Abstract:There are a great many interpretation errors in The Research of the White Stone Statue in Qu Yang, in essence because of misunderstanding of the characters with similar forms, not understanding the combined graphs, not knowing variant characters and cultural words and so on.It is suggested that combined with historical documents and rubbings of excerption, errors can be corrected, the cause can be pointed out and the spreading of errors can be avoided so that the precious documentary materials can be utilized more scientifically.
