Abstract:The crystal structure of the title compound, C6H8N4S22+.-2C(6)H(7)N(4)S(2)(+.)4C(7)H(4)NO(4)(-), comprises diprotonated diaminobithiazole (DABT) dications located on inversion centers, monoprotonated DABT cations and nitrobenzoate anions. The relatively short C - N( amino) bond distances, ranging from 1.310 (2) to 1.350 (2) angstrom, indicate electron delocalization between the amino groups and thiazole rings. Intermolecular N - H (...) O and N - H (...) N hydrogen bonds stabilize the crystal packing.

Abstract:In the title compound, [Zn(C7H5O3)2(C7H6N2)2]·0.25H2O, the ZnII atom is coordinated by two 4-hydroxybenzoate anions and two benzimidazole (bzim) molecules, resulting in a distorted ZnO2N2 tetrahedral geometry. The short face-to-face distance of 3.28 (4) Å between parallel partially overlapped bzim ligands of neighboring molecules indicates the existence of π–π stacking in the crystal structure.

Abstract:The title compound, ((C772445762223], is composed of CdII-containing complex anions and benzimidazolium (HBZIM) cations. The CdII atom is coordinated by a tridentate oxydiacetate (ODA) dianion, a chloride anion and two benzimidazole (BZIM) molecules, forming a distorted octahedral CdNCl)-Cl-H-Cl-N-Cl-)[Cd(C-Cl-H-Cl-O-Cl-)Cl(C-Cl-H-Cl-N-Cl-)-Cl-O coordination geometry. The ODA dianion chelates facially to the CdII atom. The face-to-face distances of 3.444 (12) and 3.386 (5) between partially overlapped BZIM rings and between HBZIM rings, respectively, indicate the existence of p - p stacking in the crystal structure.

Abstract:In the mol-ecule of the title compound, C(9)H(11)NO(2), the methyl C atom bonded to the ring and the N atom lie in the benzene ring plane. An intra-molecular O-H⋯O hydrogen bond results in the formation of a five-membered planar ring, which is oriented at a dihedral angle of 81.37 (3)° with respect to the benzene ring. In the crystal structure, inter-molecular O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds link the mol-ecules stacked along the b axis.
