Abstract:Photons, the individual quanta of the light field, are what the science of quantum photonics is dedicatedly investigating. The manipulation and coherent control of photons in quantum photonics enables the exploration of various quantum phenomena of high fundamental interest. In the meantime, due to the fast speed and a lack of the interaction with the environment, photons are now regarded as a promising platform for the emerging quantum information processing (QIP) studies. Therefore, there is a growing number of works on quantum computing, quantum communication, and quantum metrology that are solidly based on the techniques of quantum photonics. Abstract:Wenlong Yang and Yu Wang designed the cover image that showed the interface structure of the polyimide/silica composites. The functional groups on the surface of nanofillers could significantly improve the organic‐inorganic interfacial compatibility and the interfacial load transfer efficiency. The static dielectric permittivity of PI‐based composites could be elevated by enhancing intrinsic polarization. These results provided an understanding of the atomic‐scale interfacial structures, which was beneficial for the design and preparation of the nanocomposites with superior dielectric and mechanical performances. Abstract:Inside Back Cover: The cover image is based on the Research Article Slippery quartz surfaces for anti-fouling optical windows by Li et al. An antifouling transparent window is fabricated on a silica glass surface by infusing lubricant into its porous microstructure prepared by femtosecond laser ablation. The as-prepared surface exhibits great repellence to various liquids, good antifogging ability and stability after immersion into corrosive solutions.
