Abstract:Objective To investigate the prevalence of menopausal symptoms among middle -aged women and analyze its influencing factor.Methods To investigate the women in 32~70 years old with menopausal symptoms and the relevant factors in jurisdiction of Yuetan Community Health Service Center of Fu Xing Hospital, Capital Medical University and The Second Hospital of Beijing.Results Survey of 2 794 women, the average age is (53.54 ±7.13)y, 2 165(77.49%) were troubled by menopausal syndromes.Among the symptoms, the most frequently symptoms of the top three were “muscle and joint pains”(41.3%), “feeling tired or lacking in energy”( 35.5%) , and “difficulty in sleeping”( 34.6%) .Educational background, physical disease, taking medicine, body mass index (BMI) and menstruation had statistical significance on the effect of menopausal symptoms(P<0.05). Conclusion The perimenopausal and menopausal women were easier to suffer from menopausal symptoms, more attention should be payed to their physical and psychological health, treating with medicine, psychotherapy, or sociotherapy in case of necessity.
