Abstract:The title compound, C3H5N2+center dot C7H5O4-, consists of imidazolium cations and 2,4-dihydroxybenzoate anions that link to each other via hydrogen bonding. Furthermore, pi-pi stacking is observed between parallel benzene rings and between benzene and imidazole rings.

Abstract:The crystal structure of the title compound, C6H8N4S22+.-2C(6)H(7)N(4)S(2)(+.)4C(7)H(4)NO(4)(-), comprises diprotonated diaminobithiazole (DABT) dications located on inversion centers, monoprotonated DABT cations and nitrobenzoate anions. The relatively short C - N( amino) bond distances, ranging from 1.310 (2) to 1.350 (2) angstrom, indicate electron delocalization between the amino groups and thiazole rings. Intermolecular N - H (...) O and N - H (...) N hydrogen bonds stabilize the crystal packing.

Abstract:In the title compound, C7H7N2+center dot C8H4NO6-, the partially overlapped arrangement and the shorter face-to-face distance of 3.457 (4) angstrom indicate pi-pi stacking between parallel benzimidazolium cations, whereas the longer face-to-face distance of 3.649 (6) angstrom suggests normal van der Waals contacts between parallel benzene rings of neighbouring nitro-terephthalate anions.

Abstract:In the structure of the title salt, C6H9N2+ center dot C7H6NO2-, the 4-aminobenzoate anions are linked to adjacent anions and 2-amino-4-methylpyridinium cations via N - H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonds, forming a three-dimensional supramolecular structure. The crystal structure also shows a weak C - H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bond between adjacent anions. Within the 4-aminobenzoate anion, the carboxylate group is twisted by 14.0 (4)degrees with respect to the benzene ring.

Abstract:In the molecule of the title compound, C9H11NO2, the methyl C atom bonded to the ring and the N atom lie in the benzene ring plane. An intramolecular O-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bond results in the formation of a five-membered planar ring, which is oriented at a dihedral angle of 81.37 (3)degrees with respect to the benzene ring. In the crystal structure, intermolecular O-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonds link the molecules stacked along the b axis. There are also pi-pi interactions between benzene rings with a face-to-face stacking distance of 3.434 angstrom.
