Abstract:Workflow developed through several decades. With the appearance of the advanced technology, workflow is also changing quickly. The model of web services workflow has been proposed, but it is not used to the realistic application. Our work is to construct a web services workflow based on XML Process Define Language (XPDL). By virtue of two tools, workflow will enter the web stage, and theory is applied to concrete applications.Web Services use a loosely coupled integration model to allow flexible integration of heterogeneous systems in a variety of domains including business-to-consumer, business-to-business and enterprise application integration. XPDL is a kind of language standard that is used to define workflow process. It and web services are both based on XML standard. So they will be propitious to construct the strong workflow system in the web. The whole framework of system is put forward, and some arisen problem about technology will be solved.
