Effects of incidence of dental fluorosis endemic in fluorosis region factors

Abstract:Objective To investigate the effects of incidence of dental fluorosis endemic in fluorosis region factors.Methods Multi-stage stratified sampling method was used to select some residents in fluorosis ill districts in Gulin,and the prevalence of dental fluorosis and the related factors were surveyed from March to July in 2014.Results The prevalence rate of dental fluorosis was 84.95％,including 902 mild cases account for 33.11％,958 moderate account for35.17％,454 cases of severe account for 16.67％.With the increase of the birth year,the prevalence rate of dental fluorosis decreased significantly (x2 =74.012,P＜0.05),the severity of dental fluorosis (CFI) also decreases with age significantly decreased (F=63.912,P＜0.05).Logistic analysis showed that the main influencing factors of dental fluorosis including that burn coal in home before 12 years old,reform of stove before 12 years old,age,family income and occupation.Conclusion Although the incidence of dental fluorosis decreased in recent years,but the incidence of dental fluorosis of children born from 2000 to 2003 years still reached about 50％,dental fluorosis prevention and control work still needs to be strengthened.Occurrence of dental fluorosis influence factors including burn coal in home before 12 years old,reform of stove before 12 years old,age,family income and occupation.
