Abstract:Objective:Inquiry into the mental state intervention for the improvement the tumor suffere′s function of the mental appearance and life quantity.Methods:To under way chemotherapy,the support cure,50 tumor patients who put the carry on the mental intervention,the mental intervention is behind 2 weeks,4 weeks,use the worry amxiously from the evaluation form(SAS) suppressed the depression from the evaluation form(SDS) promise from the evaluation health form(NHP) to patient of mental appearance,lived the quantity to carry on the valuation.Results:The mental intervention is behind various index signs of SCL:Energy,ache,emotion,sleep,social activity,the body activity get a goal with the intervention the front relatively lower(P0.05).Cocldusion:SAS and SDS before interfere get a goal all high in 50 divided attention to man.

Abstract:Cancer is a common disease that endangers human health around the world. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has a long history and rich experience in treating cancer. This article starts with the differences between Chinese and Western medical theory systems, and comprehensively illustrates the core theory of TCM, which is based on a holistic philosophy. The unique characteristics and obvious advantages are presented in detail regarding long‐term survival with tumors, quality of life, symptom management, and clinical efficacy. This article aims to provide valuable insights and inspiration for scientific evaluation of the efficacy of TCM in treating cancer so as to promote Chinese medicine to the world.

Abstract:The biological consequences of cellular senescence and immortalization in aging and cancer are in conflict. Organisms have developed common cellular signaling pathways and surveillance mechanisms to control the processing of aging against tumorigenesis. The imbalance of any signals involved in this process may result in either premature aging or tumorigenesis and reduce the life span of the organism. In contrast, the balance between aging and tumorigenesis at a higher level (homeostatic-balance) may benefit the organism with tumor-free longevity. The focus of this perspective is to review the literature on the balance between "Yin" and "Yang" in traditional Chinese medicine. Modern cellular and molecular techniques now permit a more robust system to screen herbs in traditional Chinese medicine for their activity in balancing aging and tumorigenesis. The understanding of the crosstalk between aging and tumorigenesis and new perspectives on the application of Chinese medicine might shed light on anti-aging and tumor-free strategies. J. Cell. Anxiety- and Health-Related Quality of Life among Patients with Breast Cancer: A Cross-Cultural Comparison of China and the United States

Abstract:Purpose Literature has documented the prevalence of anxiety and its adverse effect on quality of life among patients with breast cancer from Western countries, yet cross-cultural examinations with non-Western patients are rare. This cross-cultural study investigated differences in anxiety and its association with quality of life between US and Chinese patients with breast cancer. Methods Patients with breast cancer from the United States and China completed measures for anxiety (Spielberger State-Trait Anxiety Inventory) and quality of life (Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy-Breast). Results After controlling for demographic and medical characteristics, Chinese patients reported higher levels of trait and state anxiety than US patients. Although there was an association between anxiety and quality of life in both groups of patients, the association between state anxiety and quality of life was stronger among Chinese patients than among US patients, with the association between trait anxiety and quality of life the same between the two cultural samples. Conclusion These findings suggest that anxiety and its association with quality of life among patients with breast cancer varies depending on cultural context, which reveals greater anxiety and poorer quality of life among Chinese patients compared with US patients. This suggests greater unmet psychosocial needs among Chinese patients and highlights the need to build comprehensive cancer care systems for a better quality of life in Chinese populations.

Abstract:AbstractObjectiveThis study aimed to investigate the urban–rural differences in associations between financial toxicity (FT), physical health-related quality of life (HRQoL), negative emotional status, and the effect of patients’ socioeconomic status and clinical and cost-related characteristics on the levels of FT in a sample of Chinese cancer survivors.MethodsData were obtained from a cross-sectional survey conducted by the oncology department at two tertiary level hospitals in China. The COmprehensive Score for financial Toxicity, Euroqol five-level instrument (EQ-5D), and Depression Anxiety Stress Scale – 21 (DASS-21) were used to measure patients’ FT, physical HRQoL, and negative emotional status. A latent class analysis was used to identify patient subgroups with distinct symptom experiences based on self-reported data on symptom occurrence using the EQ-5D and DASS-21.ResultsFour distinct latent classes were identified: all low (47.6%); high physical and low psych (18.6%); low physical and high psych (17.1%); and all high (17.1%). Rural patients younger than 50 years showed a statistically significantly higher FT than urban patients. Rural patients who were male, highly educated, insured, first hospitalization, new cases, received surgery or immunotherapy, and had low cancer-related costs in all low classes showed a higher FT than urban patients.ConclusionsRural patients with cancer suffered from higher FT than their urban counterparts, and the negative impact of psychological distress on FT was higher than that of physical HRQoL.

