Abstract:In the structure of the title salt, C6H9N2+ center dot C7H6NO2-, the 4-aminobenzoate anions are linked to adjacent anions and 2-amino-4-methylpyridinium cations via N - H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonds, forming a three-dimensional supramolecular structure. The crystal structure also shows a weak C - H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bond between adjacent anions. Within the 4-aminobenzoate anion, the carboxylate group is twisted by 14.0 (4)degrees with respect to the benzene ring.

Abstract:The crystal structure of the title compound, C6H8N4S22+.-2C(6)H(7)N(4)S(2)(+.)4C(7)H(4)NO(4)(-), comprises diprotonated diaminobithiazole (DABT) dications located on inversion centers, monoprotonated DABT cations and nitrobenzoate anions. The relatively short C - N( amino) bond distances, ranging from 1.310 (2) to 1.350 (2) angstrom, indicate electron delocalization between the amino groups and thiazole rings. Intermolecular N - H (...) O and N - H (...) N hydrogen bonds stabilize the crystal packing.

Abstract:In the title salt, C(6)H(9)N(2) (+)·NO(3) (-), the 2-amino-5-methyl-pyridinium cation and the nitrate anion are cyclically linked through pyridinium and amine N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds [graph set R(4) (3)(12)]. These units are extended into a zigzag chain structure lying parallel to the a axis, through a second cyclic R(2) (2)(8) association involving amine N-H⋯O and aromatic C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds to nitrate O-atom acceptors.

Abstract:In the title compound, C(24)H(17)N(2)O(4)(+)center dot NO(3)(-)center dot 0.25H(2)O, the central pyridine ring of the 2',6'-bis(4-carboxyphenyl)-4,4'-bipyridin-1-ium cation is almost coplanar with one benzene ring [dihedral angle = 1.03 (5)degrees], while it makes dihedral angles of 9.59 (5)degrees with the other benzene ring and 13.66 (6)degrees with the pyridinium ring.
