Analyze the Current Situation of the Reform of Health and Family Planning Comprehensive Supervision System in Gansu Province

Abstract:Objective To investigate the status of health and family planning comprehensive supervision system reform in Gansu province,find out and analyze the problem,and put forward feasible suggestions.Methods The questionnaire survey,interview and focus group discussion methods were used to describe the status of health and family planning comprehensive supervision system reform in Gansu province.Results The reform of healthand family planning comprehensive supervision system in Gansu province was implementing smoothly.The city and state organ-ization has been all integrated,while some counties are yet to be integrated.So some problems still existed in the process of reform with the name of reformed institution was not unified.The authorized size of staff was short and the quality was low.The organization functions of internal division of labor were not clear.The reform did not reach the designated position.The financial resource was inadequate.Conclusion The lack of understanding of the reform, the low professional qualities,the lack of accurate positioning of functions of the health and family planning supervi-sor,and the lack of human,material and financial resources and so on are factors affected the progress of the reform.
