Abstract:In the crystal structure of the title compound, C(26)H(33)N(3)O(4), there are two crystallographically independent mol-ecules. The two cyclohexane rings are trans-fused; the ring neighboring the phenyl group is in a half-chair conformation and the other is in a chair conformation. The two nitro groups and the benzene ring of the dinitro-phenyl group are almost coplanar. Intra-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds and weak inter-molecular C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds are observed.

Abstract:Crystals of the title compound C22H12N6.2HCl.2H(2)O (DAA.HCl) were obtained from a HCl aqueous solution of 4, 5-diazafluorene-9-one azine. The crystal belongs to monoclinic, 3 space group P2(1)/c with a = 5.203(3), b = 8.991(3), c = 22.17(1) Angstrom, beta = 92.13(4)degrees, V = 1036.2(9) Angstrom, Z = 2, C22H18N6O2Cl2, M-r = 468.1, D-c = 1.503 g/cm(3), F(000) = 484, mu(MoKalpha) = 0.344 mm(-1), R = 0.052 and wR = 0.056 for 755 observed reflections. The Cl...N(2) distance of 2.999(6) Angstrom and Cl... H-N(2) angle of 160.8(8)degrees imply the existence of a stronger H-bond between Cl and DAA. And both the rather longer Cl-H distance of 1.814(2) Angstrom and the unexpected shorter N(2)-H distance of 1.236(6) Angstrom suggest the protonation of DAA molecule and explain the weak coordination ability of DAA to a metal center in the acidic solution.

Abstract:The title compound, C14H14BrNO4, contains a tricyclic ring system including three contiguous stereocenters all of which exhibit an R configuration. The cyclo-hexa-none ring adopts a chair conformation. The central oxane ring assumes a strained envelope conformation, with five of the ring atoms being nearly coplanar with the bromo-phenyl group and with the C atom adjacent to the O atom and fused with the cyclo-hexa-none ring as the flap. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked into a three-dimensional network by C-H⋯O inter-actions.

Abstract:The title compound N-phenyl-2-deoxy-D-ribopyranosylamine featuring a single conformation and pyranose-ring has been synthesized and characterized by NMR spectrum and X-ray diffraction. X-ray crystal structure analysis shows that its crystal belongs to the monoclinic system, space group P2(1) with a = 6.5375(9), b = 7.7140(9), c = 10.7865(16) angstrom, beta= 97.578(11)degrees, Z = 2, V = 539.22(13) angstrom(3), D-c = 1.289 g/cm(3), F(000) = 224, mu(MoK alpha) =. 4.533 mm(-1), R = 0.0305 and wR = 0.0639 for 1093 observed reflections (I > 2 sigma(I)). This compound exists as a-conformation and C-1(4) chair-like configuration.

It crystallizes in the orthorhombic system, space group P212121 with a = 8.361（2）, b = 12.432（3）, c = 12.791（4） , Z = 4, V = 1329.6（6） 3, Dc = 1.295 g/cm3, F（000） = 552, C15H17NO3 and Mr = 259.30. All the active hydrogen atoms are involved in the formation of hydrogen bonds in the molecule.

Abstract:In the title compound, C14H16ClNO2, the cyclo-hexyl ring has a chair conformation. The dihedral angle between the benzene ring and the mean plane of the four planar C atoms of the cyclo-hexyl ring is 45.2 (3)°. The two carbonyl groups are trans to one another, with an O=C-C=O torsion angle of -137.1 (3)°. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked by N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds forming chains propagating along [001]. A region of disordered electron density, situated near the unit-cell corners, was treated using the SQUEEZE routine in PLATON [Spek (2009 ▶). Acta Cryst. D65, 148-155]. It gave a solvent-accessible void of ca 400 Å(3) for only 21 electrons. It is probably due to traces of the solvent of crystallization and was not taken into account during structure refinement.

Abstract:Three N-chlorophenyl-2-deoxy-alpha-D-pyranosylamine compounds (1, 2 and 3) were synthesized through a reaction of 2-deoxy-D-ribose with different chlorobenzenamines in water and methanol. Their structures were identified by means of H-1 NMR and C-13 NMR spectra. Pure N-chlorophenyl-2-deoxy-alpha-D-ribopyranosylamine was dissolved in d(6)-DMSO with an additional drop of heavy water at room temperature. It was found that compound 1 isomerized to four configurational isomers, which was confirmed by H-1 NMR and C-13 NMR analyses. Single crystals of compounds 1, 2 and 3 were grown and their crystal structures were determined by a single crystal diffraction technique. The reason why the reaction gives only a pyranose configuration compound was explained. And the isomerization mechanism of compound 1 was explored.
