Lessons from ERP Failures for Enterprise Phased Information Systematization

Abstract:Abstrcat Drawing on the frequent failures of China's enterprises in implementing ERP and the impractical application of strategies, the authors, taking approaches of causal analysis and quantity-quality interaction, make a study into the relationship between the success of the system and its underpinning factors and relevant tactics. They also study the interrelational constraint and stimuli of the resulting effects after the successful application of the system. The findings lead to the establishment of cause-effect based phased information systematization model and a parallel study of the quantity-quality transformation of the model.
