Abstract:Let A be a connected graded algebra and let E denote its Ext-algebra. There is a natural A-infinity algebra structure on E, and we prove that this structure is mainly determined by the relations of A. In particular, the coefficients of the A-infinity products m_n restricted to the tensor powers of Ext^1 give the coefficients of the relations of A. We also relate the m_n's to Massey products.

Abstract:Let $A$ be a bi-Koszul algebra, we describe all possible $A_\infty$-algebra structures on the Ext-algebra $E(A)$, and prove that $E(A)$ must be $[m_2, m_3]$-finitely generated. An equivalent description for a connected graded algebra to be a bi-Koszul algebra is given in terms of $A_\infty$-language. The case that $E(A)$ is endowed with minimal number of multiplications is discussed for decomposition.
Transfers of $A_\infty$- and other homotopy structures as Grothendieck bifibrations

Abstract:We show that the functor which assigns to an A-infinity morphism between isotopy classes of A-infinity algebras whose linear part is a chain homotopy equivalence its underlying chain map is a discrete Grothendieck bifibration. We then generalize our results to P-infinity structures over a field of characteristic zero, for any quadratic Koszul operad P. An immediate application is a categorical framework in which the transfers of e.g. A-infinity, L-infinity and C-infinity structures are strictly functorial. A by product of our reasoning is a general transfer theorem for P-infinity algebras, which we prove in the last section.

Abstract:The main result of this paper is the proof of the "transversal part" of the homological mirror symmetry conjecture for an elliptic curve which states an equivalence of two $A_{\infty}$-structures on the category of vector bundles on an elliptic curves. The proof is based on the study of $A_{\infty}$-structures on the category of line bundles over an elliptic curve satisfying some natural restrictions (in particular, $m_1$ should be zero, $m_2$ should coincide with the usual composition). The key observation is that such a structure is uniquely determined up to homotopy by certain triple products.

Transfer theorems for finitely subdirectly irreducible algebras

Abstract:We show that under certain conditions, well-studied algebraic properties transfer from the class $\mathcal{Q}_{_\text{RFSI}}$ of the relatively finitely subdirectly irreducible members of a quasivariety $\mathcal{Q}$ to the whole quasivariety, and, in certain cases, back again. First, we prove that if $\mathcal{Q}$ is relatively congruence-distributive, then it has the $\mathcal{Q}$-congruence extension property if and only if $\mathcal{Q}_{_\text{RFSI}}$ has this property. We then prove that if $\mathcal{Q}$ has the $\mathcal{Q}$-congruence extension property and $\mathcal{Q}_{_\text{RFSI}}$ is closed under subalgebras, then $\mathcal{Q}$ has a one-sided amalgamation property (equivalently, for $\mathcal{Q}$, the amalgamation property) if and only if $\mathcal{Q}_{_\text{RFSI}}$ has this property. We also establish similar results for the transferable injections property and strong amalgamation property. For each property considered, we specialize our results to the case where $\mathcal{Q}$ is a variety -- so that $\mathcal{Q}_{_\text{RFSI}}$ is the class of finitely subdirectly irreducible members of $\mathcal{Q}$ and the $\mathcal{Q}$-congruence extension property is the usual congruence extension property -- and prove that when $\mathcal{Q}$ is finitely generated and congruence-distributive, and $\mathcal{Q}_{_\text{RFSI}}$ is closed under subalgebras, possession of the property is decidable. Finally, as a case study, we provide a complete description of the subvarieties of a notable variety of BL-algebras that have the amalgamation property.

Abstract:Following the article of C. M. Ringel we introduce preprojective algebras of a Dynkin quiver Q starting from three definitions which, despite concerning completely different algebraic structures, turn out to be equivalent. Our main result is a new version of Ringel’s proofs that applies a theorem by Happel and exploits the techniques of homological algebra. Moreover we show that the definition of the preprojective algebra given with the usual notion of commutator is equivalent to the definition with the "generalised" commutator.

