Workflow and Its Implementation of Digital-Publishing Based on KaaS

Abstract:Based on the analysis of traditional publishing industry's status in China, probes into the relationship between publishing and information service in the network environment. In accordance with digital publishing's features, it also tries to define the concept of digital publishing and proposes the idea of Knowledge as a Service (KaaS). Finally, suggests that traditional publishers should build up a unified knowledge managing process, namely reengineer their workflow in view of KaaS and an organizational structure which is adapted to the process.
