Abstract:Motivated by the idea of Badiale and Tarantello who have found Hardy-Sobolev inequalities on R n , a class of Hardy-Sobolev type inequalities on H-type groups is proved via a new representation formula for functions. Extremal functions realizing equality in the inequalities are discussed by refined Concentration-Compactness principles. Finally, some sharp constants for Hardy type inequalities are given.

Abstract:By introducing the function 1/(min{x, y}), we establish several new inequalities similar to Hilbert's type inequality. Abstract:The purpose of this paper is to consider a class of p-degenerate subelliptic operators Lp constructed by generalizing Greiner's vector fields. Their fundamental solutions at the origin are established with the aid of the properties of radial functions. A Picone-type identity and a Hardy-type inequality with respect to vector fields are proved. Some Pohozaev-type identities and applications to nonlinear equations are given. Finally, a Carleman-type estimate and uniqueness of the operator L2 are discussed.

Abstract:In this paper, we prove some Hardy-type inequalities for the degenerate operators L(p,alpha)u = div(L)(\del(L)u\(p-2)del(L)u), where del(L)u = (deltau/deltaz(1),...,deltau/deltaz(n), \z\(alpha)deltau/deltat(1),...,\z\(alpha)deltau/deltat(n)). These inequalities are established for the whole space, the pseudo-ball and the external domain of the pseudo-ball. We also give a generalization of a result in [8]. Finally, a sharp inequality for L-alpha = L-2,L-alpha is obtained.

This class of operator is more extensive than the generalized Baouendi-Grushin operator. Thus the known results on generalized Baouendi-Grushin operators become particular cases here.

Abstract:[1] investigates advanced connotations of Hardy and Rellich-type inequalities on complete noncompact Riemannian manifolds, delving on deriving inequalities that incorporate poignant weight functions. These inequalities prolongate classical results by providing sharper estimates conforming the geometry and structure of the underlying manifold. We in this paper further extend the inequalities and in due course exhibit them in section [4] in terms of theorems and proofs.

Abstract:In this paper we establish a class of Hardy inequalities related to the gen- eralized Baouendi-Grushin vector fields from another view. Our technique is based on an extension of an elementary integral inequality in the Euclidean space by the generalized di- vergence theorem, and then the choice of suitable vector fields. The best constant is also discussed. Our results contain the well known Hardy inequalities for the class of vector fields. As immediate consequences, we discuss some properties for p-degenerate subelliptic opera- tor and characterize a positive solutions of the nonlinear operator constructed by generalized Baouendi-Grnshin vector fields.

Abstract:In this article we study various forms of the Hardy inequality for affine connections on a complete noncompact Riemannian manifold, including the two-weight Hardy inequality, the improved Hardy inequality, the Rellich inequality, the Hardy-Poincaré inequality and the Heisenberg-Pauli-Weyl inequality. Our results improve and include many previously known results as special cases.

Abstract:Based on properties of vector fields, we prove Hardy inequalities with remainder terms in the Heisenberg group and a compact embedding in weighted Sobolev spaces. The best constants in Hardy inequalities are determined. Then we discuss the existence of solutions for the nonlinear eigenvalue problems in the Heisenberg group with weights for the -sub-Laplacian. The asymptotic behaviour, simplicity, and isolation of the first eigenvalue are also considered.