Abstract:Given a noncommutative Hamiltonian space $A$, we show that the conjecture ``{\it quantization commutes with reduction}'' holds on $A$. We also construct a semi-product algebra $A \rtimes \mG^A$, equivariant sheaves on the representation space are related to left $A \rtimes \mG^A$-modules. In the quiver setting, via the quantum and classical trace maps, we establish the explicit correspondence between quantizations on a preprojective algebra and those on a quiver variety.

Abstract:Abstract We investigate the (separated) monomorphism category of a quiver over an Artin algebra . We show that there exists an epivalence (called representation equivalence in the terminology of Auslander) from to , where is the category of finitely generated ‐modules and and denote the respective injectively stable categories. Furthermore, if has at least one arrow, then we show that this is an equivalence if and only if is hereditary. In general, the epivalence induces a bijection between indecomposable objects in and noninjective indecomposable objects in , and we show that the generalized Mimo‐construction, an explicit minimal right approximation into , gives an inverse to this bijection. We apply these results to describe the indecomposables in the monomorphism category of radical square zero Nakayama algebras, and to give a bijection between the indecomposables in the monomorphism category of two artinian uniserial rings of Loewy length 3 with the same residue field. The main tool to prove these results is the language of a free monad of an exact endofunctor on an arbitrary abelian category. This allows us to avoid the technical combinatorics arising from quiver representations. The setup also specializes to more general settings, such as representations of modulations. In particular, we obtain new results on the singularity category of the algebras that were introduced by Geiss, Leclerc, and Schröer in order to extend their results relating cluster algebras and Lusztig's semicanonical basis to symmetrizable Cartan matrices. We also recover results on the algebras that were introduced by Lu and Wang to realize groups via semiderived Hall algebras.

An Alternative to Homotopy Transfer for $A_\infty$-Algebras

Abstract:In this work, we propose a novel approach to the homotopy transfer procedure starting from a set of homotopy data such that the first differential complex is a differential graded module over the second one. We show that the module structure may be used to induce an $A_\infty$-algebra on the second differential complex, constructed in a similar fashion to the homotopy transfer $A_\infty$-algebra. We prove that, under certain conditions, the $A_\infty$-algebras obtained with this procedure are quasi-isomorphic to the homotopy transfer one. On the other hand, when the side conditions do not hold, we find that there are cases where the existence of an $A_\infty$-quasi-isomorphism with the homotopy transfer $A_\infty$-algebra is obstructed. In other words, we obtain a new $A_\infty$-algebra on the second complex, inequivalent to the homotopy transfer one. Lastly, we prove that these $A_\infty$-algebras are not infinitesimal Hochschild deformations of the homotopy transfer $A_\infty$-algebra.

Abstract:In this paper, we summarize a general method of transforming DG structures into higher structures on the various complexes related to the reduced bar resolution of a given quiver algebra using algebraic Morse theory. As an application, we describe the $A_\infty$-structures of toupie algebras. Additionally, for certain special toupie algebras, we also prove that their double homological duals are isomorphic to their associated graded algebras.

Noncommutative resolutions of AS-Gorenstein isolated singularites

Abstract:In this paper, we investigate noncommutative resolutions of (generalized) AS-Gorenstein isolated singularities. Noncommutative resolutions in graded case are achieved as the graded endomorphism rings of some finitely generated graded modules, which are seldom $\mathbb{N}$-graded algebras but bounded-below $\mathbb{Z}$-graded algebras. So, the paper works on locally finite bounded-below $\mathbb{Z}$-graded algebras. We first define and study noncommutative projective schemes after Artin-Zhang, and define noncommutative quasi-projective spaces as the base spaces of noncommutative projective schemes. The equivalences between noncommutative quasi-projective spaces are proved to be induced by so-called modulo-torsion-invertible bimodules, which is in fact a Morita-like theory at the quotient category level. Based on the equivalences, we propose a definition of noncommutative resolutions of generalized AS-Gorenstein isolated singularities, and prove that such noncommutative resolutions are generalized AS regular algebras. The center of any noncommutative resolution is isomorphic to the center of the original generalized AS-Gorenstein isolated singularity. In the final part we prove that a noncommutative resolution of an AS-Gorenstein isolated singularity of dimension $d$ is given by an MCM generator $M$ if and only if $M$ is a $(d-1)$-cluster tilting module. A noncommutative version of the Bondal-Orlov conjecture is also proved to be true in dimension 2 and 3.