Abstract:Objectives: Old patients with cancer are a great challenge to physicians. This study investigated the similarities and differences in the respective opinions of geriatricians and oncologists with regard to clinical practice among elderly patients with cancer in south west China. Design, Setting, Participants and Measurements: Doctors from five local public hospitals of Sichuan were surveyed with a questionnaire via face-to-face interview. The ratio of geriatricians to oncologists’ was1:1. The questionnaire addressed respondents’ demographic characteristics and was composed of 11 multiple-choice questions and a clinical scenario. Results: The respondents included 64 oncologists and geriatricians, respectively. More than forty percent participants believed that current treatments were under-treatment. «Opinion of family members» was the top one reason for under-treatment in both groups, more oncologist choice «comorbidity» as cause of insufficient treatment than geriatricians (p=0.001). Age (57.03%) was the fifth effect factor impacting on treatment decision except for physical function (81.25%), comorbidity (71.09%) and cancer itself. Physical function, comorbidity and age between 65-84, geriatrician and oncologist did have different attitude. Conclusions: The attitude to physical function and comorbidity were the main difference between geriatrician and oncologist for their clinical decisions. A workshop should be set up to optimize the treatment proceedings.

Abstract:Cancer is one of the most fatal diseases in the world. It caused almost 12% of all deaths in women and 14% in men in 2004, only next to cardiovascular diseases, infectious and parasitic diseases [1] . After a century of combat against cancer, the outcome of cancer treatment has noticeably improved. For example, early detection, diagnosis and treatment of cancer of the cervix and breast have lead to a high cure rate for these cancer patients in the early stage of the disease. In the past decade, the progress in innovation in radiotherapy equipment and the discovery of targeted chemotherapeutic drugs have noticeably improved the survival rate for certain types of cancer at the early or middle stages, such as some gastric, colorectal, nasopharyngeal, esophageal cancers and some histopathological types of malignant lymphoma. However, in spite of these achievements, the overall survival rate for cancer, particularly regarding hepatic cancer, pancreatic and small cell lung cancer and others has still not significantly increased. Therefore, we have to pay serious attention to the basic concepts of cancer biology, especially the mechanism of carcinogenesis, cancer development and its progression, to achieve the goal of 3P cancer medicine: the prevention (primary and secondary); the prediction of cancer as well as its clinical outcome, particularly metastasis; and the personalized treatment of cancer.

Abstract:To evaluate the temporal and spatial distribution of the knowledge network about tumor microenvironment and prognoses and explore new research hot spots and trends. Articles and reviews on tumor microenvironment and prognoses in the Web of Science journal from January 1999 to April 2022 were included. We used the CiteSpace and VOSviewer software to analyze the knowledge network composed of journals, institutions, countries, authors, and keywords. Frontiers in Immunology, Cancers , and Frontiers in Oncology have published more than 10% of articles in this field. China and the United States have contributed the most articles. Fudan University and Sun Yat-Sen University are the most active institutions. The authors in this field work closely; Zhang Wei and Douglas have made outstanding contributions. The three main research areas of tumor microenvironment and prognoses are microenvironment, prognosis, and immunotherapy. Until 2020, the main keywords were endothelial growth factor and adhesion. In the past three years, survival analysis, immune cell infiltration, and prediction model have been used. It can be seen that the focus in this field has shifted from tumor cell behavior and directly related molecules to prognosis prediction and non-tumor cells in the microenvironment. The future research trend may be to study the changes in the tumor microenvironment to predict the prognosis and guide the treatment. VOSviewer, CiteSpace, and Microsoft Excel 2019 were used to conduct a comprehensive visual analysis of the research on tumor environment and prognoses and provide valuable reference materials for researchers.
