Abstract:The crystal structure of the title compound, C6H8N4S22+.-2C(6)H(7)N(4)S(2)(+.)4C(7)H(4)NO(4)(-), comprises diprotonated diaminobithiazole (DABT) dications located on inversion centers, monoprotonated DABT cations and nitrobenzoate anions. The relatively short C - N( amino) bond distances, ranging from 1.310 (2) to 1.350 (2) angstrom, indicate electron delocalization between the amino groups and thiazole rings. Intermolecular N - H (...) O and N - H (...) N hydrogen bonds stabilize the crystal packing.

Abstract:In the title compound, C(8)H(5)NOS(2), the non-H atoms are approximately coplanar [maxium deviation = 0.060 (3) Å]. The dihedral angle between the least-squares planes of the pyridine and 1,3-dithiol-2-one rings is 5.96 (17)°. The crystal packing is stabilized by weak inter-molecular C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds and by an S⋯S close contact [3.510 (5) Å].

Abstract:In the crystal of the title compound, 2C(9)H(8)NO(+).C4H2-Br2O42-. 2C(4)H(4)Br(2)O(4), the dibromosuccinate dianion and dibromosuccinic acid molecules each lie on an inversion center. They interact via hydrogen bonding. The hydroxy-quinolinium cations are hydrogen bonded to both the dibromosuccinate anion and dibromosuccinic acid molecules. The overlapped arrangement and short face-to-face distance of 3.431 ( 17) Angstrom indicate the existence of pi-pi stacking between hydroxyquinolinium rings in the crystal structure.

Abstract:The title compound, [Cu(C(4)H(4)O(5))(C(6)H(6)N(4)S(2))].H(2)O, displays a square-pyramidal coordination geometry. The tridentate oxydiacetate dianion chelates the Cu(II) atom in the facial mode. The large difference [0.487 (4) A] between the longest Cu-O distance in the basal plane and that in the apical direction correlates with the small displacement of the Cu(II) atom [0.0576 (13) A] from the basal plane towards the apex of the square pyramid. The intermolecular hydrogen-bonding network results in a closely overlapped arrangement of the coordination basal plane and the thiazole ring of a neighboring molecule.

Abstract:In the crystal structure of the title compound, [Mn(C3H4N2)(6)]-[Mn(C3H4N2) (3)(H2O)(3)](C12H6O4)(2), there are uncoordinated naphthalenedicarboxylate dianions and two kinds of Mn-II complex cations, both assuming a distorted octahedral geometry. One Mn-II cation is located on an inversion center and is coordinated by six imidazole molecules, while the other Mn-II cation is located on a twofold rotation axis and is coordinated by three water molecules and three imidazole units. The naphthalenedicarboxylate dianions are linked to both Mn-II complex cations via O-H center dot center dot center dot O and N-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonding, but no pi-pi stacking is observed between aromatic rings in the crystal structure.

Abstract:The title compound, C22H15N3, was synthesized by the reaction of 4,5-diphenyl-2-(2-nitrophenyl)imidazole with triethyl orthoformate, induced by a low-valent titanium reagent (TiCl4/Zn). There are two independent molecules of similar conformation in the asymmetric unit. X-ray analysis reveals that the imidazole ring and pyrimidine ring are essentially coplanar.

Abstract:The title compound, C23H16ClN3, has been synthesized by the reaction of 4,5-diphenyl-2-(2-nitro-5-chlorophenyl)imidazole with triethyl ortho-acetate, induced by a low-valent titanium reagent. Abstract:The title compound 2,2-pentamethylene-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroquinazolin-4-one is of monoclinic, space group P2(1)/n with a = 10.387(1), b = 10.954(2), c = 10.827(2) Angstrom, beta = 110.77(1)degrees, C13H16N2O, M-r = 216.28, Z = 4, V = 1151.8(4) Angstrom(3), D-c = 1.247 g/cm(3), mu(MoKalpha) = 0.080 mm(-1), F(000) = 464, R = 0.0499 and wR = 0.1217 for 1575 observed reflections (I > 2sigma(I)). X-ray analysis reveals that the pyrimidine and cyclohexane rings adopt half-chair and chair configurations, respectively. In addition, there exists an intermolecular hydrogen bond (N(1)-H(1)...O) in the product molecule.

Abstract:The title compound, C(24)H(22)N(2)O(2), was prepared by condensation of 1,2-bis-(4-ethoxy-phen-yl)ethane-1,2-dione and 1,2-diamino-benzene. The asymmetric unit contains one half-mol-ecule, close to a twofold axis. The plane of the quinoxaline ring is twisted with respect to the planes of the two ethoxy-phenyl ring systems, exhibiting dihedral angles of 39.95 (9)°. The crystal packing is dominated by weak C-H⋯π inter-actions. No classical hydrogen bonds or stacking inter-actions are observed.

Abstract:In the title isoquinolinedione derivative, C(16)H(16)N(2)O(3)S, the piperidine ring in the tetrahydroisoquinoline ring system adopts a distorted envelope conformation. The thiazole ring is essentially planar [maximum deviation = 0.004 (1) angstrom] and is inclined at a dihedral angle of 31.08 (3)degrees with respect to the mean plane through the tetrahydroisoquinoline ring system. In the crystal structure, intermolecular O-H center dot center dot center dot O and C-H center dot center dot center dot O interactions link adjacent molecules into a three-dimensional extended network. The crystal structure is further stabilized by weak C-H center dot center dot center dot pi interactions.