Fukaya A-infinity structure near infinity and the categorical formal completion

Abstract:For a stopped Liouville manifold arising from a Liouville sector, we construct a symplectic analogue of the formal neighborhood of the stop on the level of Fukaya categories. This geometric construction is performed via Floer-theoretic methods by allowing wrappings in the negative direction. On the other hand, inspired by homological mirror symmetry for pairs, where the mirror is the formal neighborhood of a divisor in an ambient projective variety, there is a different approach by taking a `categorical formal completion' introduced by Efimov. Our main results establishes equivalence of these two approaches, confirms computability of this new type of Floer theory by categorical and algebraic means, and indicates contributions from and to computations in homological mirror symmetry.

Abstract:We establish an explicit isomorphism between two realizations of the quantum affine algebra U(q)(gI(n)) given previously by Drinfeld and Reshetikhin-Semenov-Tian-Shansky. Our result can be considered as an affine version of the isomorphism between the Drinfield/Jimbo and the Faddeev-Reshetikhin-Takhtajan constructions of the quantum algebra U(q)(gI(n)).

Abstract:Fix a finite-dimensional simple Lie algebra $\mathfrak{g}$ and let $\mathfrak{g}_J\subseteq\mathfrak{g}$ be a Lie subalgebra coming from a Dynkin diagram inclusion. Then, the corresponding restriction functor is not essentially surjective on finite-dimensional simple $\mathfrak{g}_J$-modules. In this article, we study Finkelberg-Tsymbaliuk's shifted quantum affine algebras $U_q^{\mu}(\mathfrak{g})$ and the associated categories $\mathcal{O}^{\mu}$ (defined by Hernandez). In particular, we introduce natural subalgebras $U_q^{\nu}(\mathfrak{g}_J)\,{\subseteq}\,U_q^{\mu}(\mathfrak{g})$ and obtain a functor $\mathcal{R}_J$ from $\mathcal{O}^{sh}\,{=}\bigoplus_{\mu}\mathcal{O}^{\mu}$ to $\bigoplus_{\nu}(U_q^{\nu}(\mathfrak{g}_J)\text{-Mod})$ using the canonical restriction functors. We then establish that $\mathcal{R}_J$ is essentially surjective on finite-dimensional simple objects by constructing notable preimages that we call inflations. We conjecture that all simple objects in $\mathcal{O}^{sh}_J$ (which is the analog of $\mathcal{O}^{sh}$ for the subalgebras $U_q^{\nu}(\mathfrak{g}_J)$) admit some inflation and prove this for $\mathfrak{g}$ of type A-B or $\mathfrak{g}_J$ a direct sum of copies of $\mathfrak{sl}_2$ and $\mathfrak{sl}_3$. We finally apply our results to deduce certain $R$-matrices and examples of cluster structures over Grothendieck rings.

Combinatorial free chain complexes over quotient polynomial rings

Abstract:We present a procedure that constructs, in a combinatorial manner, a chain complex of free modules over a polynomial ring in finitely many variables, modulo an ideal generated by quadratic monomials. Applying this procedure to two specific rings and one family of rings, we demonstrate that the resulting chain complex is indeed an exact chain complex and thus a free resolution. Utilizing this free resolution, we show that, for these rings, the injective dimension is infinite, as modules over itself. Finally, we propose the conjecture that this procedure always yields a free resolution.
