The effect of amiodarone for the treatment of frequent premature ventricular contraction and ventricular tachycardia in tumor patients during the perioperative period

Abstract:Aim:To explore the effect of amiodarone on the tumor patients who were combined with frequent premature ventricular contraction and ventricular tachycardia during the perioperative period. Methods:Sixty patients combined with frequent premature ventricular contraction and ventricular tachy-cardia were selected.We mainly evaluated its therapeutic effect according to the dynamic electrocardio-gram by the time 3 days and one month.Results:Three days later,23(38.3%)founded significantly effective by the dynamic electrocardiogram,there were efficacious in 31 patients(51.7)and no effect in 6 (10%)patients.The total effective was 90%.One month later,all the patients were characterized by significantly effective with another 24 h dynamic electrocardiogram.Conclusion:Amiodarone was a kind of remarkable medicine to treat the tumor patients combined with frequent premature ventricular contrac-tion and ventricular tachycardia for its less side reaction and safety during the perioperative period.It is mainly used to control ventricular arrhythmias.
