Abstract:If we break the nar ro w compartmentalization of disciplines,an d therefore explore Feng Youlan's aesthe tics from a broad aesthetic perspective, where we at least find three different d imensions.On all the three dimensions,Fe ng Youlan delivers some idiographic view s.A study of these views is not only hel pful to understand Feng Youlan's aesthet ics on a deeper level,but also supply a new perspective to understand his whole philosophical thoughts.
