projects may have on the road. At present, the three-dimensional information of the ground parts of roads can be obtained efficiently and accurately on a large scale by using three-dimensional scanning technology. However, there is a lack of comprehensive and intuitive understanding of the under-ground information and a lack of synergistic consideration of the ground and under-ground information. In this paper, a ground and under-ground urban road surveying system based on 3D LiDAR and 3D ground penetrating radar (GPR) is presented. The system covers multi-sensor coordinated control, time-space datum setup, and post-processing data. Experiments show that the system can realize the integrated ground and under-ground 3D surveying for urban roads, generate intuitive three-dimensional point cloud map model of ground and under-ground of urban roads, and provide effective technical support for smart city construction.
